Chapter 4 Betrayed By A Loved One

Kimberly sat still for a very long time and didn't say a word. "Have you lost your hearing sense all of a sudden?",Maria asked in a high tone. "Come on Maria, relax", Clifford said calming her down.

"I will do it " the Hilton's suddenly gave a big smile," on the condition that you send my sister to rehab today, you return the boxing arena to Lana and set her free",Kim demanded.

"The workers from the rehab will be here in an hour time to pickup Lilimar" laughs in a disturbing manner,"and as for Lana Ventura, she was never arrested nor was the boxing arena ever going to be demolished",Maria said.

"Was it because you knew I would give in, so you only faked it all?", Kim asked. "Not really. If I really meant business, I would have had that building demolished under thirty minutes." smirks "here is the plot twist sweetie. Your mentor, Lana Ventura was in this the whole time ",Maria said.

Scoffs,"you must be kidding me right now,huh? How would you expect me to believe your words over hers",Kim said and laughed. "Believe it or not, I don't fucking care", Maria said not bothered.

"Your sister is in her room upstairs. Just in case you want to see her before she leaves", Clifford said. "I would love to. Where upstairs?", she asked. "The last room down the left hall", he replied. Kim immediately sprang up from the chair and quickly went upstairs.

"Maria,why did you say that?", Clifford questioned. "Say what",she replied acting clueless. "Lana made a deal with us, on the condition that we would not let Kim know that she was actually involved in this. And here you are, babbling out everything" sighs in disbelief,"we got what we wanted, right? Why try to make a mess out of everything ", Clifford said in a low tone.

"Since when did you care about such things like this. She needs to know that we aren't the only low lives here. That her loving mentor,who she has an immense respect for also stooped so low" puts her hand on his shoulder," and look at the bright side honey. If Kim finds out about this, she'll get devastated and forget about those so called boxing family of hers. Which will make her become more diligent and focus more on being Lilimar",she said with a proud look on her face.

'Inside Lilimar's Room'

"Um,hey. How you doing?",Kim asked awkwardly when she saw a helpless strapped up Lilimar sitting on the bed.

"What the hell are you doing here?!", Lilimar asked angrily. Kimberly stood still,not knowing what to say to her. "You are here to steal my place is this family, right? You are here to steal my life, aren't you?" laughs insanely,"but guess what. You will never be able to be me. I am Lilimar Hilton and you are just Kimberly Perkins ", she said rudely.

"Wow, they really said fame and money does get into someone's head and changes the person. " laughs sadly," I guess you haven't changed a bit though, you are still as dumb as ever",Kim said and smiled.

Lilimar swiftly stood up and charged at Kim. Kim looked at her with a mocking sadden look. "What can you possibly do to me right now? I guess you forgot that you are totally restrained" sighs," I don't really blame you for the condition you are in though. Unfortunately, you were adopted by a pair of irresponsible self centered couple ", she said.

"Don't you dare insult my parents freak", Lilimar shouted. "They are not your parents. It is so obvious that they only adopted you just to get more fame. Our parents are dead,okay!" Kim said.

Laughs insanely," nah uh. Your parents are dead. Mine are downstairs breathing just fine. Those people only birthed me, if they really loved me then they would not have died", Lilimar said.

"How dare you!!" slaps Lilimar twice," I guess you are a Hilton after all and I guess, the sister I've been longing to reunite with is probably dead", Kim said angrily.

"The truth hurts huh? And here is a reminder, you will never be able to replace me. You will never be a better Lilimar Hilton because I am the only Lilimar Hilton this world has to offer " laughs,"you are just a peasant orphan with nothing to her name",she said insultingly.

"At least I am not the one going to spend months in a mental asylum. And mark my words dear" moves closer to her," I will be a very much better version of Lilimar Hilton than you ever had, can and will be ",Kim mockingly said and left the room. " Fuck !!", Lilimar cursed and tried to let herself loose.

"So when do I start?",Kim asked as she came down the stairs. "After a month", Clifford replied. "Why after a month?",she asked curiously. "Because for a month, you are going to under go an intense training on how to be Lilimar Hilton ", Maria replied.

"Mom, dad please, I promise I will be better now. Don't replace me with her, please", Lilimar begged. Maria hugs her and calms her by rubbing her back," we are not replacing you permanently sweetie. We promise that as soon as you get better, she will be gone at one and you will return home ",she said comfortingly. "No, I am much better now", Lilimar said about to cry.

At that moment, the workers sent from the asylum arrived. "Lili my dear, it is time to go ", Clifford said sadly. "NO!!! Mom please, dad please. I will be better, I promise ", she pleaded with tears in her eyes. She noticed Kimberly looking at her with pity.

"This is what you wanted, isn't it?! charges towards Kimberly aggressively but two nurses tamed her down and injected her," I will get you Kim..be...",she said but lost consciousness. She was then taken to the asylum.

"Get ready soon. You have a flight to catch in two hours time to Las Vegas ",Maria said to Kim. "Wait, you guys aren't coming with me?", Kim asked. "No..but Jake will follow you,to make sure the media don't even get a single glimpse of you,till the training is over", Maria replied. "Okay",Kim muttered.

Kim walked around the mansion pondering really hard about what Maria had said about Lana earlier. "There is no way Maria is telling the truth. Lana would never do something, would she?" sighs,"but I am really curious about this", she said and then saw Jake answering a call mischievously and decided to eavesdrop on him.

"I already made the deposit of eight million dollars has per what Mrs Hilton ordered ",Jake said. "I have not seen it yet,I will check it later. What about the fully equipped gymnastic building she promised us?",the caller asked. "The address and full ownership documents would be sent to you tomorrow,miss Ventura, Jake replied.

Kim swiftly collected the phone from Jake,so that she could know who was speaking. "Hello,hello.. are you still on the line Mr Jake ",the caller asked. To Kim's shock, it was Lana and Maria had been right all this while.

"Why,why did you do this to me,huh?", Kim asked. Surprised,"oh Kim,is that you?", Lana asked feeling ashamed. "No, it is the girl who you considered to be like a daughter but you ended up selling her out for eight million dollars and a fully equipped gym",Kim answered feeling betrayed.

"Kim,I am really sorry. I didn't do it for selfish reasons. The Hilton's threatened me", Lana tried to explain. "Lies!! If they had really threatened you, then you would not have been this eager and excited to get the money at the building ",Kim stated.

"Okay,fine. I admit I did it on my own free will but I did it with the pure intention of helping the people at the boxing arena and to help you as well Kim ",Lana explained softly. "To help me?" scoffs,"In what way exactly?", Kim asked.

"You are still young and need to focus on your future ahead. Staying in the boxing arena with us will only just keep you aback. You need to experience more of the outside world and being with the Hilton's. All that is definitely sure for you,a easy stress free life, attending a good school of much worth, meeting new people around your age. Your life would pretty much become a lot more better ",Lana explained.

"When did I ever mention that I hated life with you guys?! I love it so much there, I consider that place my home and you guys my family. You are the second person in my life that I consider to be a mother figure to me." sniffs,"Why would you choose to betray me all of a sudden like this? What do you want me to do now?",Kim said sadly.

"Kim, I hope one you get to understand why I did all this. But for now,it would just be better if you forget about us and focus on being Lilimar Hilton " stops herself from about to cry," I hope we get to meet again in the future and forget all this ever happened. Believe me Kim,I really want the best for you,I really do...but for now, goodbye my love ", Lana sadly and guiltily said and then cut the call at once.
