Chapter 9 NINE

A month later,

I stood with fear going down deep in my heart as I looked deep in her pale blue eyes that were wide open. She wore a short fancy skirt that rarely covered her whole thighs that were shinning at a distant in a fading morning lights.

She carried her purse in her left hand and carried some paper files in her right hand. Furthermore, she looked worried but wore a fake smile in her face. Likewise, she looked deep into my eyes for sometime without saying a word, suddenly her fingers started fidgeting, her lips slowly started to open as her teeth were seen in a distant shaking in anger.

I suddenly noticed a change that was unnoticeable. She opened her arms as if she asked for a hug from me. "Vivian? What is happening to you?" I asked as looked direct to her breasts, for I was a little afraid to see her anger. "You are a lucky man!" She said as she walked away from my face.

Life in here has been boring and tiresome that it almost brought me down. No one thought of having friendship with me for I walked all alone, didi all the activities burdened to me by this cruel prison police. I never thought of surviving, for I was so mean to myself at some point. I thought of giving up. No one to visit and no one to say hello.

Until this day that she has finally come to get me out of jail.

I thought of a way to surprise her, for the efforts she has made to come and get me out of that hell. It was really spectacular that on this day I had agreed finally to get out of jail for a decade of suffering in mystery. The mystery days seemed to be over since then, my heart and minds now decided to collaborate and act as one.

As she stood just in front of me, I never could have imagined that she meant a lot the other day as she said she really needed to get me out of jail. This was in contrary to what I thought was all her mind. I thought she was evil and all she could think of was nothing but just to take me through hell as soon as she could.

Her eyes were pale as she giggled in sorrow, as she shook in fear, as her eyes were overflowed with tears that drained all the way to her lily t-shirt that she wore that day. It was then that I followed the flow of her red tears that I noticed that she wore a t-shirt written in bold and italic, "freedom is coming".

"I really never thought of this before, and if I really could, I would have apologized so early enough. I apologise for everything that happened, I know and I am certain that maybe you will never forget about that for the pain in your heart is so big to be covered currently!" I said as I moved close to her, as she stood still and never made a step neither. She stood firm, but trying as much as she could not to lose her balance, for she had a terrific month of sorrows and pain in her heart. The pain that I could see all the times I looked deep into her eyes.

She looked at my eyes and immediately blushed off as she hid her face, looking down to the ground. Pain overwhelming and dropping from her heart to the place she stood. " I understand, and that's why I am here to get you out of this place, for I just noted that perhaps you didn't deserve to be here. I am deeply sorry that I never believed in you. And if I could, then all this would have never happened!" She said as she moved closer and closer. Holding my hands, I could feel her fear in her palms as they were warm in between. I quickly felt that she really needed some more time to catch up with the situation.

"Are you okay dear?" I asked as I shook her head with one of my hands that stretched out if the cell and made a touch to her skin. That earlier was soft and smooth, so different from now. As I could really feel, it's lost smoothness. She never responded to my question as she broke in tears once again without further stating the reasons. I felt so low and down to continue speaking to her, as I was worried that I was the reason she broke into tears from time to time as she saw my face. And I thought that maybe I should have never been talking to her every now and then. She still required some time to get things done in her head.

She shook in fear, her warm hands slowly changed their temperatures as I could feel the cold between her fingures. Not only that, but she finally accepted to raise her head up as she looked down and deep into my head without fear. Likewise, she struggled to stay calm and trying to control herself as much as she could. Furthermore, she was frozen for a while as she was just looking into my eyes without saying a word. I was dumb for a moment too as I was looking at her without uttering a word either.

"I'd missed you, Don! I'd really missed all the moments we had, all the moments we shared together, Don! But still, I can't really figure out well what really happened as to why my innocent son was taken to death at his early ages Don! Today, I'm getting you out of jail just from being an inmate to become my mate. Just as you were my mate and unfortunately turned to be an inmate. It was so boring and so unfortunate that you did accept that to happen in our life. But there's no problem for that!" She said as she raised her arms, placing both her palms on the face. Raising my head to make my face look directly into hers.

"See you at home, Don!" She said as she quickly varnished out of the premise. She walked in confidence, but from a far I could see her struggle too. She had lost power and balance, I allowed my minds to think of her once. Likewise, she really never deserved all this, but it was so unfortunate that she never believed in me, for I always did.
