Chapter 9 Good at Taunt

Susan buried the anger in her heart and moved her eyes away, pretending that she didn't exist. She still had enough time and there must be other clues for her to discover!

The teacher came soon. The math teacher in the morning was a young guy with black frame glasses and a gentle manner. Susan smiled slightly and calmly. The young receptionist sent the them to the vip room and brought some fruit and drinks.

Susan sat down, took out her books, and signaled that the teacher could start the lecture.

The math teacher introduced himself. His surname was Smith, a senior from a well-known university nearby, and used to get the highest score at the college entrance examination.

Although still a student, Mr. Smith must have taught many students before. He knew what the focus was and gave a very smooth lecture. He first learned how well Susan handled the knowledge of the junior high school, and then made a learning plan accordingly. Susan did learn a lot from him.

When Susan was thinking about the exercises, Mr. Smith noticed the materials brought here by Susan. After skimming it casually, he fixed his eyes on them and read the notes carefully sitting on the chair.

After Susan finished writing, she saw Mr Smith sigh in surprise: "The owner of this note is much better than me. Why do you pay for the cram school instead?"

Susan smiled and replied: "This is my elder brother's. Although powerful, he has not yet attended the college entrance examination. There was no need for you to teach me after that!"

Mr. Smith was amused. He nodded and continued the lecture.

During the noon break, Susan decided to take the lunch at the classroom in case she would meet Luna. In the afternoon, she was taught by a relatively old foreign teacher who had a strong northeastern accent when speaking Chinese. Susan was so fed up with her Chinese at the end of the class that her standard mandarin was also with a tinge of northeastern accent.

Her class ended very late and there were not many people in the classroom. Susan packed up and went out. She happened to meet two people unexpectedly in the corridor who were none other than Henry and Luna.

Susan's face darkened at once.

Henry also noticed that she was here. He removed his long legs against the wall, glanced at Susan's face lazily with his dark brown eyes and curled his lips. Luna turned around and saw Susan. She was not surprised at all, apparently knowing from Henry that she was here.

Luna stepped forward, took Susan's arm and complained: "Susan, you even didn't tell me that you have attended the lecture here. Also forced by your family?"

She totally pretended to be innocent and know nothing about it. If Susan were still the little girl who had focused on Henry for all the time, she had already forgotten her words.

Susan replied with a smile: "I saw you studying so hard when I came here. As a bad student who had always meddled along at the school, how dare I to disturb you just then?"

This was the kind of sarcasm that she learned in her previous life. Now it was surprisingly suitable to use in on this young girl who had not gotten deeply involved in the society.

Luna's face was white, and she was surprised that her ignorant friend would say such a thing!

Henry snorted with his hands inserted in the pockets on both sides of his trousers. He stooped slightly and emitted a crude aura before turning around and saying, "Susan, go home and take the dinner with me."

Susan now was totally indifferent to him instead if entranced by him in her previous life. Getting used to his appearance already, Susan merely felt ridiculous when recollecting the past.

Originally Luna was planning to wait for Susan to invite her for dinner with the Bull's family. Given Susan's cold face and silence, she merely curled her lips and said goodbye to Susan.

Susan knew that she was in the same class with Luna in high school, and she had to get along with her in the future. She bent her lips and smiled sweetly at her, at least dispelling Luna's concerns.
