What the hell had that little bitch done to piss Mathew off?

I paced my office. I should never have allowed Abby to stay here in my territory. But she was my mate and my wolf wouldn't stop howling in my head. He wanted his mate and he was going to have her no matter what.

She'd told me about her past life and her mate, the beta of her old pack, and she'd secreted ties with the moment she got out of there and the Rogue King that had taken her as his queen.

Then she ran from both of them whilst they fought to their death.

What she hadn't told me was why. I didn't want to ask, she was already a blubbering mess and to add to it, she was carrying pups.

I agreed to take her in and help bring them up as my own. But as the years passed, I started to resent them. They weren't my own but here I was bringing them up. I finally accepted our mate bond. That's when my first heir was born, Jonathan. I couldn't have been happier. Then a year later, we had Judas and everything in me changed. I not only resented them. I began to resent her, my mate.

I have no idea what had gotten into me, but I was pushing her away, hitting her, fucking all the she wolves I could find to hurt her even more. Today had topped it off for me.

I had finally realised things would never go back to how they once were between us, so I chose another Luna and I had her demoted to an Omega.

She didn't take it too well. But she would still be around for my pleasure. Harmony didn't know this, of course, she thought I was going to throw her out of the pack along with her runts.

Then I got a mindlink from my gama claiming her stupid little runt had attacked my Beta.

Mathew liked provoking her, so I thought nothing of it.

She was vexed and told me if there had been any harm done to Serenity there would be consequences. Yeah, right. What could an Omega possibly do to an Alpha?

When Mathew finally showed his face, it was black and blue and he was hunched over. "What the hell happened Mathew?"

"I have no idea, Alpha. We were just talking and she attacked me."

"I find it hard to believe Mathew. You've been goading her for months. Is there something you're not telling me?"

"Absolutely alpha."

The sharp pain in my chest buckled my legs, bringing me down to my knees.

"Are you okay, Alpha?"

"I can't breathe. "

My face contorted as I screamed out.

"What's going on, Alpha?"

"She's gone, the bitch has gone. She's left me, she's gone. "

"Isn't that good, Alpha?"

"No. This wasn't supposed to happen." I said, collapsing on the floor.

How could she do this to me?

I woke up in the hospital."Good morning, how are you feeling, Alpha?"

"It hurts."

"It will be for a while. Luna Abigail broke all ties with the pack and with you. You were warned this would happen, Alpha, if you turned everyone against her."

We were in our rooms when this strange feeling came over us. We'd never felt so much pain before, we felt every last string as the bond between the pack and my mother, brother and sister snapped into place. Judas and I ran out of our rooms looking at each other. "This is your fault."

"No, it's yours. "

We lounged at each other. We'd fought but never like this. We were throwing punches and kicking at each other as if we were possessed and wanted nothing but the other to be dead.

"You made our mother leave. "

"You hated her as much."

"You hated her more."

"You made our siblings leave."

"You pushed them to it."

We glared at each other, our eyes were glowing. "Judas, your eyes are purple."

"Your eyes are blue."

We stood in front of each other breathing heavily. Our eyes were still glowing. Fuck what the hell was going on?

"Well, hello to you too. I'm hydren your wolf."

"Why are my eyes purple?"

"Because you are special, just like your mother and siblings, you must keep this to yourself until it is safe to show your true self."

"Jonathan, I feel weird."

"You will for a while until you get used to the power finally surging through you," My Wolf explained. I nodded.

"Good afternoon Jonathan. I am your Wolf Fixen. Do not feel threatened by what is going on. You have been suppressing your feelings for a very long time. It's okay to let them out, but just to let you know that it is not your fault you were deceived by the one you thought you could always trust: your father, the Alpha. He's not a good man. He lied and deceived. He had hurt your mother and siblings for many years. Only you and Judas can stop all of this.

Your mother needs both of you. You need to find her. She's not safe and she could end up in the hands of yet another deceiver. We need to go and find them before they end up in the wrong hands "
