I was so shocked when the Emperor mention the Princess following us, but it seems the Emperor noticed my inconvenience with the mention of the princess

EMPEROR; You don't have anything to be scared of, the princess was a lovely lady to be with and you'll really enjoy her company

ME; (inwardly) a lovely lady indeed after getting slapped by her..... okay your highness as it pleases you

EMPEROR; ( tell the guard to called the princess to his presence) Tell the princess to meet me here at once ( the guard now and exit)

I was going through the comments on the picture that I post yesterday and I was smiling while reading the comments

🧑 And she's also lucky, to be an only child, I mean the future empress

🧒 But to think she's still single at her age, it's somehow weird, I think something is fishy about her

Reading the last comment somehow pissed me off, such an ugly bull want to be my husband, well, I've never seen any man good enough to be my man, , I stood up and sashay round the room, I stood in front of my huge mirror twirling around, wow, I'm really pretty with a nice curve and cleavage, and anywhere I am I'm always the center of attention that even most of my age mate admire me, some even envy me but I don't give a damn, I'm the 🤴, and I can do whatever I like, I was in this thought when I heard a knock on the door, I frown and went to the door to check who's disturbing my moments of fantasy, I open the door to see one of the guards there

KYUNG; What are you doing here??

GUARD; His highness needs your presence at the palace

KYUNG; Okay, I'll be there( the guard bow and left), I quickly dressed up to meet father, let me tell you a secret, Appa is the one I love most in this world and he also loves me and always give me whatever I want, he always want me to be good and humble like him, but I guess that's what always cause issues btw us, nonetheless he still love me😍😍

I move out of my chamber with three of my maid trailing behind me, thou they kept their distance cos that's my rule, I won't want them to touch me with their filthy hands, I enter the palace and I met the father sitting on his throne, I also noticed the physician with him, but my eyes suddenly caught the sight of the stupid guy I slapped earlier, but immediately our eyes met, he quickly looked away, seems like he's learnt his lesson, I smirked and kowtow to father to greet him, Father I'm here, I was told you need my presence

EMPEROR; Yes my daughter, but can't you greet the people you met here?

KYUNG; Appa, I'm a princess you don't expect me to be greeting them, they are the one to greet me

EMPEROR; When will you stop all this your attitude, you're to learn how to respect people if you want people to love and respect you

KYUNG; Appa(forming puppy face) no need for them to love me, once you love me I'm okay with that

EMPEROR;( sighed)hmmm, just learn to change your behavior, anyway I called you here to inform you that I have a conference to attend but I'm quite busy so, you'll be accompany the physician and Damien to attend the conference

KYUNG; Appa, who's Damien? I asked

EMPEROR; This is him, he said pointing to the guy I slapped earlier

KYUNG; I was so shocked, but I quickly smile to conceal it, but who's him Appa, and why choosing him, why don't you choose one of the advicers

EMPEROR; Damien here's a medical doctor and he's here from the UK to help us in searching for solution to the plague that's killing our people, you know the physician and our doctors here has tried their best to look for solution but it's not easy for them, that's why I sent for him cos I've heard a lot about his success in this medical line and I hope he can help us to find a solution, and the conference is about the plague so, he and the physician are in the best position to attend, but I also want you to follow them to signify my presence

KYUNG; Okay father, I'll not disappoint you

EMPEROR; That's my baby, Damien this is my one and only daughter, the future empress of this kingdom

DAMIEN; Nice meeting you princess, I hope we can work together to achieve this purpose, he said stressing his hand for handshake

KYUNG; ( I don't want father to scold me again, I received his hand) Same here Mr Damien, I said has I deep my nail into his soft palm to hurt him, he winced in pain but tried covering it with smile as he sit back, wow, seem I really need to show this guy whom I am, it's like he's now getting my father attention, the conference with him will really be fun, I said inwardly as I smirked......

I left the palace heading to my chamber to prepare for the conference which will commence tomorrow and I will need to prepare myself so as not to disappoint father, but that Damien or whatever he's called, I don't like him cos he's already having Father's attention which supposed to meant for me alone, I have to get a way to send him out of here back to where he came from, and I've already have a perfect plan, and this conference will be the best to eliminate my plan without any suspicion.....

UNKNOWN POV

In another country a lady could be seen sitting majestically surrounded by some guards

LADY; ( to her guards) Flash, how about the mission I have you, where you able to track the woman

FLASH; Boss, I've made some investigation about the woman JUNGYI, but I learnt that immediately after she collected the money given to her, she dropped your daughter in the forest and fled out of the country, up till now her location is still unknown

LADY; (Visibly angry) You mean that stupid ingrate drop daughter in the forest and fled?????

FLAS; Yes boss

LADY; How dare her, I gave her money to be able to cater for herself and my daughter, she still betrayed me and drop my daughter in the forest and fled????

FLASH; Yes boss

LADY; And how about my daughter is she dead or alive?

FLASH; That's the good news boss, I learnt that a poor couple found her where she was dropped and she was carried and taken care of by them

LADY;( breathe out in relief) good, so how's she doing now

FLASH; The husband has died and the wife has been bedridden since then, so has a filial daughter, she decided to work in the palace as a maid so has to help her sick mother, so presently she's working as a maid in the palace of Emperor Kang of Seoul

LADY; EMPEROR KANG????? NOO, it can't be, my daughter can't be working there, no it can't be possible, she doesn't belong to there

FLASH; Boss, hope no problem? Is there something else that we don't know? We've been with you for a while, is there anything hidden?

LADY; ( to the rest of the guards) Spider take the rest of the guard and look for this lady, I want her here alive, cleared???

SPIDER; Yes boss, I won't disappoint you

LADY; You are all dismissed ( the guards now and left leaving her alone with her thought) YUNGYI get ready to what's coming to you, you won't expect it......

DAMIEN POV

I was making research about the mission that I'm about to embark on, the plague is somehow weird cos I've never come across something like this before, but I don't want to disappoint those that trust me, so I decided to do my best to provide a solution, it took me five hours to get a solution, but the solution will need a herb, and the herb is a very rare one to find, I decided to ask one of the guard assigned to me about the herb, Leeho, did you know where I can get this herb? I asked showing him the pictures on my phone

LEEHO; This is a very rare herb, so hard to find, but I know someone that do plant the herb in her garden

DAMIEN; really? Who's the person?

LEEHO; It's princess

DAMIEN; Which princess?

LEEHO; PRINCESS KANG KYUNG..............
