Chapter 2 The visitors

Melissa went to clean up as the maids already set a bath for her..she was still cleaning up when her husband joined her..

" Mel"..king Diatus walked to his wife... "Mm mm".. "Are you OK..Ann told me Adeya cut her kneel." .Diatus said as he entered the bath tub and join his wife.. Yes...but she's resting now...I ...I just couldn't stand seeing her in pains..Melissa said as she feel her husband hand rubbing her back.. Its OK Mel...she's a child and at this age she's meant to have injuries as she played around OK..he kissed her hair ... They both bath together before leaving to dress for dinner. After few minute,king Diatus and his wife queen Melissa walked together in the dinning hall as they both took their respectful sit..Duke Giasus and his daughter lady Nella was already waiting.. The duo's start eating their meal in silence when the duke broke the silent.. Is the princess OK your highness? he asked as he continue eating.. Yes ...she's sleeping..queen Melissa responded back.. They finished their meal after a while as the king and duke left to have a brief talk while queen Melissa quickly leave to check on her daughter... As she entered her room,she saw her daughter still sleeping peaceful.she walked and sat beside her as her breath sound steady.. Queen Melissa smile as her daughter looked more like her mother,it was said mandre are known with their beautiful face and green eyes..she smile as she stood up and gently closed the door.... ********** Nella walked to the room arrange for her as she entered, she looked around and smiled..the whole palace will soon be under her control..she have been watching the royalties for a while,and she pushed her father to deceive the king on getting another wife..she smiled as she knows her plan was working as she wanted... Melissa went to Martha room who was a retired maid of the palace.. Your highness..Martha greet her queen.. Martha how are you?Melissa asked the old woman.. I'm fine...i have given Adeya some medicine,don't worry she will be fine.. I know..thank you so much Martha...but I came here about the visitor...Melissa said as she looked worried.. What about the visitors my queen..Martha asked her queen.. I don't really know I just have this feelings since Adeya fell,things have not been fine in my eyes.. I know my queen that you worried too much about the princess..calm down.. Hmmmmm...Melissa sighed as she knows only her knew about her daughter ability of detecting danger.. She took everything about her mother,the special abilities that her mom have,but she can't talk about it because magic is forbidden..and since Adeya fell and cut her kneel she knew something is not right about the visitors but she can't point it out.... Melissa sighed again as she exchange brief talk with Martha before leaving.. As she entered their chambers,she saw her husband already set for bed.. When he entered he saw Ann hugging the sweaty and crying Adeya.. What happen?he asked as Ann quickly stood up and moved aside.. She had a nightmare your highness.. He sat down and carried Adeya on his lap.. Ade...he called her as she was still crying.. Father!promise me she won't leave me alone in this earth.. Who Ade..who wants to leave my beautiful princess alone?he asked confused... Mother...father my mother wants to leave me all alone..Adeya cried as she hold onto her father....
