Chapter 3 Scaredycat

"OMG", Ria yelled and the cup of tea in her hands fell and shattered onto the floor making the duo who were kissing regains their senses.

"No,no, continue".

"We won't tell anyone".

"Ahhhhhhh", Lucy yelled and immediately got off him."you.. you", she stammered pointing at Nathaniel accusingly, blushing heavily,

"Damn, she tastes so sweet, even her scent is heavenly". Nathaniel was lost in thought staring at her cherry lips and Lucy had to flick his forehead.

"Hey, what's with that look, weren't you jealous that I was too close to your friends, so you followed me here to teach me a lesson and now you're like this.wifey don't be angry, I won't even touch or look at any female again,I'm a yours,my love". Nathaniel said innocently.

It was Lucy's time to be shocked.

"What.. what are you say..".

"Please help me to plead, she's still mad at me", Nathaniel interrupted, facing the three girls who were standing by the door with a lost expression.

"Don't be annoyed, Lucy, it's all our fault, forgive him please ',ria pleaded

"So it's like this, I didn't know you're the dominant type "Ava whispered teasingly.

"Hey,so you guys actually believe him,I don't e..'.

"Calm down, don't be annoyed".mia said.

They actually believe him, hehehe, Nathaniel you're in for trouble ". she thought glaring at Nathaniel who was sitting comfortably on the sofa with a satisfied expression.

Later in the evening, the girls left.

"Lucy,go and get the fruits and vegetables from the store". granny called out.

"Ah, granny my arms and legs are hurting so badly,I was hurt when I fell down yesterday, and now it hurts so badly,ouch". Lucy winced in pain.

"Nevermind baby, you're responsible for showing Nathaniel the way and he'll carry the stuffs, it's all his fault that you're hurt"Mrs Lennon replied and Nathaniel who was sipping on his coffee spat it out immediately.

"Mum, what did you say?".

"You heard your mom clearly,now get up",Mr Lennon said.

"But dad,I have to work on my next piece soon,it's very ur...".

"Will you shut up and stop being a disgrace,art and design, that's just a childish stuff, everybody's studying business and other important courses and yet my own son is such a disgrace,if this continues,I'll surely disown you".Mr Lennon yelled and Nathaniel walked out angrily.

"He seems to be in a bad mood, this is all my fault", Lucy thought as they made their way to the store.

"Hey", she tried to touch him.

"Don't get near me",he cut her off rudely walking ahead of her."which is the way,left or right?".

"Hmmph, weren't you walking ahead of me, you must surely know the way then,go ahead". she scoffed.

"I'll go back then",he turned around.

"Of course, you're free to,you'll surely be chastised again by your father". Lucy stood with arms akimbo, frowning at him.

"As if am afraid of him,am not a puppet,am a human being,he has no right to dictate for me and I have every rights to pursue my dreams",he replied stubbornly.

"It's okay for him to feel that way, afterall you're his only child,his heir",Lucy smiled.

"Who wants to be his heir, anyways you're his daughter now, you can be his heir if you're interested",he patted her head.

"Of course not, my wish is to open the most famous bakery and restaurants but too b..".

"Too bad you can't cook anything properly", Nathaniel laughed interrupting her.

"You",she hit his shoulder."I'll learn if am just a little bit serious,I believe I can do it".

"You can watch online tutorials, go to class, that will surely help". Nathaniel suggested.

"At least, you're not rude and grumpy today",Lucy plucked an apple from the tree on the way

"You're the one who's always boisterous, noisy and violent", Nathaniel followed her as she lead the way.

"Eh, you're clearly the violent one, since the first day we've met, you stared picking on me". she scoffed.

"That's because y..".

"Say no more", Lucy interrupted stuffing the half eaten apple into his mouth."I haven't even taken revenge for what you did th is morning, take this as a prelude".

"You", Nathaniel spat it out immediately."plucking a fruit on just any tree".

"What do you know", she pouted.

Just then a dog passed by, seeing her shivering and holding her breath as the dog passed by,he could figure out that she was scared of dog.

He smirked and brought out a little moulded dog figure.it was given to him by a friend, though it's a moulded figure,it can bark.

Immediately she heard the sound, she was terrified, she quickly latched onto him, hiding behind his back.

"Did you hear that, did you, it's another dog". she said holding his clothes tightly in fear.

"Don't tell me you're scared of dogs"Nathaniel laughed and pushed her away, she fell on her butt and stood up immediately latching onto him again in fear.

"Scaredycat,So Miss fiesty is actually scared of dogs,I'll surely remember this scene for the rest of my life", Nathaniel teased laughing nonstop.

"Uhh, the sound is coming from you", she said listening carefully and Nathaniel stiffened.

"So there's no dog, it's you", she yelled snatching the dog figure from him.
