Chapter 10 Not with Me Any Longer

The journey home was also quiet. Henry had long legs and could catch up with Susan easily. If it was in the past, she would pull him and asked him coquettishly to wait for her. However, Susan only silently followed him at back. She tried to recall what she had learned today, in order to alleviate the awkward atmosphere at the moment.

Henry slowed down and waited until Susan followed up. With a smile on the corners of his mouth, he said in a slightly mocking tone, "Talented Susan, how was your learning today? Already knowing what one plus one is?"

This provocative tone made Susan very uncomfortable. In fact, in the end, Henry was just a common person. He seemed to be perfect because she was crazy about him in her previous life. Now that the her affection was gone, Henry's shortcomings were exposed totally. Susan didn't merely detest him, but thought herself so ridiculous given her actions before.

Seeing Susan ignore him, Henry touched his nose and was a bit down. He couldn't hold back his temper and directly grabbed Susan's ponytails. Thought he didn't do it forcefully, it was enough to force the girl to notice him.

The feeling of being ignored was really uncomfortable ...

Susan felt pain and slapped his hand forcefully. Henry did not expect that she would resist him relentlessly, even leaving a striking red mark on his fair skin.

"Hey--"

"Henry, are you all bored?" Susan clenched her fists tightly and turned to him seriously. "There are not enough time for me to meddle along any more."

Henry was dumb for a moment. He put his hands back into the pockets at both sides of his pants and the lowered his eyes sparkling with some unknown emotions. He asked Susan in a low-pitched voice, "Well? Don't you play with me in the future?"

"Nope."

"You know, I hate good students the most."

All the fucking bullshit. With a sneer, Susan turned around and left. Hating good students? No more than the whim of an ignorant teenager. Sunny Hard was a talented beauty, Henry was still deeply entranced.

Henry looked at her figure who intended to leave in a hurry and did not catch up with her. The slender figure stood in the sunshine cast down by the setting sun with a long black shadow on the ground.

Susan took dinner at her own house. Mrs Bull and Mr. Bull went on a date and asked Andy to find something to eat for himself and two other children. When Andy knocked Susan's door, he smelled the puff of food.

Susan smiled enthusiastically: "Andy, do you want to eat together?"

Andy saw that there was no one behind her, and he subconsciously wanted to refuse. A teenage girl who wasn't good at doing housework was highly possible unable to cook.

But his innate cultivation made him unable to refuse, and he walked to the table under Susan's gaze. It was beyond his expectation that the two dishes and one soup on the table looked pretty good.

It was too rude to ask whether she cooked them by herself. Andy sat down and took the bowl of rice handed by Susan. He took a piece of meat into his bowl with chopsticks. The meet was delicious when taken with rice. He almost wanted to have another bowl of rice.

Susan also sat down and took the meal slowly.

Her cooking skill was completely self-taught. In order to court him in her previous life, she prepared meals for him every day and sent it to his school. But since she saw her lunch box taken by Henry's followers, she was very angry. What she did was totally in vain.

Andy didn't talk much during eating. They finished their meals in a silence. After the meal, Andy consciously picked up the tableware and went to the sink to wash the dishes. Susan didn't pretend to be polite to stop him. She hated to touch the oily plates with her hands, so she avoided washing dishes by simply picking up the questions books arranged by the teacher today and did them one by one.
