Chapter 3 My Mate was An Alpha

The huge whitish wolf walked around checking me out , so I turned around to face him. He approached me while I stepped back and he stopped immediately.

"I'm glad I met you, mate!" I grinned and he growled slowly. I bent down to his level, caressing his body and he was giggling his tail which means he was happy also to see me.

His Citrus scent was attacking my nose so badly, while Brownie was very happy.

"Mate!" she exclaimed, trying to jump out.

"Calm down, Brownie," I replied in my head.

"I'm happy to see him" she uttered and I rolled my eyes .

"It's the Alpha" she announced and I looked frightened .

"How do you know he is the Alpha?" I asked in my head.

"I'm talking to him through the mind link" she retorted in my head.

"What? He is an Alpha!" I thought.

I don't know who the current Alpha was since I never saw him, since I do not step out of the house. I knew only the face of Elder Paul Gregor, the old Alpha who was also a friend of my Dad.

Elder Alpha knew me, he had no idea I was his son mate.

I internally roll my eyes, she might be telling me lies.

"It's the truth," I asked again to be sure.

"You think I'm lying, greet and bow to him immediately" she said.

"He's getting angry for not believing him" she completed and I could see the wolf grumbling.

"Do you tell him all that?" I asked... Brownie can be so frustrating at times.

"Yes, I did" she said and I flick my eyes open repeatedly.

"What!?" Can't believe she's gonna do this to me.

"A-alpha" I stuttered, bowing my head to give him so much respect. He walked around me and eyed me but I never met His gaze.

He let out a low growl as he stopped in front of me, he moved close to me, using his nostrils to perceive my scent.

I don't know the type of scent I might have.

I raised my eyes to meet him. His hazel brown flecks were so beautiful. Damn it, my mate is so beautiful!.

"Mate! Mate!" Brownie kept chanting inside my head.

All the things were moving so fast until I perceived my brother's scent coming toward our side. "Why will he be here?" I thought.

I had an enhanced sense to see from afar and to perceive. I do all that, not letting the Alpha know my abilities.

I saw my brother in his wolf form, clothes around his neck, then I knew it's for the Alpha.

Maybe the Alpha might minds linked him or so since he was the Delta of the pack.

But what was baffling is that he should have called on the Beta not the Delta.

I'm gonna ask my brother the reason. When my brother was near, The Alpha went behind the tree and shifted then put on the clothes he was carrying with his mouth earlier.

Whenever we shifted into our wolf forms, our clothes would obviously be torn down. So we always had to stash our clothes around the forest in case we didn't bring any to the forest. I had not stashed my clothes yet since I had no reason to go out.

The Alpha took a pair of clothes from my brother and went behind a tree to change.

My brother then asked me "What are you doing here?" he asked but I couldn't answer.

"Why are you not at home?" he asked looking furious. He looked worried and a bit frustrated.

"Laurier is the one that dragged me here, to go fishing" I answered.

"I didn't know someone who see me here" I explained

"You should be more careful," he uttered worriedly.

"Yes..Forgive me Delta" I said holding my two ears.

"Accepted" he muttered looking at the direction of the Alpha.

"Is he the Alpha?" I asked looking up since he was taller than I am.

"Yes* he muttered.

He circled his hand on my shoulder, "He might be friendly but he's very wicked when it comes to offending him" he said and I nodded.

"Be very careful around him," he muttered.

We heard a low growl from the Alpha, who was now at the back of my brother glaring at him.

"Hands off my mate, Miguel" the Alpha roared and his deep voice sent chills into my spine. I looked away from him immediately.

"Really! Your mate" he asked through the mind link and I nodded.

"Oh! I see" he smiled widely and even wrapped His hands around my shoulders the more and the Alpha growled at him.

"Delta" he warned using the Alpha voice that would make any person under him obey.

"Okay! That's not necessary, bro" Miguel said, raising both his hands giving up.

"Do you know her?" The Alpha asked my brother, frowning and curious about me. He looked at me from head to toes as if he's just assessing my presence.

"She is my sister, Zack," he said in a protective and authorized tone.

Zack...

So that was the Alpha's name. The name sounds good to me, so I fell in love with it immediately.

I could see how good looking he was with his muscles that were covered with his clothes.

"So this is your sickly sister, you do talk about?" he asked and I felt ashamed and embarrassed.

"I'm sorry to say, mate but you look healthy, Miguel" Alpha Zack said, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Asthmatic, Zack" he whispered but I could hear what he's saying.

I stared at him and admired his look, well-set jaws, deep Hazel brown with blue flecks and so well built that I thought behind that shirt were muscles in all their places. A man thoroughly sculpted and moulded by god or goddess.

"What do you think about the Alpha?" Brownie interrupted my thoughts. She had a very wild and unspeakable description of our mate.

"Not that bad, though,"I responded to her.

"She is allergic to specks of dust, so we do not recommend her going out. But she is so stubborn, So I should take her back home.' My brother reasoned out but the Alpha looked at him sternly.

'Not yet..I need to talk to her for a few minutes," Alpha Zack replied.

"You can't lie to me , it won't work on me, Delta Miguel" he said.

"Well you can ask your mate!" my brother retorted and turned his head towards me, gesturing me to talk to the Alpha.

After what Miguel said, he mind linked me. "It's up to you now. Remember your situation" he said.

Then it occurred to me that I will be with the Alpha, my mate alone.

The feeling will be weird.

"Is he nice?" I asked..
