Chapter 2 First day

Layla POV

My Dad slapped his forehead, I could hear him groan lowly and tiredly.

"Don't kill my dad, Vernon!" I yelled at my brother.He's very disturbing and frustrating.

"For goodness's sake, leave Layla alone, Vernon!" My dad said to him tiredly.I gave a side smile at him and shrugged, "whatever, I made you breakfast" he said to me.Oh, yeah, he's nice.

Even though I can be troublesome, he would always be a sweet big brother to me.I chuckled lowly and shrugged, "Thanks bro" I replied and walked with him to the dining.

Walking to the dining, on the table I saw a package and was sure it was my breakfast."Yeah, I knew you'd be running late, that's why I made you burgers, you can eat them on your way" he replied.A side smile appeared on my face, "Aww, Vernon! Thanks, love" I replied and rushed to grab my breakfast."So, Dad, we are leaving now" Vernon said out loud."Be good Layla! Don't make trouble" my Dad replied with a wink at me.I am not even troublesome."Yes Dad, you know me" I smiledHe chuckled lowly and shook his head, "Be a good girl for daddy, okay?" He said as he walked to me and pulled me into a hug.I wrapped my hands around him, retuning the hug.

I really feel little In his hands, I mean, you should see my Dad, he is colossal, handsome, tall, and sweet.Apart from his physical appearance that is irresistible, he is a father material. Too bad my mom didn't live to enjoy him.

I pulled away from the hug and got a peck on my forehead from him.

"Try to calm down, I know you'd see a lot there, but still... Chill okay sweetie?" He said to me.I clearly understood what he meant.

"Yes Dad" I replied and walked back to my brother, Vernon."So, see you later Dad" Vernon said and walked out of the house with me, holding my hand. We walked together to the car garage, I had already started eating my breakfast before I got into the car."Foodie" he clicked his tongue as he sat in the driver seat." I'll take it as a compliment" I chuckled.

Ace Anderson POV

"Alpha Ace, your breakfast is ready" I could hear a voice from behind say.I stopped my steps immediately and took in a deep breath before I turned around and looked at the dining table.There was a dish covered, that's definitely my breakfast...

On the other side was a cup of coffee.I took another deep breath and rolled my eyes."Aren't you going to eat?" Marcus asked me with his brows together.He's my Delta, and my best friend. We've been friends since childhood, and there was nothing life brought to us that we couldn't pass through together."I don't really know" I replied and tucked my hands into my pocket

"we are running late, you should eat, so we leave" Leo, a Beta, and another friend of mine said as he pulled his hands closer to his chest.

"Always wants to be punctual!" I scoffed."Since when did time start affecting us?" Raynard asked immediately.

I turned to him and saw him seated on the couch with his legs crossed, and his brows raised at Leo."For once, Raynard! Be a student...we can't keep going to school and classes late" Leo rolled his eyes

"I agree with you Leo" Marcus replied." Thank you!" Leo exclaimed as snapped his fingers and pointed his finger at Marcus." Whatever, Alpha Ace, you should eat something, so we'll leave soon" Zak said to me with his eyes still focused on his phone.I stared at him blankly and cleared my throat.

What else would Zak be doing on his phone if it's not checking the latest designers."Damn! These leather jeans are way cool" he exclaimed.

"THAT'S IT! I KNEW IT!!" Leo exclaimed immediately and rolled his eyes."Among us all, you! Zak.. You're a fashion psycho" he said as we all burst into laughter.I turned around and walked to the dining, I didn't bother checking what they had prepared and covered, instead... I reached for the coffee, took it and walked away with it."Let's go" I said to them and one by one, they got up from the couch with smiles on their faces."Alpha Ace, lead the way please" Marcus said, dramatically, bowing his head. Few minutes later.

Layla POV

"That's it! Here we are, West bridge university" Vernon said with a smile as he pulled the car to a halt.The car was parked outside the tall big black gate.

My jaw dropped immediately, the sight of it was more than I heard and imagined."Will you close your mouth and get off the car?" Vernon poked my shoulders, bringing me back to reality."Uh yeah sure, thanks for the ride" I said as I grabbed my backpack and stepped out of the car."Take care!!" He waved at me and drove away.

The gates were wide open, students were walking in, either in groups or alone.Flashing cars were parked too, students walking out from the driver seat or from the passenger seat."Wow...this really is a university for the rich kids," I said in my thought.

Who cares anyway?

Rich or not... I'm here to study. I took my steps further, I'll just have to tell Bailey in here already.Furthermore, I'm sure she would be excited to see me.Walking in, I was taken aback by the sight of the university.

It isn't just big, it is beautiful.Beautiful flowers around, the green grass by the other side is really a beautiful spot for a picnic.Just while I was still smiling at what I was seeing, I saw students ahead of me scream out and even from behind.What were they screaming at?They sounded excited, but damn...it's creeping me out.

I turned around and saw many of them gathered, throwing their hands in the air, mostly the girls.

Should I watch or just ignore?"Layla!" I heard my name aloud immediately.

I turned back to see Bailey waving her hands at me, "Ahhhhh!!!!" She screamed excitedly and ran to me, jumping on me.

"What the!" I laughed out wrapping my hands around her

"You saw me yesterday, why did you chicken out?" I laughed as we pulled away."What's going on there?" I asked her, referring to those girls who were gathered."Ace and his friends has arrived" Bailey giggled.

I twisted my brows, perplexed by what she said."And...what's that supposed to mean?" I replied and turned back to them and saw nothing but a group of five tall guys walking together, and ignoring the girls calling out and screaming their names."Always handsome" Bailey cooed beside me as she grabbed my eyebrows"Pftt!" I clicked my tongue and looked down to the ground to see an empty bottle of water before me."If you're looking for handsome, come to me... I'll show you" I replied and stomped on the bottle.

Immediately, I heard everyone gasp, including Bailey."Layla!" She exclaimed and covered her mouth with her palms."What?" I asked innocently as I looked up at her. She wasn't looking at me."Who the hell was that!!!" A loud, thick voice was heard.

ACE POV

Before I could say a word, I felt something sudden and wet aside my face, turning to where it came from, I saw a girl standing with her eyes wide and mouth open gawking at me."What...did...you just do??" I yelled out and to my surprise, she did what I hate the most and what no one has ever done to me.
