Chapter 3 3- Yummy

ROSE'S POV

How dare he?! He is going to sleep in my room!! He is so annoying. He's handsome and hot, but if he continues to act that way, I don't think I will still see him that way.

After I left him in my room, I went straight to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator to get cold water. I need that to calm myself down because I don't know what to do when he acts like that. I mean, how can Grandpa leave me under his care? I think he's arrogant and full of himself.

Grandpa told me to keep that room vacant, but I didn't think that it was because Sean would be occupying it. All I know is that I am the only one who will live in this house. However, it turned out that Grandpa had a different plan.

After I left Mom and Dad, I moved to my grandpa's, and I devoted myself to taking care of him. I tried my best with my studies and training because I wanted him to be proud of me. I don't want to inherit his organization. It's beyond my capabilities. I tried to train myself to become like him, but I couldn't.

Grandpa is very kind and loving, but when I saw him get mad, I didn't like it. He was merciless. I saw how he killed someone but never took it against him. He never killed anyone just because he wanted to. He always had a reason for all his actions. I'm not saying it was right, but at least through him, all those underprivileged people who had suffered because of the country's justice system will have the chance to exact revenge on those who had wronged them.

I admire my grandpa. Even my mom knew everything about him, but she never judged him either. She loves him so much, even if they live apart from each other. I know she worries about him every time she asks me during our phone conversations. I assured her of Grandpa's well-being all the time.

Now, Sean is here, and I don't know what role he would play in my life. Grandpa told me he was my bodyguard, but I don't think that is the case. Why would I need one when I only manage the company for him? Is something happening in the company? The fact that he told me to trust no one but Sean does not mean I am in danger.

I was staring at the glass of water I was holding when I heard Sean ask, "What are you thinking about?" I looked at him and found him leaning his back on the post of the divider that separates the kitchen from the dining area. He looked serious, as though he thought I was thinking about killing him. I sighed and replied,

"None of your business," he said. He didn't say anything and looked at me. What is wrong with him?

"What time are you going to the company tomorrow?" He asked, changing the subject.

"Grandpa sent a memo a week ago to the company informing everyone about handing me down the business. We already had a meeting about the takeover. Some of the board of directors didn't like the idea that I was the one who would manage it from now on." I told him, and he didn't say anything. "So be ready at 7 tomorrow because I don't want the others to think that I am not worthy of Grandpa's trust," I added, and he nodded his head.

"Then rest and sleep already. Or do you still want to eat first?" he asked.

"No, I'm still full of what Grandpa and I had in the mansion," I answered. I felt like he was okay now, so I decided to try my luck and asked him about the room.

"Can you hand over the room to me as well?" His face was still serious, and I was unsure of his decision, but I still waited. Then he smiled like an idiot and said,

"Yes." I was about to smile after hearing that if only he hadn't said the next sentence, "In your dreams." He then turned his back to me and went back to the room. I was so pissed. I don't know how long I could stay sane when he kept acting like that.

I furiously marched to my room. I would just sleep in the living room, but I had to get my comforter. I opened the door only to be shocked when I saw him taking off his shirt. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked furiously. I knew that my face was red, and who wouldn't be when I looked at his six-packed abs that looked so yummy?

What? Where did that come from? Yummy? I never would have imagined being able to describe him in such a manner. "I thought I had already made myself clear that this is my room. So, what are you doing here? Or did you just want to see me like this?" He asked continuously, looking serious, but I had a feeling that he was making fun of me.

"Has it ever occurred to you that my things are here and I need everything on that bed?" I replied, pointing to my pillows and comforter.

He said, "Get them already, and tomorrow you can start putting your things together in the next room." So, I walked to the bed and got my belongings. Then I walked to the closet to get a change of clothes before leaving the room, glaring at him.

I proceeded to the next room, put down my pillows, and then stepped out to take a bath. I won't be able to sleep feeling dirty after a long drive. There is only one bathroom in this house, which I didn't mind at first because I thought I was the only one who would live there. But Sean, my arrogant bodyguard, is here, so I don't think that I still feel the same.

The water was cold, so it took me a little longer to bathe. I feel fresh after, and I think I will be able to have a good night's sleep. However, that changed after I left the bathroom and saw Sean waiting with a gloomy expression. He was still half naked, and I didn't want to admire his body anymore, so I just walked past him, but he stopped me in my arms.

"What?" I asked, glaring at him.

"Make sure to lock your window and door," he said.

"Whatever," I replied, rolling my eyes at him as I tried to get my arms back from his grip.

"Don't roll your eyes on me, or else," he said, and then he stopped. I looked at him, challenging him to continue. But he just let me go and turned his back on me as he went to his bedroom. I was so furious that he was the one who left me instead of me leaving him, and I had the last words to say.

Arghhh... I promise that I am going to get back to him.

The next morning, I woke up early to prepare breakfast. I went to the kitchen and found Sean cooking. He was wearing a white undershirt that fit his body, paired with a loose pajama.

"Should I take off my clothes so they won't block your view?" he asked, smirking, and that got me out of my trance and glaring at him. He chuckled and said, "Bring the rest of the food to the dining table, and let's eat."

I followed him because I suddenly felt hungry after seeing how delicious the food was. Oh, sh**! This is not so good.
