Chapter 3 Weird dreams

"HEY! Don't just stand there. Come here and hug me!" says Polo.

Kagome chuckled secretly. Instead of doing what he requested, she just glared at him.

"No."

Polo's shoulder dropped out of disappointment.

"I've wanted to feel your hug for so long, Mahal. Why 'no'?" asked Polo.

Kagome crossed her arms around her chest.

"I saw you helping that human girl. I know it isn't a thing I should be jealous of. But you're helping her with intimacy!" says Kagome, rolling her eyes.

Polo smiled after realizing what she was accusing him of. He knew how jealous Kagome was when it came to women around him. Although it is implausible for Polo to be closer to women, Kagome is still jealous because of her overwhelming love for that human. With this, he knew what to do.

Polo walked towards Kagome and kissed her head.

"Are you jealous of her?" he asked.

Kagome nodded.

"Okay, then I will distance myself from now on. But, you have to understand next time that it's my work. It's part of my work."

Kagome rolled her eyes again.

"What if they're just waiting for us to break up so they could come to you?! No!"

He took a deep breath. Polo let go of Kagome and reached her cheeks using his hands.

"Can't you trust me?" Polo asked.

She smiled secretly.

"Fine. Just don't wander around them all the time if it is unnecessary."

"Of course, I wouldn't do that. What am I? A flirty? I would be flirty if I were around you, my girl. Just please, don't be so jealous. I don't want this relationship to grow in insecurities. Be secured, my love. I'm sure to marry you someday. Let's not become toxic partners to each other, okay?"

Kagome nodded and hugged Polo.

"I'm sorry. I'm full of love, yet I still feel this."

"It's okay. I understand how you feel. Take your time to grow. Don't let negativities eat our relationship."

Kagome smiled.

"You made me realize that I love the right person. I never knew you could give me more, Polo. You just gave me another reason to fight for you."

"Don't fight for me. It's okay if they don't want you to hang out with a human. We're different creatures. They're just afraid."

"Afraid of what? Humans? When we are the ones you should be afraid of? We have all the means to do that. First, our kind doesn't have a planet to go to. You're practically just adapting us! We could just use our power to kill you and steal your planet. It's unreasonable for them not to like you! Second, we could harm you whenever we need to get what we want from you or not."

Polo realizes that Kagome's vexed side is starting to show.

Immediately, he caressed her back.

As he did that, a strange sound suddenly resounded behind Polo.

Kagome took a glimpse of it, but she failed to catch what it was.

"I wonder what it is," says Kagome.

"I don't know either."

After a few minutes...

"You should go home now, Polo."

"Alright, I will just come back again tomorrow."

Before Polo left, Kagome held his hand and kissed its back.

"Remember, I love you."

Polo smiled and grabbed a kiss before leaving.

"WHY are you here?"

"Have you forgotten? Our deal! Our relationship! Don't do this to me, please!"

"How could I not? You're making me do this! It's your fault why I end up being like this! The blame is all yours!"

He bursts into anger, so he takes the glass of water and bottle of wine beside him. He threw it between them, causing her hands to wound deeply.

The scene kept on changing and changing until Mune woke me up through a glass of water.

When I became conscious, I kept on gasping for my breath. It feels like I ran for long hours without a break.

"Are you okay?"

I looked outside my room and around it to check for the humans.

Mune shook his head.

I threw the vase sitting beside me on the floor.

I used my power to unzip Nathan's mouth.

"Happy?" I asked Yna.

She smiled to her ears.

I stormed off outside Amaya's room and went outside of the mansion. But I was surprised to see what was waiting for me.

"You're so gentlemanly for letting me in! Did you just smell a human?" she asked.

I raised my hand, planning to hit her, but again, Yna caught it to stop me.

Did she follow me here?

Yna shook his head. Maybe she's indirectly saying not to hit her.

I rolled my eyes and just nodded.

Hein came back.

But this time, she has a piece of oversized luggage beside her.

"What is this?"

"Have you lost your memory or what? I will live with you for a while."

Aish! Amaya has to be awake at this rate!

I think she's right, Venus wants us to discover something from Hein. But I don't know why it must be this fucking human?!

Nathan crossed his arms against his chest and raised his brow.

I laughed secretly.

"That? He is our pet. We loved wild animals. That's why we're letting you in."

When she became unsure of her decision to live with us, I forcibly took her inside the mansion.

I led the way to the attic and let her in.

That room is full of old toys with specks of dust. So when she came in, she couldn't stop sneezing.

Hein rolled her eyes and stomped her feet while walking inside the attic.

"We'll leave you for now. Take your time to clean it, okay? You have a whole day," Yna said.

Yna advanced to the stairs and went down to the kitchen.

Is she hungry again?

"HEY, WAIT FOR ME!" Nathan shouted and ran.

I was about to run too when I heard Hein uttering some words.

Is she talking to herself?

"This is a lot of work for now, but I will make sure to earn your trust to serve me. Venus? Haha! Believe what you all want to believe. Insult me all you want. I will wait for the right time until- OUCH! This vase!"

What she said was cut by the vase I threw in front of her using my power.

She's more despicable than I thought.

I changed my position to sit, but someone was on top of me.
