Chapter 5 Thank You, No!

Zenos scoffed in amusement. "Unbeneficial to you? You're the one at a loss? When did it become your turn to claim those words? Who was the one crying, begging, and panting for more, faster while I do the work?". Zenos accused, making the multiple feelings coursing through Hayden disperse as he began to blush in embarrassment.

"Never, I didn't say it!" Hayden cried out in denial, flustered. He glared at Zenos for making him lose the composure he was trying to gather easily.

"You don't like to admit it, do you?" Zenos was able to point out Hayden's behavior easily.

"It's true that it was not beneficial to me. My back was the one not functioning now, not yours." He complained in annoyance.

"Unbeneficial to you, you said again?" Zenos strides toward Hayden, who's glaring at him, and holds his (H) chin with a dark expression. "You have lots of courage, young boy."

"Stop calling me a young boy," Hayden said irritatedly and smacked Zenos's hand away. "Don't act as if you're that much older than me!" He glared back at Zenos not in any way showing a stance of backing off.

"Nice counter back and courage, but the last person who did that vanished out of the earth." Zenos threatened Hayden darkly.

Hayden's eyes widened and slowly morphed into one of horror under Zenos's wicked gaze. "You'll kill me? Not only did you take advantage of me in my drunk state, now you want to kill me. Don't you think you're shameless and heartless?" Hayden was in disbelief and he cried out angrily. Not at all showing traces of weakness, which caused Zenos to be amused.

"No, I don't!" Zenos cut in straightforwardly while staring back at green eyes.

Hayden quickly said eagerly. "I tell you, if you ever think of killing me, you won't go scot-free."

"Is that why you're crying?" Zenos taunted.

Hayden froze due to Zenos's words. Who's crying? How can he cry? He... but the mocking expression on Zenos's face unconsciously got him believing.

Was he actually crying? He thought and with that, he immediately raised his hand to touch his cheeks, and upon feeling nothing, he glared at the shameless pervert who's now a liar. "Who's crying?" He asked in anger while wishing he had the strength to bash the pervert's head on the wall for lying to him. But wait!

"How is your expression in the morning different from last night?" Zenos asked him. If he didn't see Hayden's expression in bed last night, it'll be hard to link Hayden with the active person last night.

Wait, what? Hayden touched his face again and unlike before, he didn't feel it; all he felt was the absence of the thing on his face making him freeze for a few seconds. His eyes widened immediately as he recollected himself. "Where's it?" Hayden asked in a too calm voice.

"What?" Zenos teased even though he knew what Hayden was looking for, and Hayden upon seeing Zenos' look knew the person was messing around with him.

"Where's my mask? How did you know about it?" Hayden yelled out with mixed feelings.

"Oh! The mask? It has been discarded." Zenos said with all seriousness that made him freeze.

'It has been discarded. It has been discarded.' Zenos's words continued to resound in Hayden's head even after a few seconds. "Dis... Huh?" Hayden's eyes widened, and he revealed an unreadable expression within a second.

"Kidding," Zenos said, a glint flashing in his eyes as he saw Hayden's mixed expression within a few seconds. "There!" He pointed towards the nightstand where the skin mask was neatly laid.

Hayden's fast-beating heart immediately slowed back to normal after Zenos' clarification. And he can't help but sigh in relief, but there's one thing that makes him clench his hand. Did this person look at his face while they were doing it? And didn't he feel... Hayden quickly brushes away the question, how does that matter?

Hayden stared at the suspicious stranger angrily, and he couldn't help but wonder how he knew about his mask. For over 5 years, he has worn the mask around the world and to different countries yet no one ever knows about it and now this person already knows about it after meeting him in just a night.

"How did you know about it?" Hayden asked Zenos once more, looking at Zenos with a cold and murderous glint that amused Zenos. A little kitten trying to scare a lion. Zenos thought while eyeing Hayden's 'seductive' expression.

"You don't seem good yourself. You're looking at me with a murderous glint! I'm scared." Zenos feigned, making Hayden glare at him in annoyance. 'Can Zenos ever be serious?' Hayden thought in annoyance.

"I'm asking how'd you know about my mask!" Hayden yelled stubbornly, which made Zenos know Hayden was at his limit and he would blow up if he teased him once more.

"You told me yourself!" Zenos shrugged and white lied. He knew Hayden wasn't only concerned about his identity, which he is trying to hide. He knew that Hayden wearing a mask was likely related to his accident. The boy is scarred!

Hayden was dumbfounded at Zenos's reply. How come it was his fault again? This isn't the first time he was drunk and whenever he did, he never lost control. How come everything has changed ever since he saw Zenos? Not only did he seduce Zenos while he(H) was drunk, Hayden even took off his mask for this stranger. He looked at Zenos suspiciously. Who is this person?

Zenos whispered in Hayden's ears, blowing it and chuckling inwardly as Hayden looked at him suspiciously. "Someone told me; if you touch me, I'll show you my face, and I'll stay with you forever!" Zenos said next to Hayden's ear while blowing it with his (Z) warm breath, making his (H) eyes widen and a rare red stain his(H) cheeks.

Somehow, Hayden's heart started beating fast when Zenos came closer. What the hell is wrong with his heart? Hayden thought in annoyance, and he pushed away the smirking Zenos.

Everything rare to Hayden was made normal to Hayden in just a morning with Zenos. Hayden could see that it wasn't a good sign!

Hayden's blushing face immediately cleared when he recalled Zenos' words. "Forever?" He questioned with a lost expression, which Zenos didn't reply to.

"Would you like to take a bath, my darling?" Zenos instead lifted Hayden's chin and kissed him softly, his calm expression changing to a heated one as he eyed the beautiful mark he placed on the boy's skin.

"Thank you. No!" Hayden donned a disgusted expression on, and he coldly said. He immediately pushed Zenos away after seeing Zenos's heated expression. He refused to give himself to a wolf once more.

"Too bad." Zenos shrugged and left for the bathroom.

Michael opened a chat with no image, but saved as Xavie. He scrolled through the chat carefully, but with a sad expression. He was sad when he saw the date that they had both chatted last.

His hand lingered on the send message as he wished he had the courage to send a greeting to the person.

Michael wondered if the person ever thought of him or looked for him ever since the time he ran away from him, or if the person has moved on. His friends knew he left home, but no one knows the real reason why he did.

And now he blushed when he thought of the stupid reason why he left. Even thinking about it made him ashamed, but he was young and everything felt like a burden.

After his actions, he regretted it, but it was too late. He sighed and exited the chat. He was near yet far to him.

"Doctor Michael, the break is over!" His assistant said to him, he nodded and stood up.

"Zenos didn't come home last night, that lonely billionaire era is gone," David said as he made his way to the sofa.

"Falling in love is scary, just a night, and he's running away from his boys. I could see that he's not different from the billionaires mentioned in all the novels that are getting popular these days!"

"Tell me, are you reading those books too?" David asked Sean with suspicion.

"I'm wise enough to know what's latest even if I'm locked in a cave!" He sneered and walked to the fridge to take an orange. "Unlike someone!"
