Chapter 5 Before the Another Loop

Unto this day, no one knew that Bridgette always run off in the palace and the good thing was no one know the face of the princess without her luxurious gown and beautiful make up.

Again, they walked towards to the market were Mark always bought the fine materials for his crafts, "You are still the Cassiopeia I know when we are in the fairy kingdom, your highness" he said

Cassiopeia simply chuckles, "You think so?" then she walked backward facing her dwarf lover "but it's embarrassing on my part because I went first to this place and you are late for a month" she was pretending to be mad

He smiled at her, "I'm sorry Cass, I traveled three dimensions to find you, and I was murdered many times just to travel over time" he reasoned

At that moment she realized his hardship before they met again, she slightly bowed her head because of sadness "I'm sorry, I didn't know about that" she walked again forward

He suddenly stopped and held her shoulders then looked at her closely, "Don't be sorry about that, I'll do everything so that I can see you again even I will die and murdered many times" he smiled at her

Even though he tried to encourage her to his words, her sadness didn't fade to her face, "But I will see you killed or murdered for me to escape death?" she asked with a faint looked

"Don't worry Cass, even I killed and murdered many times I'll always be with you no matter would be, it's a promise" then he held her hand "because I love you and I can do everything to make you alive" he said

She just nodded to his statement, "yeah, that is right" she said to her mind while looking to him with a teary eyes of sadness

After they bought everything that they needed for his next craft, they came home to eat lunch and by afternoon Cassiopeia went back to the palace.

They stopped before they reach the front gate, "See you tomorrow?" she smiled sweetly

He held her hand, "Yes, see you tomorrow" he smiled at her "but please be sure that no one will caught you when you are leaving the palace without any notice" he reminded

She nodded, "I will" then she fixed her hood and left to went back to the palace

Mark was just looking at her while she was walking away when he can't see her further, he turned his back went home happily. Along the way a woman called her, "Marcus, is that you?" the woman said

At first he didn't pay attention to her pretending that he was another person.

The woman approached him, "Marcus, I'm Lilac" she introduced herself "Do you still know me, I'm Cassiopeia's closest friend in the fairy kingdom" she added

He stooped from walking and looked at the woman, "I'm sorry I don't know who is Marcus you are telling and also I don't know who is Cassiopeia" he answered "and please don't disturb me I have so much work to do" he added then he continued to walked towards to his destination.

Lilac was left alone on the sidewalk, she felt so much anger on how Mark treat her, "I know, you are Marcus" she said with anger "I will do everything to find you and I'll kill you, both of you" then she left

At the palace, Cassiopeia arrived without any problem like she was still dreaming for everything that happen since the day Marcus was with him, "It is like a dream" she rolled to her bed without changing her clothes.

A maidservant opened the door, "Excuse me, Princess someone from the royal family is looking for you" she said

She just sighed, "But I need to rest" she answered "Did she have any appointment to meet me at this time?" she asked

"Nothing Princess, the butler told me that was immediate visit from a royal family" she answered

She covered herself with the blanket, "Tell her that I am not available at this time" she said "that I am not feeling well" she added then she pretending to be asleep.

The maidservant returned to the room where the visitor is, "I'm sorry Madame but the Princess is unwell" she said "if you wanted you can set another day for your visit, and also this was an immediate visit" she added

She felt so much anger again but she still trying to calm, "It's fine, please tell to your princess that I will visit her again when I have a spare time" she stood up "I'm sorry if I disturbed her rest, thank you" then she left

While she was with the carriage she rented, she was pissed off that the princess didn't meet her, "We will see again, Cassiopeia" she said to her

Day after day, Cassiopeia and Marcus celebrating their love like no one will take them apart from each other. In every occasion Marcus was there dressed like a royal prince. When the occasion was over, they stayed at the balcony talking silly things and dreamed for everything.

Marcus looked up in the sky, "Cass, do you think that this is our last loop?" he asked

Cass suddenly caught her attention to her question, "I wanted to know about the loop" she answered

He brought out his box, "I used to be like this, your box is the locked to the portal and mine is the key to make a portal in the loop" he said

"By why did you that?" she tried to get the box of his "that is unfair, and the only thing that make the open is when you die first before me?" when she realized that it makes her cry

He faced her, "I can't stand to look at you dying, I can give you my life for you to escape" he answered "And you know that I always make my promises, right? We will see each other all over again because I love you" he said then he kissed her

Cass just cried when she knew the secret of the portal that he made the first he was killed, "But that is unfair, you make you wait every time we will be apart and when the portal opened it means that you are killed or murdered?" she asked

He nodded, "I wanted to protect you, no matter what would be" he answered "by the way, you still remember Lilac?" he asked

"Yes, what about her?" she asked

"She was with us in this time" he answered "please be careful to her, when she visit you pretend that you didn't know her and you are Princess Bridgette not Princess Cassiopeia" he added

"but why? Lilac is the closest friend of mine back there"

"I don't trust her" he answered "In the time when you are in the jail way back in the fairy land, she seduced your king and became the queen afterwards when they declared that you are dead" he added

She became sad to his news, "But why did you tell me about that now" she asked

"Because I'm worried about you, maybe she was the one who tell the guards to find you when someone recognized you" he answered. He noticed that it's late evening, "I need to go now, maybe his mother waits her son that long" he said the he go downstairs

"Please be careful, see you tomorrow" she said as she bids goodbye.

The next morning everything was fine, she woke up early that her maidservants amazed, "Your Princess, you are seemed to be in good mood today" one of her maid servants said

She just smiled at them, "I'm just have a good night sleep last night so that I am awake this early in the morning" she answered

Even though they can't comprehend her actions that day, they are happy to see the princess in that way. After she got dressed, she went to their dining area to eat breakfast.

"Bridgette, who is the man that you are talking to last night after the party?" the king asked

"Is he from a royal family or even a son of a Duke?" the queen added

She was stunned a little when she heard that, "He is from a decent family, but I don't know if he was from a royal family or even a son of a Duke" she answered

"If he was not came from a royal blood or a son of a Duke, Bridgette you will stop to meet him" the king said

She was little hurt on the king's words, so she stood up "I'm done with my food" she took a step to leave

The queen suddenly stopped from what she was eating, "I reminding you that you will marry the prince in the next kingdom" she said

"I know that mother" then she left the room and went back to her room. She locked herself there and forgot that she will met Marcus that day.

Marcus waited her to the place where they always met everyday but at this time Cass didn't show herself then a woman appeared to him.

"Hello there, Marcus" it was Lilac who always followed him

He was going to be mad, "How many times I will tell you that I am not Marcus that you are looking" he was about to leave when he heard a proof from the woman that he was the Marcus she was looking

"Is that enough as my proof that you are the Marcus I am looking for?" she asked

He was very shocked that she was a real Lilac, the recent queen of the fairy kingdom, "but why are you here? We are living here quietly" he said

"I just wanted to see my friend, is there any problem about it?" she answered

"But you are the one who framed her up to the crime and you seduced her king so that you'll be the queen when she was executed" he said angrily

She walked towards him, "You didn't know anything, so you better keep your mouth shut" she whispered then she left him alone

He was frightened when he felt her intention to kill him and also he thought that she wanted to kill Cassiopeia again. In rush, he went back to his home to check everything. He was very worried if Lilac met Cassiopeia already. "I need to see Cass right now, what I should do?" he asked himself. He ends his day thinking what Lilac's business about them was so that she needs to follow them in that time.

The next day, Cassiopeia woke up with so much nervousness "Oh my I forgot Marcus!" she exclaimed and immediately changed her clothes to a commoner then she went out to her room without minding everyone around her

"Princess, where are you going with that clothes?" her maidservant said when she noticed that she was in rush

She stopped immediately, "Oh my! I got caught" she said on her mind, "I'm just wanted to see the city" she reasoned "please don't tell this to my mother and to my father, please" she asked it as favor

"But princess, the queen and the king will punish me if they knew about this" the maidservant answered

She smiled at her, "just pretend that you didn't saw me" she said "when someone asked you, you just tell them that you saw me on my bed sleeping" she said then she left the palace again. She was in rushed to see Marcus because she felt something wrong. When she arrived to his house, she saw many people like a funeral was held at first she thought that it was Mark's mother who died. She entered the house quietly but she was near fainted when she saw who was inside the coffin.

His mother noticed her, "Is that you Princess Bridgette?" the woman asked

She was very surprised when his mother knew who really she is, she stood up and weakly walked towards Mark.

"Don't touch my son!" she starting to grieved "because of you, he was killed" she added

"Because of me?" she was confused

Mark's mother gave her a letter, "That letter said that you are the assassin's target when Mark knew about it he left the house in the middle of the night to warn you but the assassin killed him first and left his dead body on a dark street, it's good that someone saw him so that I can give him a decent funeral" she said

When she remembered what he said to him in the party, she go back to the palace immediately to get her box and escape her pursuer. When she arrived in the palace, she didn't pay attention to the maidservants who noticed her she just enter her room and get the box then she rotate it, "I know we will see each other again in the next time loop" she was crying when she did it, a portal was appeared then she entered it "See you, my beloved" when she entered the portal closed immediately.
