Will was also present. He came out of the crowd and insulted her, "You pretended to be so innocent and even did not allow me to touch your hands. I did not expect that now you have come down to this kind of place and are willing to do anything for money."

He implied that Camille was a whore.

Camille's fingers almost stuck into her arm. Like that night on the cliff, the pain kept her lucid and was her most solid ally.

Camille managed a smile and replied, "So if this place is not for me, what are you two doing here now?"

"Did Mr. Brandson say that I even did not allow you to touch my hands? Aren't you Miss Jade's fiancé? Why do you want to touch my hands?"

"Miss Davis, I am confused why you pick such a man. Are there no other men in the world?"

Rumor had it that it was because Camille seduced Will that the Davis Family dumped her. But it was apparently not the truth. The companions of Jade and Will excitedly watched the scene.

Will was irritated and yelled at Camille, "How dare you offend me?"

After saying that, he was about to strike Camille when one of his company pulled him back and whispered to him, "We are at the X Club. Don't forget who owns it."

The man was worried about annoying Thomas, the X Club owner, instead of protecting Camille.

But Camille, who had nothing now, had no such scruples, "Mr. Brandson is mistaken. Who is it that slavishly serves the Davis Family for money? There are indeed full of liars in Brandson Group. Even its young master shamelessly calls white black."

"If you say that again, I'll make sure you cannot leave here!"

Jade looked at Danny and ignored Will, who was caught by hand. She found Danny was none of the celebrities that she knew in high-society circles in Silk City. So she assumed he was a nobody with Camille, scorning, "Oh, you take your little boyfriend here. Camille, X club is not a place welcoming a person of low status like you."

As Jade wanted to call the security guard, Thomas appeared in the hallway. Jade and her company had their eyes popping.

The Marston Family was the most prominent in Silk City. Thomas often appeared in the economic news but seldom socialized with others. Even those powerful guests in the X Club hardly saw him, let alone Jade's companions, who were just a bunch of playboys.

The first person Thomas looked at was Danny, who was examining whether Camille was injured.

As the host, Thomas had to stop the situation from worsening. So he comforted Jade, "Miss Davis, the new waitress was so careless to offend you. I apologize to you on behalf of the club. Is Miss Davis willing to forgive her for my sake?"

Seeing that even Thomas condescended to apologize to her, Jade became more arrogant. She walked to whisper to Camille, "See, now I am Miss Davis. Even the young master of the Martson Family has to respect me. Don't feel lucky that Dad spared your life that night. I will make you regret living. I heard you've been asking people to find the address of the new sanatorium where Bruce is? Just forget it. Mom and I will make you never see that retard again in this life."

Camille looked up suddenly, revealing a face of deeper resentment than ever.
