Chapter 4 Detention

Layla POV

Holy moly!

What on earth did I just do??. My jaw dropped down and my eyes were wide open, looking at Ace who stood before me with rage in his eyes.

His eyes were wide open and we're looking intently into mine.

"Uh..I.." I found myself stuttering.

His hands shakily and slowly went to his cheek.

"Oh my goodness!" The girl behind me gasped.

I swallowed heavily.

Okay now, I am scared.

"Ace, lemme wipe that for you" Marcus said and made an attempt to wipe it off with a small white handkerchief he was holding but Ace raised his hands, stopping him from moving further.

He clenched his jaw tightly and began to take slow steps towards me.

"What.what..what are doing??" I half yelled at him as I slowly went backwards.

I looked around stylishly and could see more than a hundred eyes were on me.

What have I done for goodness sake??!

"You little thing! How dare you!!" Ace growled and the next thing I saw was that eyes that used to be aqua blue suddenly turned red.

Glowing red..

My eyes went wide immediately,

Okay

He's an Alpha.

That's it...

I'm so done..

I gulped down heavily knowing there's nothing I could do. Do I want to run?

He's super fast and could catch me in less than a second.

Do I want to scream for help?

Oh c'mon, he's feared by everyone so who would be the goddamn person that'd help me?

I can't even shape shift to a wolf or whatever.

But right now, if I could eventually shape shift, I'd hope for nothing else but a bird.

You don't expect me to face this Ace Anderson, An Alpha for crying out loud.

He is ruthless like I have been told.

I'd just turn to a bird and fly, that would be much more easier isn't it?

My thoughts were interrupted the moment I felt his hands tightly around my neck.

Immediately I thought of death.

What the!

Me? Die here? In his hands??

I grabbed his masculine thick and yet beautiful hand as I tried to pull his hands away but he was just so strong for me to handle.

"Layla!!" That was no one else but my Best friend Bailey crying out loud.

"You chicken! What did I tell you??" She added and left her seat to come to me.

My legs were slowly going off the ground and his grip became more tighter.

"Ace! You should stop this" Marcus said to him immediately but nope, he didn't.

" You'd kill her!!" He added

" And that's not a bad idea is it?" He asked still looking at me

" Are ..you.. asking..me??" I managed to say.

Now my legs were completely off the ground.

I was shaking already like an earthworm.

In the midst of confusion on what to do next, I heard a low voice say in my head.

"Kick his balls"

Without thinking again,

" Ahhh!!" I screamed out. And yes, I did!

"Argh!" He groaned and let go of me immediately to the ground.

To the ground again with my butt.

" How nice huh? Letting me to the ground again?" I asked him breathlessly and coughed and the same time.

I could hear some people around laughing lowly.

Okay, i never did this for anyone to laugh at.

"You have a death wish huh??" One of his friends asked me angrily.

"Ace, are you okay?" Marcus asked him as he rushed to him immediately to check him out.

Ace was standing before me and groaning in pain. His hands were apart and his fist were tightly clenched.

"Uh..uh" I mouthed and blinked rapidly at him.

" Layla!?" Bailey exclaimed again.

Before I could reply, a teachers voice was heard.

" What the hell is going on here?! Layla and Ace come with me to the principals office" he demanded.

" Oh great! On my first day of school, I'm going to the principal office because of this jerk a**hole!" I clicked my tongue and muttered lowly.

After pulling myself up from the ground, I had to walk with away with the teacher leaving Ace behind me.

Ace POV

This is an insult to me!. I have never been asked to visit the principal office because of something like this that had just happened.

What type of creature is this girl before me.

I am not just in pain, I'm angered.

All I want to do now is to grab her and pull out her heart because I can sense she would be a huge trouble to henceforth.

I walked away with my friends to the principal's office.

Mr Zay was ahead of us, he got to the door and knocked gently.

"Yes, come in" a voice coming from the office was heard then he went in first.

"Okay ma, the kids I'm about bringing in were caught in a chaotic scene, I really don't know what to do them that's why I am handling them over to you" he explained sounding dramatic as always.

How I so much hate this man..

I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue.

" Bring them in"

He stepped back out and gestured us to walk in, well Layla already stepped in immediately.

I guess she's always visiting the principal office from where she came from.

I walked in after her, "Good afternoon ma" Layla greeted beside me.

Layla POV

"Ace!!!" The principal gasped immediately she saw him. Her eyes went wide open and both her hands went to her desk

"Mom...." Ace replied lowly

"Mom?" I asked out of surprise and raised my brow at him.

" What the hell were you doing again?" She asked him.

Feels like he'd be the only one questioned..I shrugged and kept my eyes on the both of them.

The sudden innocent face he had made me chuckle lowly.

I wasn't noticed by his mom expect him, he turned to me with a glare.

I rolled my eyes at him and looked away. "You haven't answered my question young man!" His mom said to him

"What's on your face too?" She asked him.

Oops..

My eyes went wide after hearing that, now she's definitely gonna turn to me.

This idiot could have just let Marcus wipe it off his face.

"That's why I am here, she did it to me" he replied.

I turned to him and saw him pointing his fingers at me, "Layla!?, Aren't you new??" She replied.

"It's not like I am troublesome ma'am, believe me. Ace here was being so rude to a girl that brought him cake, instead of him to politely refuse the cake, he pushed her to the ground" I replied and she gasped.

Yes!

It's working...

"Ace???" His mom and my principal yelled out

" And I stepped into the scene to stop him, he pushed me again, I'm so sorry, I had to use the cake to slap your son's handsome face ma" I cried out like a psycho

I know Ace must be looking at me with his eyes wide,

"Oh.. Dear" she replied

"Mom!" He exclaimed

" Oh shut up!!" She fired back at him

"I apologized after that, I really didn't mean to do it. Instead, after my apology, he began strangling me. I really thought I would die" I cried out

Ace POV

What the hell is wrong with this girl, my mom is literally falling for everything she's saying.

" Mom, are you gonna believe her?" I scoffed

" Of course, I know my son..you could do something like that" she replied

"And? She kicked my balls Mom" I replied

"What?!!" She gasped and turned to look at Layla.

"I..uh...that...yeah.." she stuttered

" That's it!, You two definitely created a horrible scene out there in the cafeteria, and because of that...there'd be no other thing after school but.

.." she paused and looked at the both of us.

" What...."

she slammed her hands on her desk and exclaimed;

"DETENTION!!"
