Chapter 6 Fractured Bonds, Promises of Change

My father took me home and locked me in my room. I cried amidst my sheets, unable to understand why my father harbored so much hatred towards wolves. Muffled sobs echoed through the room as I wondered if I would ever be free to follow my heart. Through the window, the full moon shone as a constant reminder of the restrictions imposed upon me. I knew I was destined to live a limited and repressed life, separated from the one I loved. As tears streamed down my face, a silent determination began to form within me.
