chapter 5 My brother standing up to my father didn't change the fact that I wasn't going to be in the ritual anymore. I didn't look back as the men dragged us away from the pack into the forest. the rest of them were already crying and I knew why, no one knew their fate, this might be the last time that they would ever see their family. "What about you, " A thought said to my head. I knew it was better not to look back, he always derived pleasure in giving me pain so there's no need of looking back.

The panic broke out of my head and bread of sweat began to fall from my head as I hesitantly raised my head and when I did, my eyes came in contact with those familiar brown eyes that I dreaded so much and wish never to see again my head instantly went blank as I tried to recall where I had seen those eyes before and when I remembered I wish I died instead.
