Chapter 3 Nightmare

Melissa woke up with slight headache and weak body..she turned to her side but her husband was not there..she tried standing up but the headache was getting a bit serious..so she decided to lay down for sometime.. After few minute she sat down as she saw her husband caring Adeya in a bridal style..she immediately stood up and went to them.. What happen?she asked as she saw Adeya red body.. She use her palm to touch her forehead it was burning so hot.. King Diatus drop his daughter on their bed as him and his wife sat close to her.. Mother...is that you...Adeya whisper.

Its me dear..what happen to her diatus? Melissa sat down as she stare at her husband with teary eyes.. Mel..its just fever..Martha have check on her,she will be fine.. Mother...please don't leave...Adeya whisper this time with a teary voice.. No..I won't go anywhere...I'm here my dear.. Mother!promise me please... I promise Ade my darling..I promise...Melissa wonder why her daughter was making her to promise.. Mel it all start as a nightmare...king diatus hold his hands.. Nightmare..Melissa whisper because she knows all her mother nightmare do come to pass.. What did she dream about?...Melissa asked hoping not to hear something heartbroken.. I don't really know...she was just saying don't leave mother..king diatus said as he look at his princess.. Adeya try to sit down...her mother helped her up as she sat close to her.. Have you eaten?.her mother asked her.. Martha fed her before feeding her the medicin..king diatus told his wife.. Adeya..her mother called as she rub her back.. Yes mother.....Adeya respond.. How are you feeling dear.. Much better since you promise you won't leave.. Hmmmmm..why did you make me promise?... "In my dream..you said I should take care of father and myself..you are leaving the earth forever..I begged you to stay but you said it was too late"..Adeya said as she look at her mother.. Mother!please don't leave us.. I promise..I will try to stay for as long as I can darling..Melissa said kissing her head.. King Diatus hugged his family as he promise to protect them.... After some few minutes silence,Melissa coarse her daughter to sleep while she and her husband went to the dining hall for lunch.. Are you OK my queen?king Diatus asked his wife who has been lost in her thought since their food was served.. Mel..we will be fine OK..its just a nightmare..he said as he squeeze her hand.. Melissa force a smile..she hope it was just a nightmare because she's not ready to leave Adeya...she tried forcing food but she has no appetite..her mother dreams are always signs,and her daughter is like her mother's kind... I don't think we should tell Adeya about your new wife for now,since she's not in good health...Melissa said as she sip from her juice.. Mmmm...but she needs to know very soon,I don't want to break her heart...king Diatus said... After a few bite from her meal queen Melissa left to their chambers..she wanted to just be beside her daughter..it might just be nightmares to others but to her its more than reality,its like a storm is close by.she can't even tell her husband about the special ability their daughter inherited from her maternal grandmother..even her mother didn't tell her father,as the only child her mother was scared,that she have inherited it too.but she took over her father.when she saw her daughter eyes and the resemblance she knew..her mom has comeback again..she want her daughter to just be like any other normal kids in Ghia,getting nightmare when danger is around is too much for her..she just want things to happen naturally... My poor Adeya...mama is so sorry...Melissa kissed her daughter checks,as a tear drop from her eyes.. Adeya yawned as she clean her eyes from sleep.. Mother...I'm hungry..Adeya turn to face her mother.. Melissa was so happy that her daughter was asking for food,she couldn't eat too.. OK dear..just a minute alright.. Mmm..Adeya hum as she look at her mother walking out hurriedly.. Few minutes later,Melissa fed Adeya a bowl full of hot potatoes and chicken soup.the little girl eat like she have been starving, Is it OK?Melissa asked.. Yes mother..I'm full.. Thats my girl..Melissa kissed her forehead.. Let mama see your injury does it still hurts mm?Melissa carried her daughter leg on her lap.. Not like yesterday mother.. Thats good then..I can't see you in pain,it hurt my heart so much.. I'm sorry mother,Adeya will be careful next time.. Mm mm.my daughter is brave.. Hope you won't have a nightmare again..Melissa asked as she caressed her daughter cheeks. You promise you won't leave me..so I won't have a nightmare again.. Oh my dear..you are so cute,my beautiful princess.. Adeya giggle as she saw her mother funny face..she hug her mother like her most precious treasure.. I love you mama...she said as she buried her head on her mother chest.. Mm mm..I love you too Adeya..the beautiful princess of Ghia. So no one loves me huh?....king diatus stood by the door as he look at his beautiful family..he wish he was not force to have another wife.. Adeya giggles as she release the hug,she tries to comedown from the bed and limp with her injured kneel..her parent didn't stop her,they want her to feel brave.. Adeya limp to her father as king Diatus carry his daughter.. I love you father..she smile as she hug him putting her hands around his neck.. I love you too..powerful princess of Ghia.. The family of three laugh.. *********** Father...what did the king say about the marriage..Nella ask her father as their carriage ride along the elite market of Ghia..
