Chapter 1 FU CHENG

"Lo and behold! I truly want to hug Lu Feng. She actually put those nasty bitches to their places. How could Han xiao betray her own bestie,thank God my besties ain't bad like her",said a young lady who is laying on her bed and reading a novel.

One thing Jasmine loves doing is reading novels. Chinese novels to be precised. To her,there were lots of dramas in those kind of novels and it's better to read such. "The dramas in Chinese novels was better than those in movies", She would say. You can relate with those in novels cause the stories will be portrayed well and then you can imagine the scenes well in your head.

"The ones in movies were yuck! Sometimes the story lines doesn't make sense." Well that's to her though,others didnot think like that.

She would say, "I hate movies watching,reading novel is a bliss".

And again our Jasmine has this guy she's crushing on. Damn it! he's hot,sexy, handsome, smoking hot. He's beauty is one in a million. He's rich. He has a multimillion mansion that looks like those in the dynasty era. But there is one thing that she dislikes about him,he has a lover. Like how dare the author of the novel Fu Cheng was in give him a lover?. It is such a devastating thing to know your crush has someone he likes.

Fu Cheng,y'all might be wondering who he is. Well, Fu Cheng is a character in the Chinese novel our beloved Jasmine has read. She has read the novel up to ten times and she's still reading. Our love for Fu Cheng is truly more than anything in this entire world.

Fine! even me the narrator has a character I'm crushing on. He's damn hot and lov..... "can you just shut the fuck up?" Jasmine interrupted the narrator. " This is my story not yours ok?" she said again.

"Yes madam Jasmine", narrator said.

So she likes Fu Cheng and wants to meet him even though it's highly impossible. It might shock you if I say she dreams of him always. Such a delusional girl.

"Jasmine,there is this new novel I saw online. Its not a Chinese novel but it's damn good",Mimi said. It's so damn good,it's about an alpha who has a mate that is destruction. Try it out ok.

Jasmine stared at Mimi thinking. It seems like she what she wants to say,she already forgot about it. "Jasmine are you listening to me at all?" Mimi asked her.

"The Alphas mate Destruction",Jasmine shouted. "That's the tittle of the novel. I read the synopsis already but haven't read the full story."

"Yup,it was written by moonlight senora. Do read the book ok and others", Mimi said to Jasmine cause she was certain Jasmine would read only Chinese novels.

Jasmine as always read about her Fu Cheng again today. The Cheng guy is her only sweetheart. She really wants to meet him but it's not possible. Jasmine thought about the Chinese novel she read of how the girl transmigrated into a novel. But it was all fiction. Was it possible.Could she get into the novel and meet her Cheng. Lots of thoughts filled her head. "Fu Cheng,Fu Cheng,my lovely Fu Cheng", Jasmine said.

Though he loves someone,I will still love him. The story of Fu Cheng,he didn't end up with the person he loves. He was devastated. Jasmine wants to be the one there for him. She wants to be the one who did wipe his tears away. How could the author make Fu Cheng cry. Others had an happy ending but her dear Fu Cheng didn't. He just smiled at all of them's happiness but his own happiness slipped right out of his fingers.

God knows how much she wants to sympathize with him. How much she wants to be the shoulder he should cry on. How much she wants to hear him call her.

"Fu Cheng?"

Jasmine's very first love.Love is sweet. But Jasmine's love doesn't even have the letter "S" talkless of sweet.

She should have a true life crush and love and not some fantasy love in a Chinese novel.

"Miss Ambrose,are you with us?" The literature teacher asked.

Jasmine who was thinking about Cheng as always was called by the teacher. She was so lost that even when she was called she didn't hear and had to be tapped by someone.

"I'm so sorry,Ma", She said. Looking intensively at her the teacher said "if you have a problem,leave it before entering my class,understood?"

"Yes,Ma!"

At the lunch table,Seated Mimi,Andrew,Fatimah,Florida and Jasmine with their lunch on the table.

"Jasmine,what were you thinking of in literature class today!" asked Mimi

"What else if not Fu Cheng,her fantasy crush",Andrew said and bursted in laughter. Staring at Drew,Jasmine said, "he's my fantasy crush,so what?what of you who has a crush on an older lady."

Banging the steel tray of food,Drew stood up and shouted at Jasmine in a loud tone, "Fuck you. So now that you've said that,you are happy? continue to crush on a guy in a novel until you grow old. Maybe after you die you might meet him,you bastard!" he said and walked away while everyone in the lunch room bursted into laughter.

"Jas,is it true!what you said to Drew?" Fatimah asked.

"Why don't you go ask him yourself",Jasmine said angrily and then stood up and walked away.

"Damn it! Drew is crushing on an older lady,how sad. And I want to tell him I like him on the day of Halloween", Florida said sadly.

"It's fine Florida", Mimi and Fatimah consoled her.

After break they all went to classes and Jasmine went to look for Florida. After seeing her she went up to her. "Rida", she called. Florida raised her head up to see who called her.
