Chapter 7 SPOILT BRAT

Lian couldn't believe what her sister just sputtered. She was damn angry at her. How dare she ultra such words in her presence. Both of them had never and will never be in good terms.

"Min",she called in anger. "How dare you?"

"Insolence." Emperor Luhan said. "How audacious for this little brats of his to behave like this during dinner. They both weren't kids at all and though the ain't in good terms,they never fought in his presence."

"Father,when I told you not to spoil this daughter of yours,you didn't listen. Look at her,speaking about her brother-in-law in a nasty manner"Iian complained to the Emperor.

Shen,on the other hand just held his darling wife's hand to calm her from exploding. He knew the brat of the family doesn't like him but he doesn't care at all. Her hatred for him was just that her sister didn't choose Cheng but chose him. What every one does not know is that,our dear Jasmine,was actually happy that Lian didn't like Cheng. What would have happened if she did and they but we're together and she got transmigrated into the novel also. How would she make Cheng leave Lian. They aren't even together but still Cheng still loves her. Mumu boy!he should just come to her.

"Min'er, apologize to your brother-in-law",Empress Jia said to her stubborn daughter. She did not even understand how her Min became this way.

"Why should I?" Jasmine asked stubbornly. How it felt good to taunt someone.

"Xiao'er!" Emperor Luhan called in a stone voice

She turned to meet her brother-in-law smiling and said, "I ain't sorry for what I said but..." "Min",Lian called dangerously this time and it wasn't as if Jasmine cared.

"I'm not done talking Jie. I said but and then you cut me off", Jasmine said and turned to her father.

"Xiao'er,what's wrong with you. Apologize to Shen right now." Emperor Luhan said.

"I was apologizing papa and she interrupted me", Jasmine said

"Papa?"Everyone were stunned with that word.

Biting her lips,she said "sorry,it means Father."

"Where did you learn that word from?" Emperor Luhan inquired.

"Nowhere,Father."

"Whatever, apologize now."

"Brother Shen, I'm sorry for saying you ain't a big fish but actually you aren't though. So don't feel bad,I'm sorry",Jasmine said.

"It's fine princess Min",Shen said

"No need to be formal,just call me Min",Jasmine said and laughed lightly.

After the dinner,they all went to their respective rooms. Jasmine sat on her bed and thought again of her mama. How she misses her. Her papa also. She misses them both. But nothing could be done and she wants to be with Cheng at least for the main time before everything goes back to normal.

She layed on her bed and missed internet. Ah,no phone in this era. How boring. She got up and tiptoed and got out of the room. In the vast garden,she sat and stared at the heavenly celestials. And then a shooting star passed by with its fast pace and she made a wish instantly.

Fu Cheng,making sure the palace was safe and instructing every guards to stay alert decided to head to his wing. He owned the North wing in the palace. The emperor gifted it to him as an appreciation gift for protecting his palace and people. He walked passed the garden and came across the princess. His always cold demeanor showed a slight emotion for a second before it disappeared.

He walked closer to the princess who was now laying on her back with her eyes closed. He stood next to her and called her. Jasmine jolted up immediately and showed an embarrassing smile and said, "Commander Fu,what are you doing here?" God knows how she wants to hide away from this embarrassing moment. It wasn't embarrassing though but damn!Cheng saw her on the ground. Aish!he can't even like her,she wasn't princess like,like her sister.

"Walking pass",he said

"Ok?"

"It's late,go",Fu Cheng said. Being a guy of few words,he said just five words to her to her in a few moments and he was exhausted.

"I will stay longer out here,brother Cheng. You can go",she said to him. Finally,she called him brother Cheng. She wanted to but her will to show him she was like that clingy Mina anymore even if he doesn't know,she's different.

'Go now,Young mistress."he said and looked straight into her eyes.

Jasmine felt so intimidated. She had no choice but to go back to her room. When she got to the corridor,she stamped her feets on the floor and that caught the attention of the guards who didn't know she wasn't in her room.

They were stunned to see her in the corridors because they all thought she was asleep. She got into the room and fell on the bed and slept off.

Late in the morning, Jasmine woke up to the sound of tapping foot on the floor. She groaned and raised her still sleepy body to see who was tapping foot and disturbing her beauty sleep. Seated on the wooden chair in the room was her grandmother. She didn't know who she was though and she talked to the old lady harshly.

"Stop doing that,you old hag.If you are not busy then go finf something to do and stop disturbing me."

Old madam of Ying's family just stared at the spoilt brat like princess. She trained her much better than this and don't understand how she became sassy.

Lian sent a message to her,asking for her presence regarding her granddaughter.

Emperor's mother stood up and walked up to Jasmine's bed. After Jasmine poured out those unruly,she went back to sleep again not knowing what she had caused.
