Chapter 8 He So Holds Grudges.

Zenos arched his eyebrows at Hayden's words. He didn't know Hayden was this tough and with Hayden acting like this, Zenos wondered if Hayden had faced something similar to this in the past. Is that one of the reasons why Hayden wore a mask? Zenos was getting more interested in this person.

Mr. Daniel upon hearing Hayden's words at once tried to grab Hayden's trousers, but Hayden ducked staggeringly while stepping on Mr. Daniel's hand as hard as possible.

"Please, not my children." He cried out with tears, snots, and sweats coming out of his face, nose, and body. "They are innocent, please. If you want to blame or punish anyone, just do it to me, please not my kids, they are still young!" The middle man begged as tears streamed down his eyes profusely.

"Then what about those little children you're assaulting, aren't they innocent, aren't they here to have fun? Weren't you the evil one who ruined their life? You care about your children, but you ruined other people's lives." Hayden's eyes flashed with a glint that quickly disappeared. He bent to the bowing man level and grabbed his chin. Anger was so evident in his drunk eyes. "I'll make you f****** pay for this." He spat, but before he knew it, a hand grabbed and removed the hand that was gripping the man's chin.

Zenos was extremely jealous. He hasn't touched this person, but the man dared to let Hayden touch him! Zenos's eyes flashed with anger, but he calmly took out his handkerchief and immediately wiped Hayden's hand that touched Mr. Daniel.

Anger was vivid in Hayden's eyes, and he raised his head to glare at whosoever dared to grab his hand, but he came to face beautiful blue eyes which softened his annoyance subconsciously, just a bit. "Wha... What is it with you?" He questioned with annoyance in his drunk tone.

"My men will deal with him!" Zenos replied, and Hayden nodded, already tired of what he was doing with the man.

Hayden stood up, but he was too drunk, which made the earth feel like it was spinning. He staggered back, and he almost fell, but Zenos immediately caught his waist.

The area where both skins met felt hot and electrifying. Yet, it was intense, none of them have ever felt something like that before. Hayden immediately pushed Zenos away because he was feeling weird. His heart was racing, and his cheeks were burning.

"Careful!" Zenos mouthed to him, and Hayden's eyes widened slightly. Zenos's voice felt like a song to him. It sounded cold, but it sent a trail of pleasure down his spine, making him tremble. He shook his head and then waved his hand as if to say that it was fine.

Hayden resumed his indifference and went back to drinking his alcohol. "Higher content!" He said to the bartender, but the bartender looked worried as Hayden gulped the drink without stopping. He was glad earlier that Hayden had something that grabbed his attention away from the alcohol, but now...

Since Hayden was a customer, he can't help but do his bidding. He immediately blended another of a higher content this time and then handed it to Hayden. Hayden drank it and his eyes lit up. "More high... higher content!" He mouthed and gulped them down his throat. His eyes were forcing themselves to stay open like someone who was sleepy.

Zenos immediately grabbed Hayden's hand to stop him. "What now, Mr. Knight?" Hayden asked with a vivid, frustrated expression.

"It's okay!" Zenos cautioned.

"Don't disturb me. As you can see, I'm not an angel in distress, stop bothering me with your knight attitude." He said and tried to pull his hand away from Zenos' hold but to no avail.

After the tug without benefits. Hayden sighed, "Now shoot and scram! Ow." He cried out as Zenos flicked his forehead. "You..." he froze as the blue eyes looked at him coldly. He pushed away his drink and dropped his head in sympathy.

"Pathetic! I was ditched by a woman, and now this strange knight wouldn't even allow me to drink! So unlucky tonight."

"Don't drink for women!"

"What? You've been hurt by women before? You too?" Hayden was quick to guess and his eyes lit up as he had found a 'partner' to talk to. "Sit! Tell me about it!" He said eagerly, but it was clear to see that he was about to fall asleep.

Zenos began to feign a lie calmly when he saw Hayden trying to concentrate despite how he wanted to sleep. "On my way one day, I saw a weak lady in an alley and then saved the woman, but when the policemen arrived she told them that...." Hayden, seeing that his concentration trick was useful, immediately downed the next drink nearby, which was of a higher content than anything he has ever had.

"You..." Zenos was extremely helpless, but Hayden just smiled like an innocent baby. He was so cute that Zenos wanted to hide him.

"Sir!" The bartender called but Zenos raised his hand which made him shut up.

Suddenly, Zenos's phone began to ring, seeing that it was from a business partner, he immediately picked it up but due to the blasting noise, he wasn't able to hear a thing which made him decide to walk out. Without hesitating, he actually did.

Hayden who actually felt like he was ditched was annoyed, how can that man tell him half of a story and leave him on a cliffhanger? Was it because he stole a drink? He so holds grudges! With an unreconciled pout, he waved his hand at the bartender. "Bye-bye!" and then staggered out drunkenly.

The bartender lowered his eyes, he dunno why, but he didn't really trust that man with the drinking customer.

Hayden was first confused when he saw no signs of Zenos, but he sighed in relief when he caught Zenos' figure at a distance. He 'sneakingly' walked towards Zenos in his drunken steps and then surprised Zenos by wrapping his hand around Zenos's waist tightly. "Gotcha, can't run anymore!" His lips curved, and his eyes squinted in happiness.

Zenos, who knew the boy was up to something, just looked on with a patient smile. "Not drinking?" Actually, he could hear all of Hayden's supposed sneaking, but he purposely acted as if he didn't, and he continued to do so until Hayden wrapped his hand around his waist.

Zenos purposely lowered his gaze which hides all his expression, his eyes narrowed slightly, he looked calm and indifferent as he waited to see what Hayden wanted to do. Sometimes, Hayden's actions are unpredictable.

"You finish first!" Hayden pouted due to Zenos being uncooperative about the story.

Red lips are so seductive. Oh, how he wants to kiss the lips until it was extremely swollen. Zenos's eyes darkened, but his calm expression didn't betray anything.

He was just like a lazy lion, bored stiff as he awaited this prey that was willingly running around the predator's territory while doing everything to provoke the predator. "Let go!" He warned.

Hayden was unhappy at Zenos's unresponsiveness. He pulled Zenos's cuff. "You talk." He said and then went to hug Zenos tightly as if to say 'if you don't talk I wouldn't let you go' but the love-struck Zenos allowed himself to think otherwise. And not only Zenos thought otherwise, all his bodyguards too did! Wondering where the hell is this drunk person from and how the hell could he touch their Boss like that.

"Boss!" One of Zenos's bodyguards yelled. How can this person just hug their master like that? "Let go of our Boss!" He said and tried to pull Hayden away from Zenos, but Hayden clutched Zenos tighter.

"Not yours, mine!" Hayden said and clutched Zenos tightly. Hayden looked sleepy, yet he still stubbornly held Zenos, the image looked like a cute kitten stubbornly holding its owner. Zenos was happy at the answer, even though he knew what was on Hayden's mind was kilometers apart from what he thought them to be.

"You, let go!" The bodyguard threatened, but Hayden wrapped his hand around Zenos and his leg around Zenos' waist tightly. "No" he stretched his neck to look Zenos in the eyes, and he was captivated by Zenos' devilishly handsome look. He giggles. "Handsome" he whispered beside Zeno's ear.

The bodyguards felt that it was too much. This drunk young master who came from nowhere dared to be acting unrestrained with their boss, but why is their boss saying nothing?

Hayden's face moved closer, and suddenly, his lips fell on Zenos's cheek.
