Chapter 4 Conversing with the Alpha

After what Miguel said, he mind linked me. "It's up to you now. Remember your situation" he said.

Then it occurred to me that I will be with the Alpha, my mate alone.

The feeling will be weird.

"Is he nice?" I asked..

"I can say that he's good, but if something ever happens, I know you could protect yourself" he said.

"Mind-Linking now," the Alpha asked, shifting his gaze to us.

"You have got your answer, you have confirmed her identity that she's my sister"

"I will leave you two to discuss," my brother simply said.

"I haven't gotten her name" said by the Alpha which made my brother stop on his pace and face us.

"You can ask her that question yourself" He retorted.

"She is gonna lie about it," he muttered. He looked like he was deciding whom to ask for my name, me or my brother .

"It's not my problem anymore," he replied.

"Get Lost, Mig" he retorted and my brother kept laughing as he continued to walk back.

As he was going, he mind-linked again.

"If there is any problem, call on me and I will hear you," he said and I nodded.

It's my turn to ask him some questions. "What's his full name by the way?" I asked.

"Why? You can ask him that?" he chirped, not asking my question.

'Just tell me now , Miguel" I cooed.

"What!?" he shouted.

"Delta Miguel, Please!" I corrected it.

"Fine, it's Zack," he said.

"Stop toying with my mate, Miguel?" Alpha Zack interrupted us.

"My sister," he said and finally walked out.

I breathed in and out as I faced the Alpha.

"What's your name?" he asked immediately as I turned to him.

"Not necessary to know" I blurted out as he looked puzzled.

"Really!" he smirked and I nodded.

Tell me your name, mate?" His eyes turned red as he used his Alpha voice on me and I felt my wolf step back. He's using his superiority on me.

But it won't work a bit. I respected him as the Alpha but he's still my mate, my very own equal.

"Do you just use your Alpha tone on me and my wolf?" I asked raising my voice.

"I'm sorry, mate but I need to know your name." His voice was calmer this time and he looked eager to know my name.

He touched the side of my arm, moving closer to me which sent sparks on my skin with tingles crawling on my bones targeting my inside.

"What are you doing?" I asked as his firm appearance and composed aura were shattered and a fragile look was displayed as his eyes were worried.

I took a deep breath and said "Not now, we just met each other today* .

"You're trying to reject me right?" he asked.

"Noooo"

"Your nasty touch can turn to something else" I pointed at his hands and he smiled.

"But why?" he asked with his voice raised.

"Nothing, Alpha," I replied.

"I'm yours and you are mine" he said and I scoffed.

"But not mated yet"

"Oh really! You got me" he smiled.

"We have no bond shared together, so step back" I muttered.

"But our wolves had" he muttered and I hissed.

"What about if I mark you right now?" he said and I gasped.

"M-Ma-Mark me" I stuttered.

"Yes, right away" he said and broke into laughter, I think he saw how I am.

"You need to see your face" he said and I blushed.

"Can I know your name, my future Luna?" he asked and I mind-linked my wolf.

"Should I tell him my name?" I asked.

"Yea, sure" she replied.

"I'm asked not to tell you" I muttered and he was confused.

*Who?" he asked looking around ...

"My wolf" I spoke and he smiled.

Why are you smiling?" I asked ,

"My wolf said it wasn't true" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Your eye may pop out, you know" he informed.

"Beautiful, what's your name?" he asked again.

"My name is Selena Edwards," I said, muttering my name to him.

"Such a Wonderful name for a beautiful Lady like you" he spoke and I blushed hard causing my face to be red.

"You're blushing" he said and I had to stop it .

Remembering what Laurier told me , I had to leave this place as soon as possible. "I need to go now, Alpha '' I muttered and he looked at me.

"You don't even ask for my name?" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"I know your name already, no need for introducing yourself to me' I muttered and he muttered an "Oh".

*You aren't romantic, mate!" he said and I huffed out some air.

"How about I see your wolf before I release you?" he asked and I screamed "What?" .

"Why would you see my wolf?" I stuttered and he smiled. What is making him smile? I became confused and how would I shift into my wolf without him not seeing me naked.

"It's not possible, I can't turn to my wolf," I said.

"Why? You saw how my wolf was beautiful" he paused looking at me, and I moved my gaze away from him. "Why can't I see yours?" he muttered and I know where this is coming from.

"Won't it be awkward and shy for me to be naked in front of you?" Surprisingly! I asked.

"No oh...Nothing like that, Just do as I said" he retorted and I knew I'm stuck here, no matter how hard I try.

l felt shy and he noticed it immediately but got the courage to reply him. "No, I can't".

"Come on, don't be such a kid. You are my mate for goodness sake..

Since you're my mate , you won't be hiding your other form from me. Very soon, I will have to see" he muttered walking closer to me and I moved backward.

He stopped immediately and we heard a loud voice echoing round the wood.

"Selen" the voice called and I noticed it to be Laura's voice.

"Who is that calling your name?" he asked looking into my eyes.

"That's my friend," I answered, looking toward the direction of the stream.

"Please you need to go" I muttered at him and then toward the stream.

"You need to show me your other form before.." I cut in feeling nervous.

"Fine, I will but that will be tomorrow" I muttered.

"Meet me at the fig tree at the middle of the wood" I muttered leaving him without listening to his reply

"I will be there" he shouted so I could hear.

"Girl your mate is an Alpha while you will be the future Luna" Brownie muttered and I rolled my eyes.

But I mind drove thinking about him. "He looked handsome and cute," I thought, smiling.

"Where are you?" Laura asked as she strode towards me, holding some woods with her.

"I feel bored and I think a walk would be better to clear my mind",I muttered and she nodded.

"What about you? What took you so long?" I asked because she was supposed to be here.

"I had something to deal with," she said and I smiled.

"Dealing with humans or animals" I muttered as I knew she's a brutal wolf.

"Not that!" she smiled.

"We have some work to do, remember" I said and she nodded walking toward the stream.
