Chapter 2 Abby

16 years had passed. I had run across many borders to escape from the Rogue King and my mate, the Beta of The Great Moon Pack.

Then I had no idea how special I was. I was the daughter of the moon goddess.

I never saw it coming, neither did my mate, but the Rogue King had. Serenity, my only daughter, was turning sixteen this fall along with her brother Sergo.

I had to tell them. I had to warn them of their heritage because one day they would find their mates.

I finally had gotten my second chance mate when I had entered the Shining Dawn territory: Alpha Aziel.

He was nothing like the Betta I had left behind or the Rogue King.

I still fear that one day either both or one of them will be searching for me. Aziel knows all about my background and how both of them treated me.

It was the worst day of my life. I had thought he would reject me the moment he saw me and how pathetic I looked all muddy, my body full of scratches and deep cuts.

But he took me in and gave me time to adjust to my new surroundings before bringing up how I managed to get there looking like I was run over by a train.

I eventually let everything out, even just horrific details and every tear I had cried. I had let him know that I was carrying that bastard's children. I was carrying twins.

He seemed unfazed by it all and agreed to help me bring them up and we would be safe in this pack.

He would never give me or my children up to those monsters. I hoped for his sake he was telling the truth or I would skin him alive.

Storm was very wary of him. Even now, she has trust issues with him, though we have mated and have two children together: two boys: Jonathan and Judas. He treats them better than he has ever treated the twins.

I understand that they are his own flesh and blood, but he chose to take on Serenity and Sergo as his own. Now he treats them as the pack's runts.

I need to get out of here. My children don't deserve this kind of treatment.

I know they will find their mates one day and leave the nest, but I can't bear to see them tortured anymore.

"ABBY!"

FUCK! What the hell does he want now? It can't be good. He never uses my full name unless he is mad or angry at something or someone.

He stormed into our room, well, my room, as I refused to sleep in the same bed as him. I know he no longer loves me. His love stopped the day I gave birth to Judas.

He has countless she wolves at his beck and call. My heart breaks every time he is screwing one of them.

This wasn't the life he promised me. Storm has told me countless times to break our bond and leave with Serenity and Sergo as he has turned my other children against me and they hate me just as much as their father and this pathetic pack.

I'm sick of it here. It's been ten years of hell thinking things will get better and he will love me as he once did. But I've now come to realise that will never happen.

So I've decided I'm going tonight. Once everyone is sleeping, I will let Serenity and Sergo know through our telepathic current. The other two haven't developed this yet and I pray to the moon goddess they never do.

"Are you deaf bitch? I've been calling you?"

"What the hell do you want?"

"Don't talk to me in that disrespectful tone. I'm your ALPHA! "

"And I'm your LUNA! But yet you still chose to disrespect me!"

Slap.

My head snapped to the side. His eyes are dark, oh shit his wolf is stirring. This isn't good.

He growled loudly. "YOU WILL NEVER BE MY LUNA! YOU SAD PATHETIC WHORE. I TOOK YOU IN CAUSE I FELT SORRY FOR YOU. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS. YOU ARE NOTHING TO ME ABBY NOTHING!

YOU WERE JUST THE BEARER OF MY PUPS THAT BETTA HAD THE BEST IDEA TO USE YOU. YOUR WORTHLESS ABBY YOU'RE NOT WORTHY OF BEING A LUNA. YOUR TRASH AND AS TRASH I'LL BE DEMOTING YOU TO THE OMEGA YOU SHOULD BE.

I SHOULD NEVER HAVE TAKEN YOU IN. I SHOULD'VE TOLD THAT ROGUE KING WHERE YOU WERE, BUT I THOUGHT I COULD MOULD YOU INTO THE LUNA I WANTED AND I WAS WRONG.

I HAVE CHOSEN ANOTHER SHE WOLF WHO IS WORTHY OF THE LUNA'S POSITION."

STORM GROWLED INSIDE ME. SHE HAD WARNED ME OF THIS DAY, BUT I WAS SO BLINDED THAT I HAD GOT A SECOND CHANCE MATE THAT I NEVER EXPECTED IT TO BE YET ANOTHER SHIT SHOW.

HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT MY WOLF LOOKED LIKE. I HAD HIDDEN HER FROM HIM ALL THESE YEARS BECAUSE STORM DIDN'T TRUST THIS ALPHA ONE BIT AND SHE HAD BEEN RIGHT NOT TO.

I had let Storm take over. She was more vexed than I was at his behavior. Some second chance mate he had turned out to be.

"HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT ME! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO YOU ARE PROVOKING RIGHT NOW!"

"DO YOU THINK I ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT? YOU'RE NOTHING LITTLE WOLF. YOU'RE EVEN SCARED TO SHOW YOURSELF."

"OH I WILL ALPHA MUTT."

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!"

"ALPHA MUTT."

"HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT YOUR ALPHA, OMEGA!"

"OH I'M SO MUCH MORE THAN AN OMEGA YOU MALE PROSTITUTE."

"I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO RESPECT YOUR ALPHA!"

"YOU'LL NEVER BE MY ALPHA, JERK!"

He pounced around us. Storm ducked out of the way. Catching his legs, he fell onto the floor. He recovered quickly. Going for Storm once more, their fangs nipping at each other, he pinned us to the bed. "This is all worth your little wolf."

We tried to struggle underneath him. He pushed inside us. Storm held back the sheer pain of his assault, attacking him with her fangs ripping his skin, scratching at his flesh, but he ignored the pain and kept thrusting deep and fast inside her.

"ALPHA Serenity has gone. Mathew cornered her and she attacked him and ran. We can't find her Alpha."

He grunted and spilled his seed inside me, getting up off me. "Find her. She couldn't have gotten far."

"Yes alpha."

I looked angrily at him and slapped him hard. "You bastard! This is all your fault. I'm going to find my daughter and you better hope and pray she is okay, or I'll rip you to shreds and anyone else that gets in the way!" I said angrily.

"What can you possibly do, Abby? You're weak and pathetic."

"One day karma will bite you on the ass and that will be the day you wish you had never met me!" I warned, as I left the room, angrily ignoring all the other idiots around me. They were all two-faced anyway. Storm was still stirring and wanted out.

Once we were far enough from the pack house, I leaped into the air, my bones snapping. I had become used to it and it didn't hurt anymore, my clothes never shredded. I have no idea how they didn't. It must've been one of Storm's powers.

I ran in my wolf form a white wolf with ice blue paws and eyes. It was a rare sight and I was afraid that they would have them, and their father would come searching for them because of their legacy.

A descendant of the moon goddess and a beta were a force to be reckoned with, but now as much as an alpha and a descendant of the moon goddess. Storm had feared that one day Aziel would turn out as power hungry as those I had fled from in the first place.

I knew where Serenity would be. I often went there to think of the lake as it has the most beautiful waterfall. I telepathically let Sergo know where I was heading and to meet me there. We were all getting out of here, no matter what it took.
