Chapter 4 Don't Forget The Divorce Procedures

Adrian was in Bliss, drinking with a group of friends. He saw Stella enter a private room with two men and finally come out after a long time. He became suspicious, wondering what dirty things they did inside. And when he saw them talking and laughing happily while walking, he flew into a rage and threw the bottle in his hand to Stella.

Wesley rolled up his sleeves and was about to walk up to Adrian. "Hey, you brat! Do you want to be beaten?"

But Stella stopped him and said, "Let me handle this."

She then walked up to Adrian step by step.

Adrian snapped, "What? The bottle didn't hit you, right?"

Stella looked at him with an expressionless face and chilling calm eyes. "There's something I have been wanting to tell you for a long time."

"What is it?"

"Do you even know how annoying you are? I was married to your brother for six years, but you never respected me. You always ordered me around. What is the use of the years of education you have received?"

When he heard her scolding him, Adrian frowned. "You-"

"Shut up!" Stella cut him off. "Your brother and I have signed the divorce papers, and I have nothing to do with your family anymore. I now have the freedom to be with anyone. You have no right to interfere. If you continue to provoke me, I will call the police."

Adrian's face flushed. All the harsh words he wanted to say were stuck in his throat.

Stella just ignored him and left.

After saying goodbye to Wesley and Kenneth, Stella returned to her father's house.

The house had not been cleaned for a long time, and it was now covered with dust.

Stella found an apron, put it on, and began to clean up.

She saw a photo under the sofa. It was her and Waylon's wedding photo. In the photo, she smiled brightly, while Waylon had a cold face, showing strong impatience.

Next to it was a notebook.

It was a record of what Waylon liked to eat, the things he used, his hobbies, and other things related to him.

She gave all her attention to Waylon and tried her best to make their marriage work. But the reality smashed all her beautiful dreams about him.

Tears welled up in Stella's eyes. But she raised her head and forced herself to hold them back.

Suddenly, her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. She picked it up and checked. It was a message from Kenneth.

"Stella, you helped me six years ago, so it's my turn to help you now. Just do whatever you want. Don't worry. I've got your back."

This message sent warmth to her heart.

Although Kenneth sincerely wanted to repay Stella's kindness back then, she didn't want to rely on anyone. Since she married Waylon, she restrained all her temper to be a good wife to him. She almost forgot how sophisticated she was in the past.

After thinking for a while, Stella dialed a number.

"What do you want this time, Stella?" Waylon's indifferent voice came from the other end of the line.

Her voice was also cold when she answered. It was as if he was a stranger to her. "Tomorrow is Monday. Don't forget to complete the divorce procedures."

Waylon frowned. "You..."

But before he could say anything, she hung up. All he could do was hold his phone tightly. His eyes darkened.

"Waylon, who was it?" Ayla lay in the bed in the bedroom, and she looked at Waylon in confusion.

Waylon put his phone away, walked over as if nothing had happened, and tucked her in. "It's nothing. It's time for your potion."

Ayla's face was still pale, making Waylon feel sorry for her. She held his hand and pouted pitifully. "The potion is too bitter. The taste makes me uncomfortable."

Waylon raised his eyebrows. "I remember when we were pen friends, you said you were not afraid of bitter potion, right? Be good. You must take your potion so you'll recover quickly."

He just said it casually, and he did not notice that Ayla looked somewhat guilty.

Soon, she raised her head, showing her watery eyes. She looked at him and said, "Okay."

Ayla had been in a coma for six years, so she was thin now, and her face was pale. Her mental state was still the same as it was six years ago.

Looking at her made Waylon feel sorry for her. "I'll ask Tristan to change the potion with pills next time."

Ayla smiled sweetly and held his arm, acting like a spoiled child. "Waylon, you are the best!"

Waylon then left the bedroom and went downstairs. He happened to meet Zoey with a bowl of soup. She asked, "Is Ayla feeling better?"

He nodded. "She has just taken her potion. She's talking on the phone with her parents now."

Zoey smiled and said, "Waylon, Ayla's father is the CEO of Horizon Group. He is kind enough to agree that you and Ayla get married and that she stays in our house. We can't neglect her."

Seeing how much Zoey cared about Ayla, Waylon suddenly remembered when Stella caught a cold and got sick last year.

Instead of taking care of Stella, Zoey lost her temper and smashed things in the living room. Stella had no choice but to drag her sick body to the kitchen to cook.

At the thought of this, Waylon had mixed feelings.

Stella had hit Ayla with her car and taken advantage of Ayla's situation to marry him. She was scheming, so she only deserved to be treated like this.

At this moment, the door was pushed open violently with a bang. Then Adrian walked in with a long face. He was obviously angry.

"Adrian, what's wrong?" Zoey quickly put down her fork and approached him to check on him.

Adrian shook off her hand and said, "I'm fine, Mom."

Then he looked at Waylon and said hesitantly, "Waylon, I saw Stella in the bar today. She was very intimate with a male model, and they must have a special relationship."
