Chapter 5 The Perez' family

After the movies...

Outside she found Diego there. She sees him again! The whole movie had been peaceful without him interrupting her but now he's here probably wanting to start another fight. ''Hey you! Don't walk past me like that! Can't you see am here?'' Diego started again. ''No possibly I'm blind.'' Juanita rolled her eyes. ''Oh? Is that so? Well...I see you were enjoying a great time with my brother huh?'' asked Diego. ''Huh?'' Juanita was confused. ''Don't pretend! I know you feel something for him. Don't think I never saw how his arms were over you and my sister,'' said Diego. ''You are delusional lol,'' Juanita laughed. ''Yes and unlike you your sister and brother are just being nice to me.'' Juanita explained to him.

''Girl please! Do you think I was born yesterday?'' he laughed in her face. ''I know a crush when I see one and I know for sure that you have a crush on him! Many girls do! But you my dear you are not his type. And he won't tell you this because he's just trying to be nice!'' Diego laughed even harder. ''Look Diego I'm so sick of you and your jokes that are not funny as you think! Can't you just leave me alone for once?'' she asked in frustration. Diego laughed as he mockingly put her hand in his and started rubbing it. ''Honey where do you get this attitude from? Is it your half sister who is teaching you?'' Diego closed his eyes, looked at her, then laughed again. She forcefully removed her hand out of his. ''Don't touch me!'' she screamed. ''Just one thing...please stay away from my brother!'' exclaimed Diego. Juanita rolled her eyes. ''Can I ask why? My friendship with him doesn't concern you!'' she exclaimed.

At that moment Angel and Francisco came behind her. Juanita panicked! It's Diego who wants to create a monster out of her what will they think of her now? ''Very well said Juanita! Our friendship doesn't concern him!'' Francisco smiled. He was happy that Juanita was finally getting confidence to stand up to Diego. ''So you see the drama you caused? Now everyone is on to me!'' exclaimed Diego. ''Shut up Diego! And leave the poor girl alone!'' exclaimed Angel. They all laughed except for Diego of course. ''Argh! Like whatever! I don't chill with crazy people!'' Diego stormed out!

So pissed now she's busy chilling with his brother. So what now...but his friends and girlfriend interrupted his thoughts. ''Hey man! What are you thinking about? So you just left us there at the movies?'' asked Luis. ''Argh! I'm sorry guys seems I met up with the b*tch!'' exclaimed Diego in annoyance. ''The what...?'' asked Paula. ''Yeah baby and now she's on to my brother,'' he explained to them. ''Wait what no way?! So you mean Francisco is in love with Juanita?'' asked Paula. ''Well I don't know for sure but now it's like Francisco wants to make himself comfortable so that Juanita can be close to him,'' said Diego. ''Aww look who is jealous now...'' Paula teased him. ''I'm just joking,'' she added. ''Paula no this is not the time.'' Diego was trying to keep his patience. ''Seems to me that Juanita has changed alot huh? So she wants a boyfriend now?'' asked Hugo. ''Who cares? And has she ever had one? She probably wants and can't get one because she's no one's type,'' said Diego. ''No Diego I know you hate Juanita but please don't say that! Everyone has a type,'' said Paula. Diego rolled his eyes. ''I have nothing to say and don't see a problem. If they love each other then that's their own fish to fry,'' said Hugo. ''No Hugo you don't understand! Francisco just came from a break up he doesn't need this now.'' Diego explained to him.

''Well Juanita seems good hearted she can mend his heart,'' said Luis. They all laughed at his comment.

Meanwhile with Juanita...

After the whole drama with Diego, Francisco decided to take the girls out to the restaurant. ''Ma'am may please give me your order umm ma'am?'' the waitress kept calling Juanita. ''Juanita your order!'' Angel woke her up. ''Oh sorry sorry umm yeah...'' she finally gave the waitress her order. ''Deep in thought huh?'' asked the waitress. ''Yeah a little bit.'' Juanita let out a little laugh. ''Sorry,'' she added. ''Don't you even worry about him Juanita you did nothing wrong,'' said Francisco. ''Yeah don't feel bad he totally deserved it!'' Angel added. ''But tell me guys why does Diego hate me so much huh? Ever since childhood!'' exclaimed Juanita. ''To be honest Juanita I don't know. He has never really talked about your guys' history,'' said Angel. ''Don't even think about it! I mean what reason could he have against you? You're a amazing person and he's just a fricken bully!'' exclaimed Francisco.

Juanita finally confided in Francisco. He was so different from his brother he was sweet and understanding and he respected her. She couldn't believe she misjudged the Perez' family it seems they all had no problem with her except for Diego.

From the restaurant they came holding hands singing songs but from a distance she suddenly saw Diego. Oh no! ''Okay Juanita if you don't mind Angel and I are going shopping then straight home. Would you like to join us or are you going home now?'' asked Francisco. She wished she could beg them to stay with her as she goes past Diego and his friends but she knew this is something she had to do herself. ''No it's okay I want to go home now,'' said Juanita. ''But we don't mind to accompany you,'' Angel suggested. ''No it's okay really.'' Juanita refused the offer.

She walked confidently but as she got closer she started slowing down. She then quickly passed Diego and his friends. Before Juanita could continue she heard a voice....''Hey b*tch! Why do you walk past us again? You don't like greeting huh?'' asked Diego. ''You are right! Hey Paula,'' she only greeted his girlfriend and ignored the rest. ''What about us?'' asked Diego. ''Some attitude you have huh?'' asked Hugo. ''See I told you! She's just a fricken b*tch now copying her sister but it doesn't suit her!'' exclaimed Diego. ''If you ask me all've you are b*tches except for my sister!'' they heard a voice. They turned around and saw it was Isa. ''Oh wow Juanita so this is your sister? You guys look so alike,'' said Paula. ''Yeah except the other one is yeah...you know braver and Juanita trying to be like her but it doesn't suit her,'' said Diego. ''Isa take back your words Paula is nice to me.'' Juanita told Isa. ''Oh Paula I'm sorry I got carried away,'' Isa apologised to Paula. ''It's okay I know the whole story between Juanita and Diego,'' said Paula. ''Your brother is rude and bullies my sister for no good reason.'' Isa explained to her. ''For no reason?'' Diego burst out laughing. ''Listen Isa...if your sister is lame that's not my problem.'' He mocked her. ''Will you shut up for once Diego?! Or you literally have nothing better than to do?!'' she yelled at him.

Juanita tried calming her down. ''Don't mind him Isa let's just go!'' She turned to Diego. ''And as for you see you at your party tomorrow,'' she said. ''Please wear something sexy. Maybe tomorrow some guy will notice you,'' he laughed in her face. ''And I will indeed.'' Juanita smiled and quickly walked past him. ''Wait what does that smile mean? Hey Juanita! Juanita! Get back here!'' But she didn't look back she completely ignored him. ''Don't you dare walk past me!''

At the mall...

''And then he kept calling me calling me Juanita Juanita but I completely ignored him.'' All Juanita's friends burst out laughing. ''Just like that?'' asked Liliana. ''I'm telling you!'' exclaimed Juanita. ''Juanita I missed you so much honey please don't block me again,'' Renata pleaded. ''Oh I'm so sorry honey it's not that I hated you. Just that I needed space from everyone,'' said Juanita. ''It's okay Juanita I understand I understand,'' Renata sighed. ''So sick of Diego! Hey Juanita please surprise him go there dressing in what he doesn't expect you too!'' Isa cheered her sister on. ''Girl you are so damn right! Usually I wouldn't agree but what do I have to lose?''

Checking through the mall Juanita purchased a pretty short dress with white and pink high heels. ''Hey Juanita are you sure? I don't want you pressuring yourself,'' said Renata. ''Girl chill. Let's show Diego what I also got!'' exclaimed Juanita. All her other friends supported her and helped her to choose the most sexy stuff to wear but Renata didn't have a good feeling about this she was worried on how Juanita was pushing herself.

Back at home...

Juanita went to her room and started trying on her outfit. She looked in the mirror over and over again. Was this her? Or did she just look sexy in that outfit? She too couldn't believe her eyes. She confidently walked in her high heels to the mirror and paused with her hair open. Surely Diego would be surprised! But why did she care about Diego's opinion anyway?
