Chapter 7 Mr. Hayes Coming with His Birthday Congratulations

Sitting on the sofa, Eliza held a glass of wine and put the other hand on her chest, waiting to watch the fun.

It must be Hailey who tripped her yesterday and then filed a complaint against her. Because of the girl, she was reprimanded.

"I'd like to see if you wear the dress or not. If you wouldn't, William would lose face and punish you severely. If you wear it, heh..."

She looked at those geezers beside William. In a moment, they would be stunned.

Delighted with the thought, she took a sip of her wine.

"Miss Anderson, do I have the honor to have a glass of wine with you?" A man saw her drinking alone and came up to accost.

Eliza looked over and recognized the man. Joshua Ford was the second son of the Ford Family and a well-known playboy in Sea City.

He tried to gain her favor many times, but Eliza shut him down.

This time, she didn't mind smiling at him since she was in a good mood.

"Here she comes...."

There was an uproar in the crowd, and everyone in the hall looked at the entrance.

A long-haired girl in a black dress walked over gracefully. Under the light, her fair skin glowed, and the sequins on her dress glittered.

Her hair hung loose casually behind her shoulders. As she walked, her sphenoid bones were revealed occasionally. The girl looked both innocent and sexy.

Under people's gazes, Hailey walked slowly to William. Her confidence and grace were not inferior to that of a fair lady.

"Isn't she a wild girl from a fishing village? Given her temperament, she doesn't look like one!"

"Yeah, this lady is so pretty. It's a pleasure to watch her walk."

"Don't you know that her mother used to be a famous beauty in Sea City? Like mother, like daughter."

"Wow, the Andersons are blessed with great genes, and we have another goddess in Sea City."

Everyone in the banquet hall couldn't tear his eyes away. Those men exclaimed in amazement, and those women were jealous of Hailey for her fair skin and long legs. Her dress was gaudy, but she looked like a model on the runway when she wore it. In fact, women disliked those good at showing styles more than those gorgeous ones.

"What the hell! She puts her clothes on backward!" Eliza glared at Hailey, and her teeth chattered with anger.

"Grandpa." Hailey stopped in front of William with a faint smile. For a moment, the old man had an illusion that Melody had come back.

His face paled as if he were in shock.

Hailey noticed it but tactfully stood behind him.

Jack and his wife were exchanging pleasantries with the guests. Hailey's new look impressed Jack and alarmed Amaya.

Once Hailey was dressed up, she looked just like Melody.

When Melody was alive, she stole Amaya's thunder. Now her daughter came back to steal the thunder of Amaya's daughter.

Amaya was determined to marry the little bitch off as soon as possible.

Then she looked around for members of the Cox Family.

At the banquet, people nurtured different thoughts until a name caused another uproar.

"Sir, sir, Mr. Hayes is coming with his birthday congratulations." A servant suddenly shouted from outside.

"What? Mr. Hayes? Where is he? Invite him in." William left Hailey behind and ran to the gate with a surprised face.

The others followed in his steps and swarmed to the gate.
