Chapter 6 Nothing strange

Roman Frank came to Dar as a lawyer and an international scholar who had been working in Nairobi for a long time in Kenya. He had come to Tanzania at the invitation of his friend, Moses Harrison at the firm of 'Jennings Solicitors to help him with several difficult cases. However, in Nairobi, his grandmother had prepared a wife for him but he was not ready. Since the death of his girlfriend Sarah, he had no plans to have another woman, but his grandmother told him that if he did not marry before the end of the year, then she would disown him and leave him with a curse.

To satisfy his elders, he had to find a woman to marry who would agree with his conditions. God is not Human because Herieth appeared and solved Roman's riddle. Now after showing the marriage certificate to his parents, the pressure would finally ease.

At ten o'clock in the evening, Roman had just opened the case he was dealing with when Moses Harrison, his friend and partner, who is also the boss of the company, entered his office.

"Congratulations! Shall we have dinner with your new wife tonight?" Moses asked touching him on the shoulder.

"It's not that you don't know the real reason why I got married, Moses!" Roman answered him without raising his head, his eyes remained on the writing on the documents.

"You really don't believe in love? I heard that Herieth Jones is very beautiful. Does that mean you don't like her at all?" Moses was filled with curiosity regarding this discussion.

Roman lowered himself into the swivel office chair as he surveyed his friend's words with curious eyes. Roman stopped what he was doing for a second. He remembered the girl's glowing complexion and her face which was as beautiful as a blossom. However, his shameless demeanour disgusted him.

"So you have decided to marry this girl as soon as possible to stop the efforts of your grandmother who wants you to grow strong by that rich woman?" Moses asked.

Romana answered several seconds later, "I think you know me well Moses. If you leave Sarah who loved me with all her heart, I don't trust women. most of them come to me because of my status. If I had a problem with a wife, I would have been married many days ago. But this girl has appeared at the right time. I don't like to argue with Mrs Frank all the time because of getting married. After three years things will have cooled down, I will divorce her and move on with my affairs.

They continued this issue for a little longer, and then Moses changed the topic by giving suggestions. "Do me a favour, I'd like to have dinner with some of the firm's lawyers tonight."

"Hmm," Roman replied. Then his phone rang with the sound of a text message. He picked up his phone to see a text coming in from someone called 'RmnHerieth'.

[😍hello Hubby, this is Herieth.💕💕]

Roman didn't know what to answer. He narrowed his eyes at the intensity of the phone's light and accepted the message request.

[💞Husband, will you come home in the evening for dinner?🍉🍔🌭] Herieth sent another message within seconds.

Roman: [No. Don't do that.]

RmnHerieth : [Alright then, I'll call you RmnHerieth. It's a beautiful name.😍😍]

Roman didn't know what else to say.

Later that night, a group of people enjoyed dinner at a popular and attractive place in the centre of Dar es Salaam, 'City Restaurant'. The group of lawyers from the 'Jennings Solicitors company exchanged views on the conduct of new cases recently taken by the law firm. Roman listened while his mind was far away. Suddenly he heard a message on his phone again.

Herieth sent him a photo. Under the light of soft yellow lights appeared his cat Manu. He was enjoying a meal of a small piece of dried moussaka.

A message from Herieth, who decided to call herself RmnHerieth, read like this.

RmnHerieth : [💕💕Hubby, don't worry about us. I take good care of little Manu.🐯]

Roman sighed sadly. The greedy cat was bribed and captured very smoothly...

At half past three in the night, a code was entered on the door at Roman's house. As soon as he opened the door and set foot inside his house Roman was stunned. It was his house but he thought he was lost because it was not as he left it when he left in the morning. It had undergone a major overhaul. The black couch was decorated with peacock blue cushions. The white dining table was covered with a green cloth. A glass vase filled with roses sat calmly on top of it. The whole house was decorated with green plants and fresh flowers. Little Roman got lost in his own house!

He looked around in surprise until Herieth startled him.

"Roman, you are home, why are you so surprised?" Herieth asked coming out of the guest room wearing a long-sleeved silk gown. Her thick, long, jet-black hair spilt over her shoulders. Beneath the hem of her gown were her lovely and slender legs. She looked attractive as if it were something intended for Roman.

Roman's eyes were confused. "Who let you wear that in my house?" The furrows on his forehead creased as he spoke harshly to emphasize his displeasure.

"Why? What's wrong with it?" Herieth walked around indifferently. "My chest, stomach and buttocks are well covered. Only my knees and feet are exposed, where is the problem? Many beautiful girls come out on the streets wearing even less than this. However, I am inside and you are my husband, even if I were naked in front of you, there is nothing strange." Herieth answered him gently with a calm smile.

Roman didn't know where to look. Indeed, she was not only wearing revealing clothes, but she was also not wearing anything inside the silk gown.

Roman averted his eyes and changed the subject. "I agreed to let you into this house, but I didn't give you permission to change anything in my house."
