Chapter 2 Replacing

"Lina, are you sure you want to do this? Daddy doesn't need you to do anything, as long as you're safe and sound." Dill patted Lina's back heartily.

"In fact, whether I want to or not, they will have many ways to force me to agree. And when they strike, we simply have no chance to fight back. Now I still take the initiative, and, marrying Angus, may not be a bad thing."

Seeing Lina's determined look, Dill stopped talking. She was right, that damn woman would not rest until she achieved her goal.

A few days later in Radisson's Restaurant

Lina stood at the entrance of the restaurant, looking at this place she had never dared to walk into for the past ten more years. Celta brought her here for dinner so she could learn noble etiquette in case Lina might be looked down upon by Bryan family after marrying Angus,

The restaurant was too noble for the normal people, so those who can dine here were all gentlemen and ladies of high society.

In fact, there was nothing wrong with Celta's considerations.

All these years, Lina was living a tough life with her father and Nicole. It was difficult for her to be able to eat enough food every day. Despite her demeanor, which was already very ladylike, aristocratic etiquette was not the same.

Lina sat in her seat, looking at the brilliantly lit dining room, carefully observing the dining habits of others here.

The food here was exquisite, emitting this tempting aroma, and each dish seemed like a work of art.

She hadn't eaten such delicious food since she was kicked out of the castle by Celta, but when the food was in front of her, she was a bit down on her appetite.

It was as if she had eaten somthing wrong, and there was a constant feeling of vomiting coming through, making her feel very uncomfortable.

Lina couldn't stand the feeling anymore and walked to the restaurant's restroom.

After a while, Lina felt better and when she was ready to return to the table, she saw a familiar figure from inside the door that was not closed tightly.

It's Angus!

It was a separate box away from the crowd.

"Angus, are you really going to marry the daughter sent over by the Celta family?"

Inside the room came the sound of Angus talking to the woman. And the word "Celta" made Lina stop uncontrollably and lean gently against the door.

"Annie, this is a promise my father once made, and I can't let my father break his word." Angus' voice was nice but cold.

"What about me?" Annie was on the verge of tears, gazing into Angus's eyes.

"I can satisfy you with whatever you want except marriage, and besides, that day you took the money I left you..."

Annie shook her head in aggravation, "What are you talking about! I didn't see any money, and I didn't sleep with you for money, I love you!"

Lina's eyes showed disbelief.

Didn't he say he had an accident while racing, and, wasn't able to have sex? Then how come he slept with this woman named Annie?

Soon, Lina realized that Angus was lying.

As for why, she had no way of knowing for the time being, but she couldn't allow anything stop her from marrying Angus, which was her bargaining chip to help her dad get his shares back.

Worried that Celta might get impatient waiting, Lina quietly walked away and returned to the table.

With that agreement ahead, she couldn't provoke Celta just yet.

Angus, on the other hand, was having a headache at the moment.

Looking at Annie with tears on her pale cheeks, he was a little chagrined.

Damn it! He was Dopingged that night, and it was Annie who happened to be at the hotel and saw him out of sorts and was worried about him, so she followed him to his room and let him enjoy the relief of lust.

He couldn't remember what happened that night, except that when he came to his senses, Annie was lying naked next to him, and her body was covered in the marks left by his madness.

Annie was Angus' homie Lauren's sister. Annie liked him, and he had already known it. He just couldn't raise interest in ordinary women. Moreover, his father had arranged the marriage for him and he can't resist the family pressure, not to mention that he didn't like Annie either.

Should he confess to his father and ask him to give up the Celta's daughter and allow him to be with Annie?

His father would not approve of it because he didn't like Annie either.

But he still couldn't figure out why Annie would say she didn't take the money he left. After all, when he woke up, the money had been put away.

Troublesome things came through his mind one by one, which made Angus frowning.

"Angus, I'm not feeling well now, I gotta go." Annie aggrieved, wiping tears from her eyes and leaving.

Angus was troubled at the moment and did not retain Annie or comfort her.

That night, his body was clearly interested in her. Despite his fuzzy consciousness, his body was honest, which told him that he liked that woman. But why was it that at this moment, when Annie sit near him, he didn't like her at all, and even, felt a little disgusted with her?

After Annie walked out of the restaurant and returned to the car, the sadness on her face was gone. After sitting in the car for a few moments in silence, she took out her cell phone, dialed a series of calls and arranged everything before smiling in satisfaction.

Whether Angus would get married or not was not important at all. What was important was that he now believed that it was her who had given her first time to him that night.

She was the one who arranged the Dopingging that night, since if she hadn't done that, Angus couldn't have given her more than a passing glance, even he was in such good relationship with her brother.

Neve had she expected that she actually entered the wrong room that night and was dragged by a damn man who slept with her directly, and even, that man even dissed her for not being a virgin!

It had been her intention to use the blood of her fingers instead of something after she slept with Angus. While after she left the room she had accidentally walked into by mistake, she saw that the door to Angus' room was unlocked, so she continued her belated plan.

Annie never thought that God would be so good to her that Angus actually really thought that the one who contributed everything to him was her.

Originally, with her status, it would have been no easy task to succeed marrying in the Bryan family, and now all she had to do was compete with Celta's daughter.

She was confident that she could become Angus's wife. And it didn't matter if it come in reality a little later.

Melancholy didn't stop time from running.

A week passed quickly. Celta picked up Dill and Lina back to the castle, as promised.

Lina helped Dill, who was not yet able to walk on his own, to stand at the entrance of the castle.

She was thrown out by Celta more than a decade ago, and it all, originally, belonged to Papa Dill.

This time, she must get it back for her dad and kick Celta and her stepfather's family out, so they too could experience what it's like to have a home they can't go back to, no, it wasn't their home in the first place!

This was Dill's home, Nicole's home , and her home!

She and Dill were placed in a small room inside the castle, but she didn't care, as she didn't really want to see the Celta couple.

The day after she returned to the castle, the castle became bustling with activity. The reason was that Angus, who was not well, wanted to see her before the wedding, so he asked his assistant, Alan, to pick her up and take her to dinner with him.

Angus was willing to see her, Celta was naturally very happy. It was impossible for Celta to block Angus's request. In front of the Bryan family, Celta was like a servant in general, talking humbly and carefully.

Last time they wanted to use her body to get a contract but failed. If they can establish a relationship with the Bryan family this time, then a hundred Johnnies are not worth a word from the Bryan family.

But Celta didn't want to let her own daughter, who was born with her new husband, marry a dying man, so she pretended to be nice to Lina as a way to gain the goodwill of the Bryan family.

Lina sat in the fancy car, looking at the scenery all the way, with mixed feelings.

After hearing their conversation at Radisson's that day, she knew that Angus would come to her. She just didn't know what he would say.

But, no matter what, she must become Mrs. Angus.
