The man looked at the car making a sign with his hand while Mia trembled, her weakened body indicating that she was going to faint, then two men got out, each with a large suitcase in each hand.

"Mr Oliver says it's a company gift."

The men entered without her permission leaving their bags in the room and as soon as they left the others accompanied them to the car, leaving Mia's heart relieved that it wasn't the government and curious about the bags.

Running towards them and opening the first one, checking that there were several pairs of shoes from brands he didn't know, the other one had many pieces of clothing, two bags of clothes and two bags of shoes. They were such good and expensive things, Mia didn't understand why she had won them, but she wore them with joy "Oliver is such an experienced person with women's measurements" she thought seeing that the shoes were her size as well as the clothes "I don't think she likes to see poorly dressed people around her", trying on several and creating looks for the next day, then surrendering to tiredness taking a shower and sleeping.

Mia woke up earlier, wanted to arrive earlier and take things from the old secretary on her desk and at least put Ava's portrait on the table, she went downstairs excited and dressed in the look she had chosen feeling a power that her money never gave her, holding the heel shoe in her hand, she had no experience with heels so high, she thought about wearing a sneaker until she arrived and putting the heel on later.

"How beautiful you are" said Ava lying among the suitcases "I've never seen you so beautiful".

"Ava, is it necessary to keep crawling around?"

"Yes, that way they will think there is one person in the house and not two".

"How's the head?"

"Great, I spent those days on the street, sleeping in a house is invigorating, never mind, who gave you these things?"

"My boss".

"What boss gives that kind of gift? Speak the truth, the only thief here is me".

"I was promoted and now I have access to that kind of thing" replies Mia, heading to the kitchen with the intention of making a coffee before leaving and taking a snack in her purse "This gift is the certainty that I wasn't fired on my first day in another sector".

"Secretary" replied smiling while giving a cup of coffee on the floor to her sister.

"From secretary, were you promoted to secretary?" The two laughed at the situation.

"Yes, I'm billionaire Oliver's secretary, it seems I was chosen because of character and not school grade and the boss's secretary doesn't wear old clothes."

"Mia is saying these things are original?"

"Yes, inside that purse there must be the value of the house".

"Mia is our chance to disappear, sell these things and we'll leave?"

" Shall we?" asked Mia, dismayed by the promotion, the clothes and all, "I'm fine here Ava, I got promoted and I'm happy, I got these things, I want to stay and live my life".

"But I'm being hunted sister, they're going to kill me".

"Let's solve it, but not that way, things will work out, but now I have to go" .

Mia put the cereal on the floor for her sister to eat, because she knew Ava would crawl all day and not even get up to eat.

Mia understood that she was a person with plans different from Ava's and that Ava's "our" only referred to herself, she didn't want to move once again because of her sister's madness, because even if they didn't live together, the hatred that Ava captivated in people spilled over to Mia and drug dealers or merchants went after her, who always paid the debts and sometimes had to move jobs and towns .

But mia had found a good apartment, she didn't care that the neighborhood was bad, because the price was affordable and the interior of the property was pleasant, she had also worked hard her whole life and now she felt that things would flow in her new job.

Mia left the subway trying to recover the spirit she had felt when she woke up, arrived at the company noticing that everyone was staring at her and headed for the elevator that took her to the penthouse, remembering the luxurious boss's room and thinking about focusing on the new life that she was starting to live, without intending to let go, running to the bathroom and putting on her high heels, leaving her sneakers hidden behind the door.

Taking a deep breath when looking at herself in the huge mirror and seeing how she looked like someone else with that outfit, she was really beautiful with a black dress glued to her body, medium length, a small v-neck, pantyhose and heels . Mia put red lipstick on her lips, tossed her black hair to the side and finally ran to her desk taking the other secretary's old belongings, imagining that at that time the boss would be entering the building, wondering what time he had left last night since the desk was full of piles of paper .

Mia stood up to receive him and thank him for the clothes, she felt in her heart a mixture of feelings, not distinguishing which one dominated at the moment, watching the elevator go up.

Oliver left the elevator with Lucas and a few other people, they seemed to be talking about something important, they also seemed to be in a hurry, passing quickly by her without even saying hello, leaving her alone and awkwardly leaning against her desk for a while, but then sitting down to start her work.

Mia began to observe that the work was to be done in the order they were stacked and so she began to liquidate them. Around ten o'clock in the morning the men who accompanied Oliver left him alone and Mia took the opportunity to enter the room.
