I've been searching for my mate for sixteen years and I'm back where I started at the Shining Dawn Pack.

I know she seathered ties with our pack, but I just can't give her up that easily. She was hiding something from me and I wanted to know what it was.

Abigail was the Gamma's daughter, so we all thought. We'd terrorised her for years. And when I found out she was my mate, I couldn't wait to show her who was boss. She was my little mate and I was her beta. She had no power over me, or so I thought.

I couldn't believe she wanted to reject me. I may be an asshole, but that should never be the reason for rejection. We could've worked through everything she hated about me and tried to turn me around.

I didn't care that she was a Gamma's daughter. She was perfect for me in every way. I didn't care what my friends thought or my alpha, he was best friends with her brother and he treated her just as badly as we did.

It made me growl just thinking about it. She was his sibling, yet he chose to side with us instead of her. At least he knew where his loyalties lay.

My alpha would always comment, making me growl, unintentionally making the pack matter. None of them knew that we were mates. I wasn't planning on telling them either. I didn't want them to go anywhere near my mate. I didn't want to put her in any danger.

But unfortunately, Tyrone Shane, my alpha, has found out and demanded that we bring her back and mate her.

I knew he was up to something but I dared not ask. When we found he had gone and that SOB Logan Black Heart, King of the Rogues, had taken her in and made her queen made my blood boil. That no good for Rogue. He was up to something and I was going to find out.

I am sure to find that is why he paraded her in front of everyone, making her change into her wolf in front of all of us and God was she beautiful. I had to get her back to protect her from this maniac. She was the rarest wolf known in the tales. I saw the glint in my Alpha's eyes when he realised exactly who she was. No fucking way was he taking her away and claiming her for himself. She was MINE!

Unfortunately, we had lost her as Logan, Black Heart King of the Rogues and his clan had attacked us. And I've been searching for her since, hence why I am back to square fucking one.

Alpha Aziel's beta, Mathew or something, not that I care. I've come here for one purpose and one purpose alone. To get my mate back. My Abigail.

I had told him I wanted to speak to his alpha. He, of course, left me standing by the gate like last time. I guess they really don't like visitors here.

The prick approached the gate.

"What do I owe the pleasure of your acquaintance this time, beta?"

"I've come here for my mate."

"Like I told you before, your mate isn't here. "

"And you see one thing with that sentence." I paused. "I don't believe you."

"You don't have to, I don't care. Your mate isn't here and if she was I would've returned her. Like I told you sixteen years ago. Look, this is not a good day. But one of our omegas is missing and I've got to send a search party out to look for them so they don't get attacked by a dog if you catch my drift?"

"I do. I'm sorry to hear one of your slaves has run away, but that doesn't concern me. What concerns me is my mate, Abigail Lionhert. She was last seen in the woods around here."

"Sorry I can't help you. No one turned up here by that name. The rogue probably killed her."

"Thanks for your time, alpha."

"No problem beta."

He turned storming away. There was definitely something wrong here. He was lying. And was just going to find the truth and find my mate, wherever she was.

The Rogue King

I was growing impatient. Abby had been MIA for sixteen years. She was my queen. She had no idea who she really was, until the day she shifted in front of us all. She was a true goddess. The moon goddess had made her so perfect.

She was bearing that prick's unborn child, but I had to take it on as my own to gain her trust.

She was everything I wanted my queen to be. I wanted to mate her and mark her as mine once she had shown her true self: the daughter of the moon goddess herself.

She was one of the rarest wolves I've ever seen, her white fur and her ice blue eyes and paws. She was truly breathtaking, and she was mine. I could see the lust in both the beta and alpha eyes. I had to stop them. She was MINE and MINE alone.

She must have slipped away as we were on the battlefield. My angel, I will find you one day and bring you back home where you belong. With me.

I went to the Shining Dawn Pack.

I wasn't greeted with a smile, but disgust. Yeah, I was a rogue, but I was a king in my own right. How dare they look down on me!

The alpha looked disgusted as he turned his nose up at me and lied through his teeth at me about Abby never being there. Here was where I smelt her scent. Her strongest scent wasn't there now. It hadn't been that long ago since she was. "You have no idea who she is." I muttered as I was leaving.

"What do you mean?"

"You'll find out sooner or later." I said, changing into my wolf demon and running through the forest to see if I could still catch her scent.
