Chapter 7 I Know Who You Are

"Javier? Avery?", Kim said in a confused state. Then Javier quickly dragged her into the room and closed the door. "Lilimar what are you doing here?", Avery surprisingly asked.

"I had no clue that you actually came to the party. I have not seen you for a while now.. and when I finally see you, you are in Raymond's game room making out with your best friend's boyfriend", Kim drunkenly said as she tried to loosen Javier's grip on her hand.

"I think she is drunk", Javier said to Avery. "I am not!! Now explain yourself Javy, what was that I just saw now", Kim asked Javier.

"What?!", Javier said. "I am no fool Javy! I just caught the two of you kissing. Are you seriously going to deny it?! I admit that I may be a little drunk but I definitely know what I saw",Kim firmly said.

"Come on Lilimar! Stop making a big deal out of this ", Avery said. "So you are trying to say making out with your best friend's boyfriend ain't a big deal?",Kim asked slightly enraged.

"Seriously Lili, you are not even dating him for real. I love him and you don't! Why not let me date him, even if it is just in secret", Avery said.

"What do you mean by, I am not really dating him and that I do not love him?", Kim asked. Javier and Avery looked at her with a surprised look on their faces. At that moment, Kimberly fell on the couch and passed out.

"I do not understand what is up with her anymore ", Avery said confused. "Me neither. She acts real weird nowadays ", Javier said.

"Why don't we just tell her that we are dating. She won't a big deal out of it since the both of you are only fake dating ", she stated.

"Okay. We will tell her tomorrow but we have to make sure no one else finds out about this ", he said. "Yeah...but why can you not just end this. It is not like you are broke or anything like that. You don't need the money she is paying you. Just stop this act so that we can date publicly", she said.

"If I end things with her and then immediately start dating you. What do you think people are gonna say. Best friend of Lilimar Hilton dates her best friend's boyfriend after their break up to console him? Nothing like that, okay!", he said.

"Fuck what the people are gonna think. I love you and she doesn't,that is what really matters. It is not my fault that she is gay and needs to hide it from everyone, especially her parents. She could have chosen any guy but she just had to choose you ", Avery said seriously.

"That is enough Avery, I am going to take Lilimar home now. So just relax and cool your head off", he said.

Then he carried Kim in his arms and left the game room. "Javier Park, you definitely will be mine soon", Avery said.

The next morning,Kim woke up with a terrible headache. "Ouch." holds her head with both hands," I guess this is what you call a hangover. Fuck! It is really terrible" looks around the room," oh! How did I get here?",she said and then tried to recall all that had happened the other night. On recalling what had happened the previous night,Kim remembered the conversation Javier and Avery had.

"This feels so unreal. I can't believe this,Kira can't be gay,can she? That is why Javier never really acted like a boyfriend to me whenever we both were alone. Damn Kira, what have you done with your life ",Kim said aside to herself.

At that moment,a maid entered the room. " Ma'am Lilimar, your parents are downstairs at the dining table waiting for you. They said you should come down right now for breakfast ", the maid said. "Tell them I will be down in a minute ", Kim said.

On arriving at the dining room,Kim could tell from the looks on Maria and Clifford's face that something was up.

"Good morning. Is there a problem?", she asked cluelessly. "The maids told me that Javier brought you back home at midnight in a bad drunken state. Is that true?", Clifford asked strictly.

"Yes, it is",Kim replied. "Are you seriously that dumb or you are just doing this deliberately. Don't you know the dangers that will happen if you hang around Javier and the rest, in a drunken state. What if you end up babbling out about all that has happened so far and then the news makes headlines,huh? Can't you just control yourself for now and stop behaving so out of line", Maria scolded her.

"I am sorry if I made you guys worry.. for nothing though. But I can assure you that I am no babble mouth when I am drunk. I seriously did not say a single word about this matter last night ", she assured them. "I am glad that you are this sensible", Clifford said and gave a sigh of relief.

Just then,Javier walked into their dining room. "Oh Javier! What brings you here so early?", Maria asked in a shocked tone.

"Good morning Mr and Mrs Hilton. Lilimar's drunken state last night was all due to my carelessness. I came here this morning to apologize for being so careless and to check up on how she is doing", Javier replied.

"There is no need to apologize, you two are young adults and are free to do what you like. Although, you have to make sure nothing bad happens to the both of you. As you can see, I think she is doing quite well now",Maria said.

"Can I please have a word with her?",he asked. "Yeah,sure. You two spend your time together", Clifford replied and urged Kim to take him to her room.

Few seconds later,they both arrived at her room. "How are you feeling now?",he asked. "Apart from my head aching a little bit, I think I feel very much okay", she replied plainly.

After her reply,the two of them remained awfully quiet for some seconds. "Can I ask you something?",they both said at the same time.

"Oh, pardon me. You can go first ",he said. "No no. You go first ",Kim said. "Nah uh.. ladies first ",he teasingly said and smiled. "Shit! Fuck the ladies first policy. Just go first ", she said in a slightly pissed off manner. Javier saw how she was about getting pissed off and decided to go first.

"Do you remember bumping into me and Avery together last night?", he asked in a guilty manner. "Yes",she replied with a questioning look on her face.

"I admit I never told you about the new relationship blossoming between me and Avery. But last night when you saw us kissing,why did you make a big deal out of it... like we were really dating and Avery was trying to snatch me away from you? The last thing you said before passing out still makes me wonder why",he stated.

"I was really drunk last night, okay! I haven't really been in my right senses since the accident and being in that state,I guess I sorta lost it.! Even if we are only fake dating,it is only normal to react like that on seeing you two making out. Imagine if Raymond or anyone else had seen you guys,huh. That would have been big news", Kim said defensively.

"Oh,yeah. I guess that is a logical explanation though ",he said and sighed. "Yes it is",she said relieved. "So um, what was it you were going to ask me?", he asked.

"Oh. I just wanted to know if you and Avery are going to announce to everyone that you guys are a couple", she replied.

"Nahh, hell no. That will be a terrible move and it will surely start up a controversy in the media amongst the three of us. We are just going to secretly date...but that is if you are okay with it,that is", he stated.

"Um,yeah sure. I have no problem with you two wanting to date secretly, okay ", she said in a low tone. "Okay...I guess I will be going now ", he said in an awkward manner. "Um, okay. I will see you out then", she said and followed him till he left.

"So what did you guys talk about?", Maria asked as soon as Kim entered the living room. "Just personal stuffs", Kim replied and headed for the stairs.

"What personal stuffs could you possibly be discussing with him? You are acting as Lilimar remember, do not go falling for him in this process", Maria shallowly said.

"Just has you said, I am acting as Lilimar. So I have all rights to be as close to Javier as possible. I have to make sure no one doubts my relationship with him right? If me being so close to him pisses you off,then you can go ahead and find another replacement for Lilimar. I think that is the best solution, right?", Kim mockingly said.

Maria scoffs and then changed the conversation," Chanel arrived at Los Angeles an hour ago". "Really?!! Is she going to be here for a short while or a long time?",Kim asked excitedly.

"For a long time,I guess. Go get ready, you have a commercial shoot to be at by twelve at noon", Maria instructed.

"Okay. Will Chanel accompany me there?", Kim curiously asked. "Yes. She is Lilimar's manager after all ", Maria replied,hissed and rolled her eyes. Kim totally ignored her and quickly went upstairs to get ready.

Hours later,Jake dropped Kimberly off at the studio where the commercial was to be shot. As soon as she got down from the car,she caught sight of Chanel and immediately ran up to her.

"Chanel it is so nice to finally see you again ", Kim excitedly said and gave Chanel a very tight hug. Struggles to talk well," that is really nice to hear Kimmy..but please let go of me. You may end up squeezing out the remaining life in me at this rate", Chanel said and let out a weak cough.

Kimberly immediately ended the hug with her and apologized. "I was just so excited to see you after such a long time..I guess I can't really trust my own reflexes ", she said and laughed.

"What took you so long though. Everyone's been waiting for you to arrive. Come on let's go in quickly ", Chanel said and dragged Kimberly into the building.

Seeing the set up of everything and a large amount of people staring at her made Kim nervous. "Do not feel nervous Kim. I know this is your first time doing this but do not forget all what I thought you okay. Are we clear? ", Chanel whispered to her. "Yes,we are. I will do my utmost best", Kim whispered back.

"Sorry for the delay guys. Lilimar is finally here , I will go get her ready and we will start the shoot at once", Chanel said to everyone present then she led Kim to her dressing room.

Few minutes later and Kim was finally ready for the shoot. As soon as she stepped into the shooting room, she caught sight of Javier. Apparently, they were both supposed to shoot the commercial together.

"Why are you here? You never told me you were going to be part of this commercial?", Kim whispered to Javier while they were posing together for the cameras.

"I was casted at the last minute today. Apparently the guy who I am filling in for got sick and could not show up. Any more questions?", he teasingly asked as he looked at her and smiled.

"No. Just face the camera would you", Kim said and quickly looked away from him so that he would not notice her about to blush.

After the shoot was over, an exhausted Kim went to the restroom to relief herself. "I can not believe how exhausting this really is. My cheek hurts from all the smiling,my legs hurt for standing for so long..damn this! I seriously do not know how Kira could have coped with all this. To make matters worse Javier just had to keep on teasing me with that stupid smile of his!", she whined as she fixed her hair in front of the mirror.

Just then,the door opened and Javier entered the restroom. "Oh no! I hope he didn't hear anything or else I will be screwed up for sure", she worriedly thought to herself has she stared at him.

"Why are you looking at me like you gonna kill me at any second?", he asked. "Did you perhaps hear me ranting out ?", she asked with an inquisitive look on her face.

"No, not really..but I just found out that I have a stupid smile and that is really surprising. Everyone has always complimented me about it so I am really speechless", he replied.

"Oh" stares at him for a little while," what the hell are you doing in here?! You aren't supposed to be here", she suddenly asked.

"Why can I not be here. I should be the one asking that question though. Why in the hell are you in the male's restroom?" pauses for a second," Were you waiting for me to come?",he said looked straight in her eyes.

"Hell naw, why would I even want to wait for you. And what do you mean this is the male's restroom ", Kim doubtfully said and went to check the sign on the door.

"Imagine if one of the directors had met you instead of me. What do you think is gonna happen then?", he asked. "I guess I was just too exhausted and did not take note of the sign. Sorry for yelling at you",she said and was about to leave the restroom.

At that moment,they heard voices of some of the male directors getting closer to the restroom. Without thinking about it, Javier quickly dragged Kimberly into one of the stalls and locked the door.

"Why did you do that?", Kim suddenly asked in a low tone. "Sssshh" places his right index finger in front of his lips, "you do not want them seeing us and getting the wrong idea,do you?", he whispered. "No", she said and remained still.

As soon as the directors left the restroom, Kimberly finally noticed that she had been holding tight to Javier while his back was laid to the door. At once she quickly let go of him.

"They are finally gone. We should leave now, Chanel is probably going to be be looking for me",she awkwardly said. "Um,yeah...we should", Javier said and soon they left the restroom.

That night, Kim could not help thinking about Javier. "Damn Kimberly!" slaps her cheeks slightly," Stop thinking about him.. you can not and I repeat,can not ever fall for him. Get yourself together, remember who you are, okay!!", she said to herself.

Just then,she heard her phone beep. She quickly checked it and saw a message sent to her by an unknown number. "Who could this possibly be ", she thought to herself as she opened the message.

The message read," I have been keeping a close watch on you lately and I can surely say things do seem different dear Lilimar..sorry, I meant Lilimar's double. Oh yeah, that is right, I know who you are ".

After reading this message,Kim suddenly dropped her phone in total shock. "Who are you?", she worriedly thought.
