Chapter 3 Did Your Little Brother Come To Life For Him

"When is that little doctor coming back?" Zenos questioned as he made his way to the club's private lobby calmly amidst ambient lighting, blasting music, making out couples, dancing and sweating bodies, etc. He coldly ignored the people who were batting their eyes at him seductively.

Thinking that it would help Zenos relax and let out steam as the search engine said; Zenos's friends decided to drag him to a popular club in the city to make him lose his composure and probably act like the teen he is or hopefully finds someone who'd catch his eyes.

"Michael is older than you!" Jude interrupted with amusement, making Zenos scoff at him. A dancing girl passed by them while throwing a flirtatious gaze.

"He should be back before next week, his seminar has been extended," Sean said calmly while eating a banana.

David and Jude shook their heads at Sean's eating fruit habit, but it's known among them that messing with Sean's fruit is equal to looking for death, which made them unable to do anything but laugh silently in amusement.

"No traces?" Zenos asked them.

"All traces are cleared. No one can find him!" Jude concluded seriously.

"It's noisy," Zenos complained, he doesn't look like someone who was in the club to unwind. He looks more like someone who's about to do business research about the club business/industry. With a cold face and elegant movement, he made his way upstairs.

David wouldn't admit that he too was not getting the actual fun that was claimed when he searched the engine. He'll really prefer to get under the bedsheet with blasting headphones in his ears than stay in this environment, but he swears that he wouldn't be the first person to back off. "Stick with it. The search engine said this is one of the ways normal people have fun!" It's more like he was convincing himself.

Thinking that this could open a new business path for their growing business, Zenos said. "We can invest in the business then. Research..."

"Seriously, business wizard Hion! No one is talking about business matters tonight; we are here to have fun!" Sean said playfully while inwardly rolling his eyes. He winked at a lady while she also cast her eyes at his sexy body hungrily.

Zenos coldly looked at Sean when he was addressed with the lame Hion name. "I wondered why you hate Hion though!" Sean said.

"Lame!" Zenos pronounced, making Sean wonder if Zenos was talking about the name of the company or the owner.

The noise in the private lobby was a bit lowered compared to the blasting noise downstairs, Zenos rested his head in the chair and closed his eyes.

Nothing caught his eye, which made him lose interest immediately. A way to unwind, what a lie!

Suddenly, it felt like his heart was tugged, making his eyes fly open. It caught his friends by surprise.

"What's wrong with you?" David asked him. A vodka drink that was making its way to his mouth was halted as he stared at Zenos due to Zenos' sudden action.

"Nothing!" Zenos stated in his cold voice, making his friends sigh. Unwinding didn't work for any of them, they thought inwardly as they began to do business matters on their phones. That's the best thing to do anyway!

Suddenly, Zenos felt as if he was drawn by something strange, he furrowed his brows at the strange feeling in his heart, but the feeling was getting intense which caused him to immediately stand up and walk to the lobby where he could have a clear view at the people downstairs and that's when he saw blond hair that unfailingly belongs to a boy.

It was a boy! A boy with blond hair? He was drawn and attracted to a boy? His thought went wild and the realization made him furrow his brows. The country isn't against same-sex couples nor was he as he had worked with a lot of them but...

Ever since he was born, he has never been attracted to anyone, but he knew that he has always been straight, it's just that no woman has caught his eyes yet which is why he was still alone. But, how come, a boy?

Numerous boys and girls have seduced him, some stripping themselves nakedly while hoping they would catch Zenos's eyes, yet he was never stirred up by them, but this blonde person not only made him hot, he even brought his younger brother alive and his heart started beating faster even without seeing the blond's face! To think that, he wasn't even disgusted with the thoughts filling his mind!

The boy seems to notice Zenos' probing and intense gaze as well because the boy looks upstairs towards Zenos's side. Zenos was a little surprised.

The law of attraction draws them together, he thought. And suddenly, he felt it: that blond person is his! A claim was immediately dropped on the blond he had never met. The blond can only be his! Zenos' possessiveness was subconsciously overflowing!

"What are you staring at?" Jude asked. Zenos' action actually surprised them, which caused them to follow.

Without waiting for Zenos' reply, Jude commented because he too had seen the blond boy Zenos was staring at after tracing Zenos's gaze. "He's hot." He said.

"Shut up!" Zenos said in annoyance. He obviously hasn't met this person, but he already doesn't want anyone apart from himself to praise that person and be by that person's side. "Who's he?" He asked.

David replied. "Hayden, son of Ethan. Came to the country 6 months ago. Best friend here, Andy. Love painting and design..."

"He doesn't look like Ethan!" Zenos cut in.

"Surprisingly, the mask Ethan is still creating & researching looks like real skin! That man is good." He commented.

"I wonder if he would release the mask to the world. It's good but could be dangerous too!" Sean chirped in, now holding a strawberry.

"Yeah, I think! But no one knows, the man surprisingly has numerous tricks against his sleeve after the boy was almost killed when he was 10." Jude said, sipping his drink.

Jude's sentence caused Zenos' calm expression to turn cold, he lost his calmness and his hold on the wine glass got tighter immediately. "Hayden was almost killed?" Zenos growled and said with a voice laced with anger. "By whom?"

"It's a closed case!" Jude replied nonchalantly. "No one knows. Well, except, if you'll ask Ethan!" Jude finalized. Suddenly, a hint of regret flashes in his eyes. "I love that mask! The one in the black market isn't as good and lasting as Hayden's." Jude said regretfully.

"I heard the mask is medicinal. Not only would it not affect his face, but it would also preserve it and even clean all the blemishes or previous wounds on the face. No face irritation even! The son must be the reason the parents dive deep into the science world." David said.

"Was Hayden injured that time?" Zenos suddenly questioned as he caught a point in David's words.

"Probably? Rumors that fly was either that he was ugly..." Zenos glared at him in anger, making him cover his mouth with his palm apologetically, "my bad! Or dead? My bad!" He said when Zenos scowled at him due to the 'dead' word.

"Everyone thinks he died during that incident because he fell from a mountain, and Ethan didn't clarify! So sad, no one would know he has such a pitiful past. So depressing!" David sighed pitifully.

"Hayden himself loves designing. I discovered that he designed the mask himself!" Sean continued.

"He's talented!" Zenos said as his eyes followed the blond's every movement.

"He caught your eyes?" Sean noticed Zenos' fond tone.

"You're attracted to a boy, not a girl?" Jude turned to ask him in surprise.

"Wait! Did your little brother come to life for him?" David interrupted.

"Stupid!" Zenos wanted to answer them before, but David's question made him think against it.
