Chapter 7 The essential target

Wake up someone is here to see you, you can sleep for months without complaining I pity you, better wake up Benedict said jokingly taping Scandious back.

" Can't I sleep peacefully again? he questioned immediately?, why not tell him to come back am sleeping as you see Scandious muttered closing his eyes.

Get up from that bed Benedith said shaking his body.

He hissed getting up from his bed.

He heads straight to the sitting room with Benedith following him at the back.

Where is the person he asked climbing down the stairs, reaching there, they didn't see anybody. Where is the person who's looking for me he asked for the second time. Looking around the sitting room he discovered nobody is there.

Somebody was here when I left to call you, I can clearly remember is at this particular cushion he was sitting she said pointing at the exact place.

I can see you wanted to disturb my sleep which you have succeeded Scandious said heading back to his room.

"Am sure of what am saying she shouted following him back to his room.

Should I tell Daddy she asked herself?, that won't be necessary she shook her head negatively, am sure he will also not believe me as Scandaious did.

But am sure I left him in the to call Scandious which he even told me to be fast about it,

Does that mean the person came for a mission? it must be dangerous if it is.

Benedict kept trying to convince her family about the guy who visited them but suddenly left without any information. It was hard before they could bring themselves to believe her.

She knows this rule is not going to be easy, she likes leaving the doors unlock for free entry, as if her father knows he informed her earlier before it become late.

As expected, he is to inform the King concerning the place he was sent to investigate. Being the one he trusted, the king send him on the mission knowing he can handle it. On his way back home, he meet who he wasn't expecting to see in life.

They walked to the inner chamber which is known as the secret passage of the palace. You can go ahead the king requested anxiously.

"I saw the dead prince today he said his head bowed.

"What?!"

The king shouted, how can you see someone who died years ago? Maybe is a ghost you saw he stated not ready to believe him.

Thaius insisted, saying he was sure is the crown prince. Seeing how serious he is, the King became quiet staring at him. I thought you deserve to know as the parents before any other person, which is why I came to you Thaius added.

That's a wise and good idea, I want you to secretly guild him and if you need my help, please don't hesitate to tell me the king said after thinking about it. "

"Thank you, my king, am grateful to have you as my king, I promise to do my best for his safety, and please, be careful in this palace I have this feeling that something is going on, trust no one and be at alert Thaius informed the king".

At the palace, the Queen is sitting in the garden waiting for her visitor.

"Quietly he walked in".

Excuse us the queen told her maid, yes my queen she replied and walked out giving them privacy.

I didn't see his face, according to my observation he survived but kept it hidden he replied, then how sure are you he's the one the Queen asked not ready to believe the Crown Prince is alive.

The Queen contacted her accomplice who assured her he will send more warriors to assist the high-killer.

Getting assurance From him didn't stop the Queen from thinking about how to eliminate him if he will die this time, these thoughts occupied her mind.

"Will it be successful she asked panicking".

"Why can't he die once and for all she said feeling frustrated".

Calm down, it will go as planned her son tried to make her understand, father is not aware of it and you're here killing yourself over it, don't worry I will be the king nobody is taking it from me.

"My coronation will soon take place, then you will rule as it pleases you".

Am busy the king replied dismissing his son. But you're not doing anything his son stated.

Don't talk back at me, am I still your father or I will be forced to punish you the king fired back with authority.

Knowing his father (King) as a man of his word he stopped immediately.

Forgive me, Father, he apologize, I wanted to be left alonthatat was all the King could utter, I will be back when You're free, I can see you're not in a good mood he said before walking away.

At night, the queen dressed sexy, she sprayed her perfume which has a good fragrance on the nightgown she wearing.

Gently, she knocked at the door before she catwalk in.

My queen what brought you here the king asked surprised at seeing her.

Can't I see my king anymore the Queen? I want to spend this night with you, don't you like it she asked staring at him seductively.

"I love it my 'beautiful Queen', come here the king said taping a space for her to occupy on the bed which she did by climbing the bed.

My king, when is our son's coronation ?, you know it has been years since the Crown Prince died, I know is not easy to forget about him, but the past is the past, we have to focus on the future.

The palace can't continue to be like this, do you want other people to snatch the throne from our family ?, we will always remember the Crown Prince who always makes us proud, but at the same time we need to move on.

After the hot romance, the queen left for her chamber while the king entered his bathroom smiling happily.

This is good, the Queen knows what I want he acknowledged entering his bathtub.

"I want you to meet this man, he will direct you on what to do", the king's brother instructs the warriors he selected to help the Queen's high-killers.

"Follow the address I gave you guys, I have already informed him he added before heading inside his room".

"He must die this time he muttered confidently".

looking at him, he looks like the king, Thaius asks his newfound friend who accommodated him after hearing about his mission which happens to be from the King.

A few years later, the king died and he rosed up against his brother who never fail to respect him in all aspects.

He tried to destroy his brother in different ways which failed, then he left the palace to live in a deserted area where he can plot and carry out his plans against his brother who's the current king.

He's a wicked man but our King is a kind-hearted man which is why he's still alive despite all their wicked plans against him.
