Chapter 7 He is the Lycan King!!!

"Special to you?" Alina heard Crystal's voice. She turned around and saw Crystal standing behind her with a bag. It looked like a bag of clothing.

"Alina, say something. Who is more special than me to you?" Crystal asked, pouting her lips.

"It's nothi-" Alina was trying to say, but Delta Darren interrupted her.

"Why would she tell you? It's not like you are her parents. She does not have to answer everything."

Crystal got angry and said, "Okay, fine. Don't tell me. I am going back to the car."

"No, Crystal, don't get mad," Alina said and was about to follow her when Delta Darren intervened. "Don't follow her. She is just acting. When you go and try to talk to her, she will happily talk with you again."

"That's because she is my best friend."

"She is your best friend, but does she think the same as you?"

Alina frowned at him. "Why are you saying this?"

Delta Darren let out a sigh. "I think you are a good woman. Don't believe people blindly. Sometimes, many people are very close to us wearing a mask, but we can not understand their real identity. So we should open our eyes and try to see their disguise."

Alina was confused. "What are you saying? I can't understand. I know she is a witch. But she will be our royal witch, so don't say these things about her. She is not like that. Even our former king loves her a lot."

"I am just saying this to you because I think you need to know; after that, it's your choice to take the advice or not."

Alina didn't want to argue, but he was talking about her best friend. Crystal was the only person in her life who truly cared about her. She had been her friend for ten years. They had been living together for five years. She could doubt anyone but her.

Alina tried to change the topic and asked, "Should I buy something for the king?"

"No need. He doesn't need any gift from anyone. He is the one who bestowed on us the life we wanted to live. Your best friend just bought a gift for the king because she likes him; otherwise, our king does not need it." He walked to his car after saying this.

Alina was surprised. 'So he knows that Crystal likes the king. That was why he was talking those things about Crystal?' Alina shook her head.

They got into the car. Alina turned to Crystal, who was leaning against the seat and closing her eyes.

Alina thought she should not disturb her. She assumed Crystal was tired and asleep.

They returned to the pack house, or, as Alina might say, "The Lycan Palace."

When the car approached the palace's exterior. She observed the Lycan Palace. It was already evening when she saw it yesterday. She had only seen it in the dark. But now she could see the palace's outer beauty in the sunlight.

It was very beautiful from the outside. It was gray-colored with some black blocks everywhere. There was a dome in the center of the palace, which enhanced its beauty. She tried to see the side of the window where she met her mate. But she was unable to see that side. She guessed it was on the opposite side of the Palace.

When the car stopped in front of the main gate of the pack house, Crystal got out of the car before Alina could tell her to wake up. Alina saw her and thought, 'Wasn't she sleeping a while ago?'

She and Delta Darren stepped out. Crystal was the first person to enter the house. Alina sighed. 'She is still mad. I should have persuaded her in the car. She is now more upset with me.'

She and Delta Darren walked into the pack house and noticed Atlas and Daisy talking.

"Uncle Atlas and Aunt Daisy, I bought gifts for you both," Crystal said cheerfully.

Alina frowned. 'Didn't we buy those things together? She only bought the king's gift alone. Then why is she saying this? Now, what about me? They will think of me as a rude woman.' Alina thought.

Atlas was pleased to see his present. Daisy accepted her gift from Crystal when she noticed Alina standing nearby.

"Alina, come over here."

"Yes, Aunt."

She went to sit on a couch. Crystal chose to ignore her.

"Uncle, where is Aaron?" Crystal asked Atlas.

Delta Darren approached them and said, "How many times have I told you not to call him by his name? Do you forget who you are speaking about?"

Atlas chuckled. "It's okay, Darren. She is our child. She can call Aaron by his name. Aaron adores her; he won't mind it."

Delta Darren glared at Crystal, who smirked at him. Alina observed everything. She looked at Daisy and saw that she was not pleased with what her husband had said.

Daisy stood up and said, "It's time for lunch. Let's go, everyone."

Alina considered how much time they had spent in the village. They left early in the morning and returned late at midday. Now it was late for lunch. 'Why didn't the royal couple have their lunch yet?' She thought. But she was also feeling hungry. They had eaten some food at the village market, but that was two hours ago, so now she was hungry.

Everyone stood up and went into the dining room. Alina sat beside Crystal, though Crystal didn't talk to her.

Daisy instructed the maids to call everyone for lunch.

One by one, all the officials came and sat in their seats.

Beta Lucas arrived and sat. He said to everyone, "King Aaron is coming to join us."

Alina was nervous because she had never seen the king.

She overheard gossip in the village market. People claimed that he was the most ruthless king in history. He never took time to kill. In his one order, all the Lycans got out of their realm and attacked in different packs. But he was alone enough to demolish any pack.

The door of the dining room opened, and Alina lost a beat of her heart.

She smelled the most alluring scent again. She was overjoyed when she realized whose scent it was. She thought her mate had come to see her.

But then she heard Crystal, "King Aaron, you have finally come!"

Alina immediately turned her head to the door and saw her mate standing there alone.

She was shocked and asked herself,

'He is the Ly-Lycan king???'
