Chapter 5 THE MISSION

(The princess and Damien set out with the maids and guard to the the garden, Princess Kyung and Damien board one car, while the guards and the maids took another car and trail behind them, The princess insist on driving, immediately they are out of the palace and began their journey to the garden, through out the journey none of them bring up conversation, each person with self thought, the princess is busy smirking whem driving which Damien did not fail to notice, he kept wondering what's going on in the princess mind, he decided to shrug it off that what so ever she has in mind was none of his business... Soon they reach a junction where the princess bring the car to an halt and ask them to come down)

PRINCESS KYUNG; This is where we're going to alight, we have to trek down to the garden from here

DAMIEN; Okay, what about the maids and guards?

PRINCESS KYUNG; They have to stay here till we're back, it's my secret garden, so the can't follow us

DAMIEN; Really? Why's the garden a secret one?

PRINCESS KYUNG; You'll find out when we got there, it's getting late, let's start going ( after giving the guards and maids order to stay, they proceed into the forest part, the princess keep working and Damien follows, soon they got to the garden, the garden was really a beautiful place with calm atmosphere and it's full of the herbs they came for, go over there and pluck as much as you want, I have something to attends to( she turn and move to another part of the garden) as Damien movers towards the herb to pluck it, he suddenly hear a barking of a dog, he was about to shrug it off that maybe he's hallucinating when he heard the sound again, turning back he say a huge dog that looks like a wolf running from afar towards him, immediately he sees this, he took to his heels calling for help, if there's one thing that he's afraid of it's dog, as he was running he remember his last encounter with dog

Five years old Damien was on vacation with his parents, and they decided to come to Korean for the vacation, One day he went sight seeing with his nanny and they come across a garden, Little Damien decided to have a view of the beautiful garden, as he was busy admiring the garden, a dog came out of nowhere and started werechasing him with full speed Little Damien was so afraid as he started calling his nanny for help, his nanny came running with stick in her hand to chase the dog away but as she's trying to scare of the dog from Damien, the dog pounce on her but the nanny was able to fight it back with her strength, but she started to get weak due to the several now from the dog and she's bleeding, but before the dog would overpower her, the guards have come to her rescue and was rushed to the hospital, she's in coma for several months and Damien always cried for putting her in such condition, ever since then, he's vow never to come in contact with dog again)

Damien keep running around the garden calling for help, the princess was seen at a corner laughing her heart out, she intentionally loose the dog from it's cage, it's my pay back for humiliating me today, she kept watching as Damien keep shouting for help, when she see how scare Damien look, it make her to remember that young boy of the past that enter her garden and her dog started chasing him, she's about to come to help when she saw the guards taking her dog away, and since then she's been putting her dog in cage, she comes out and started laughing, when Damien saw her, he started running towards her for help but when she see the smirk on her face, he already knows that she's the one behind the dog, but he's not bothered about that for now, he needs her help to calm the dog first, he quickly hide behind the princess begging her to rescue him, seeing the pitiful look on his face, she called the dog name and immediately the dog heard her voice, it calm down and went back to his cage, it's only after the cage was locked that Damien breathe out in relief

PRINCESS KYUNG; Did you enjoy that little exercise? She asked smirking

DAMIEN; So it's you? Why will you do that and call that little exercise?

PRINCESS KYUNG; you're asking me why I do that? When you're humiliating me in front of my maids, so you think I can just sit down and watch you humiliating me?

DAMIEN; I'm only trying to correct you to be treating your maids better?

PRINCESS KYUNG; And who are you to correct me? What you experienced today's just a tip of an ice berg, when next you poke nose into my affairs, you'll regret coming to Seoul..Pick what you want to pick I'll be waiting for you outside, she turn and move out of the garden without sparing Damien a look

DAMIEN POV

I was so shocked knowing all this comply is just a facade, I thought she's really changed never knew she's so wicked, well seems, I have to stay clear of her way, but I can't continue watching her treating the maids like that, I know what to do, he picked the herb as much as he needed and exit the garden

Outside the garden, the maids were seeing discussing

KENZIE; I'm wondering what's taking them long

KIRA; Don't you think something is fishy about the princess attitude? How can she be so gentle with Mr Damien?

KENZIE; I'm sure she's something under her sleeve for him, she's so wicked, if not for the fact that I'm keeping money for my school fees, I would have resigned

KIRA; I am also fed up with her behavior, but we've no choice, we all have the reason for staying here, God will help us, so that we can forget this place..... As they are talking, they saw the princess emerging from the forest alone without Damien, both of them exchange I told you look, but no one dare to say anything out, not long after, the princess enter the car waiting for Damien with triumphant smile on her face, finally Damien also come out of the garden looking stressed, he didn't bother to say anything to the Princess, he enter the car and the princess zoom off.........

THE NEXT DAY

The physician, Damien and Princess set out for the conference with guards and maids, Damien has already prepared solution for the plague, on getting to their destination, they were warmly welcome and lodge to a very exotic hotel, the conference was to begin the following day, so they have the day off to enjoy themselves, the princess decided to went for sightseeing and took the maids along with her, Immediately the Princess left, Damien came out of his room smiling...

DAMIEN; It's seem luck is on my side, I need to give you some taste of your medicine, next time you won't dare to mess with me, he enter the Princess room and went straight to her bathroom, he come out of the bathroom looking satisfied, he carefully locked the door and went to his room to relaxed.

In a small house at the outskirt of Seoul, a woman was seen trying to lift a bowl but due to her sickness, she's not able to do so, after trying it for many more times without a success, she decided to go and called someone to come and help her, but as she step out she saw a car parked at the front of her house, as she's wondering what such luxurious car doing in front of her house, a young man alighted from the car and started walking towards her, she's shocked and scare, she quickly turn trying to go back inside, but the young man voice stopped her from going further, Please wait, don't run away I'm here to help you, the young man said, as the woman heard this she turn to him asking who he was and why did he want to help her, the young man answer her, I've heard about your sickness and I'm ready to take you to the hospital for treatment and also take care of you, who are you? How did you know about my sickness because ever since I don't bother people with my problem, it's only I and my daughter, My name is Flash ma, I'm your daughter's friend, she's discuss alot about you to me and I'm here to help you, so please don't turn me down, he begged, My daughter? You mean my daughter told you about me? Where's she? Did she come with you? Ever since she started working at the palace she's never visited her old mother, she lamented looking past Flash should probably to catch glimpse of her daughter, but she's so disappointed when she saw no one, She didn't come with me ma, she want you to be okay before she visit you flash replied her, no I'm not going, I don't believe you, why will you come all of a sudden telling me that my daughter sent you to me, I can sense that you're evil, leave my house and don't ever come here again, she turns to enter but immediately Flash hit her at the back of her neck in which she immediately went unconscious, I'm sorry ma, I need to do this because your treatment needs to be taken care of, or else it will be too late, he said as he carried the unconscious woman into his car and zoom off...

PRINCESS KYUNG POV

I was really enjoying my sightseeing, this place is really nice, I keep taking different pics so as to post online, I can see that the maids are already tired but I careless, that's what they have been paid for, so they dare not express their discomfort infront of me, after some hours I decided to head back to where we lodge, on getting there I met Damien also coming in, he's busy discussing what I don't know with a girl beside him and totally ignore me, I was so angry and I decided to take it out on the girl, Hey kiddo, don't you see me? I asked the girl, the girl looks up and smile, are you someone important for me to see? She asked feigning innocent? How dare you asked me that question do you know whom I am? I yelled at her? Who wouldn't know the arrogant princess of our kingdom she replied, I turned to Damien Who's kept mute since, and you're standing there allowing her to insult me? Princess, you started it first, and the last time I checked you already told me to stay clear of your path, so that's what I'm doing, and I hope you also stay clear off my path, he said before turning to the girl, pleaseeee make sure you take good care of mom for me and let her know that I'm very okay and comfortable here, he pecked the girl's forehead as she turns to leave, she face me and said, next time, learn how to behave in public so that people won't see you as lunatic, she smirked and left, I was so speechless that I stood rigid on the spot not able to move, Damien just looked at me, shake his head and enter his room which was beside mine, I finally lift my leg and rushed to my room, this was the second time that I'm embarrassed by someone, I was so angry but I've to control my anger because of our mission here, after a while, I enter the bathroom to have a bath, I was so lost in thought, but all of a sudden I felt a movement at my feet, and a rat climb on my laps, I gave a very loud scream calling for help, I'm really scared of rat and the rat seems to be catching fun with me moving from one lap to the other, I kept screaming trying to throw the rat off but I can't even touch it, I started calling for help hoping Damien will hear my scream and come to my help, Fortunately I heard the door open, and I'm certain it was Damien, I started begging him to enter the bathroom and help me, Please help me, come inside and kill this rat, I plead, So you mean you're screaming loudly like this just because of little rat? Damien replied, I'm scared of rat, please help me, I'll never look down on you or anybody again, I promised, but you know I can't enter there, you're naked and I guess you won't want to loose your dignity, Damien taunt, forget about dignity, just help me please, I cried, okay, closed your eyes and it'll be gone, Is Damien crazy? I should closed my eyes and the rat will just disappeared like that, but at this moment I don't have a choice than to do what she said, the next thing I heard is a click and Damien asked me to open my eyes, I slowly open my eyes and to my surprise, there's no rat again, I can't believe that the future empress is scared of ordinary rat, anyway there's no rat, it's just a toy for teaching someone like you lesson, so keep your promise amd don't you ever look down on people again, I heard Damien saying, the next thing I heard is the sound of the door which signify that he's out of my room, I quickly run out of the bathroom and locked the door, so what I'm scared of what's just a toy, should I call that a payback?????

At the central hospital, the doctors were seen in the theatre room operating on a woman, after three hours, the operation was concluded and the chief medical come out to meet the young man waiting at the reception, and the young man turns to be Flash, The woman was a fighter, the operation was a success and she'll be awake in the next six hours the doctor informed, thank you so much doctor, the doctor smile and left, immediately Flash bring out his phone and make a call

📞📞 Boss it's done, it was a successful one

☎️☎️ Good, make sure you do all I order you

📞📞Copy that boss, the call ended and he return the phone into his suit pocket before leaving the hospital............
