Chapter 2 Terrified Woman

THE NEXT DAY Donna and I met again at the exit to find out if the jewelry we had stolen last night had been sold. But she came to our meeting with a frown.

"I'm having a really bad day today. The necklace was not taken because it was said to be too expensive. I was being bullied that's why I didn't just give it," said Donna, the annoyance she felt was still evident on her face.

I was sitting on a long chair and drinking soft drinks. This is my breakfast in the morning because I'm used to being cold as soon as I wake up.

I took the necklace and stared at the pendant.

"Hell, this necklace is really beautiful. Alright, let's not sell this one first so I can use it on our next targets. It's like I look classy." Because I don't have any ornaments on my body, because of clothes and thin make-up I just recover.

"You look like class even if you don't wear that!" Donna added to me.

I just smiled at what she said. Caloy, Tupe, and Wilbert arrived later. People who live there too but the work is honorable.

"Boss Kim, good morning!" Caloy greeted me enthusiastically.

Tupe smiled, while Wilbert sit next to me.

Wilbert is the leader of their troop because he is smart and handsome. That's why many women pursue him strategically. But when it came to me, he couldn't make me say yes. Because this arrogant ex is not my type, he is obviously a womanizer.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have work?" I asked the three of them. Because they only work for one thing. Car agents that's why they make a lot of money every time a car is sold out.

"No. I am ready for the job you offer!" I promised Tupe and Caloy laughed. They thought that Wilbert had succeeded in wooing me.

I left the place while Donna followed me. Laugh it out while shaking your head.

"I thought you were going to answer Wilbert. That's a womanizer and an obvious liar."

"I don't have that thing in my mind yet, I still have a lot to do so I don't want any obstacles in my life. Then I won't get rich from Wilbert, my target is rich men so that I can get out of the poverty of life. If only I had been born rich, I wouldn't have been looking for money but only a man to love."

That night Donna and I went to the bar where we always hang out. That bar is nice and rich people often drink.

Donna smiled, because she knew that when I acted like that, I was planning to do something. And that is to trick the people I talk to to rob them of a wallet. "Your wallet fell, Mr. Theodore. You're so mean!" I whispered here so he picked up the wallet with a smirk and put it in his pocket again. While I stood up and said goodbye. "I'll go first, Mr. Theodore."

He would have kept quiet but I left for good. We left the bar and Donna to eat. I also bought food for my siblings so after we eat we went home. Mom saw me wearing the core of sexy again.

"Where are you going and every night you come home at midnight?" it started but when it saw that I was carrying food, it became quiet and closed it's mouth.

"I just took my salary so I was left at night. Here is the money, to pay for our light. We're going to be cut off again, so pay for it."

"Where did this money come from, Kimberly?"

"Where I'm staying, Mom." My quick response made Mom's eyes widen. I suddenly laughed so suddenly I took back what I said.

"Just kidding, you can't joke anymore. Of course I worked extra so that's my salary. You don't trust me as much as I do!" I went inside but Mom continued to shoot.

Suddenly my ears rang so I stared at him.

The thickness of this man! Prostitutes? Why am I wearing this, poor woman?!" suddenly my head got hot because of that man. I can't miss what he said. I was about to approach it but suddenly Wilbert called me.

"Kim!" I turned to Wilbert, he was calling me that's why I turned to that Joshua again for the last time. It also looked at me so I was able to hug it. It still happened to me because of what I did. "Tsk! That's what you thought!" I whispered to myself before I walked over to Wilbert.
