Chapter 2 Two Can Play The Game

"Bully", Mrs Lennon pointed at him disappointedly.

"She had really forced me to a corner, there's no way I could redeem myself",he thought.

"No mom,he didn't bully me,I was at fault", Lucy cried shaking her head and looking more pitiful completely gaining others sympathy.

"Fvck,when did the mom stuff begin, this girl really knows how to garner sympathy",he was going crazy.

Everybody seems to have believed her except granny who looked at her doubtfully, shaking her head subtly.

"Why are you supporting him, look at you, so generous and kind-hearted, sorry my baby ", Mrs Lennon smiled patting Lucy's hair lovingly as they walked towards the living room.

Lucy looked back to see Nathaniel standing there dumbfounded,she winked at him before giving him the middle finger, mouthing the words"fvck you ".

"Alright, alright, you won for now, the one who laughs last laugh the best, we'll see the winner ",he stomped his feets on the floor angrily as soon as they were all out of sight.

The next day, the news spread that Lucy had a handsome male guest.

Lucy three friends gathered outside the house, they all wanted to see the handsome guy.

"Ever since I've seen his sideview from the window this morning,I haven't been myself,ohhhhh,am in love with him", one of Lucy's friend Ria said dramatically touching her chest.

"Yes, let us see him, bring him out", Mia another said.

"Don't let us die of suspence", Ava the last one said.

"Duhhh,he isn't even that handsome, beauty without brain is useless,I'll rate him ten out of hundred", Lucy rolled her eyes dramatically munching on her grapes with no care in the world.

"No, you're lying about this, you just don't want us to covet him,I clearly saw him this morning,he is just like a prince charming,even Leo cannot hold a candle to him", Ria protests.

"Just a look ".

"Just a look ", they chorused.

"Alright, alright, his looks are just so.so,so don't be annoyed if he isn't as handsome as you thought.

"Who's looks is so.so", Nathaniel scoffed inside the room eavesdropping on their conversation.

He stands before the mirror, styling his hair,he unbottened three buttons on his shirt trying to look as seductive as he could,the sight of his honey tanned skin alone was tempting.satisfied with himself,he sits on the sofa, crossed his legs comfortably and picked up the newspaper on the table, holding a cup of tea in his other hand.

"Ah,how could I forget you",he laughed and brought out his spectacles and wore it smiling at himself.

Lucy opened the door slowly as the girls held their breath.

As soon as they saw the prince charming on the sofa, the girls were stunned, even Lucy couldn't help but staring at him infatuatedly.

"You should really stop drooling",he winked at Lucy who jolted out of her thought and wiped her lips embarrassingly only to find nothing.

"How dare you trick me, you idiot",she rolled her eyes bashfully.

"OMG,is he even human".

"Can I touch him".

"He is definitely a prince charming".

The three girls mumbled infatuatedly and they suddenly jumped on him making him fall on the sofa and he hissed loudly and they immediately got off him.

"Am Ria, this is Ava and this is Mia,we are all Lucy's friend, nice meeting you Mr, you're just so gorgeous".

"Lucy, you sure know how to keep good things to yourself". Ava said

"Sir,let me pour you another cup of tea".

"Sir, let me give you a thorough massage".

"Am best at cooking,let me cook a dish for you"

The three ladies fawned excitedly and Lucy could only shake her head.

"What an embarrassment".

"Goodness,am so done for, these ladies are something else, can't they be ladylike, how do I escape from this now",he thought .

"Hello, hello",he brought out his cellphone feigning a call as he escaped from the ladies clutch and Into the room.

"Is he mad at us?".

"Did we annoy him?".

"Quickly, help us plead with him?".

The three ladies asked.

"Hmmph, do you think you're safe, even if you run to the end of the world,I'll bring you out, you think you're wise"Lucy smiled.

"Of course, follow me, let's go to him".she said and the three ladies followed her to the room,"I'll go in first".

"Alright".

"If you quickly apologize,I'll help you chase them away", Lucy bragged pointing at Nathaniel who was standing by the window side.

"And if I don't",he replied stubbornly.

Hehehe, just take a guess, girls come inside".

"You",he was surprised."I won't be fooled by you up again".he said and immediately he pressed himself on her on the sofa and started kissing her,he turned and made her lay on top of him.

"Uhhhhh, she was lost in his handsome face and couldn't even protest but instead she grabbed him tightly and reciprocate his kisses.

"Two can play the game baby girl",he scoffed

This was the scene the ladies see as soon as they entered,they gasp in surprise, looking at the duo on the sofa in awe.

"OMG", Ria yelled the cup of tea in her hands fell and shattered onto the floor making the duo who were kissing regains their senses.
