Chapter 3 Fiona's boyfriend is also him

In her glee, Lucasta overheard Fiona talking to her assistant. "My boyfriend came to visit me; I guess I should tell the director to move the scene back to tomorrow. I had to put on pretty makeup to meet him."

So she asked the director's permission to return early; she wanted to go to the cake shop to buy ingredients and prepare Athelstan's birthday cake. Lucasta's smile and excitement disappeared and were replaced by the confusion of hearing Athelstan talking to someone with an indulgence Lucasta had never seen in Athelstan; he always treated her politely; but far away.

"I'm sorry for the flight delay and I arrived later than expected, I will definitely make up for you next time." Athelstan spoke softly.

"I had to quit my job and come here to wait for you for more than two hours. It makes me so sad because I miss you so much." A soft female voice rang out.

Lucasta's ears strained as she tried to hear whose voice it was, it felt so familiar, but she couldn't remember.

"I apologize a lot for this incident, wait until you finish work we will go on a trip together. How do you feel?" Athelstan sweetly coaxed.

"Where to go? I have been to a lot of countries and find them all boring." The girl didn't like it, then giggled again. "But if you come with me, I'll be happy."

Athelstan gave a low chuckle; he changed the subject. "Do you feel hot?"

"I'm not saying you don't care, but you seem to be right, the weather has been erratic lately." The girl pretended to loosen her collar, which made Athelstan unable to stand still.

Athelstan approached and hugged the girl's slender waist. "If it's hot like that, don't wear it anymore, I'll take it off for you."

"So spoiled." The girl cooed; when Athelstan's large hand reached the zipper behind her, the girl frowned and looked at the cake Lucasta had brought; she pointed at it. "Athelstan, why is there a cake here? Is it a special occasion, and who brought it here?"

Athelstan lazily took one look at the cake and then showed no interest. "I hate cake, baby, maybe Sherwin's playing tricks on it because only he knows it's my birthday."

Lucasta curled up in the cupboard, her heart pounding at the sound of Athelstan's hatred of the gift she'd made for him.

"I don't like cake, if I eat it it will make me fat." The girl pouted her lips.

"I'll call the staff to come and dispose of it." Athelstan dialed a series of numbers on the landline phone but was stopped by the other girl. "Don't let others disturb our good deeds."

"Shall we continue then?" Athelstan put the phone aside, and his hoarse, lustful laugh rang out. "Your body is so amazing; it makes me unable to stand it for another minute."

Lucasta felt that Athelstan was strange now; those flirting words had never appeared in Athelstan; it gave her some hope that the man was not her Athelstan. But Lucasta's voice was so familiar, it reminded Lucasta every night, and she could be sure she hadn't misheard. This means Athelstan betrayed her and gave her a horn long ago.

What happened next left Lucasta dumbfounded. Through a small gap in the closet, Lucasta saw Athelstan carry the other girl to the bed; he hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt and kissed the other girl passionately.

Lucasta was taken aback when Athelstan left the girl's lips, and Lucasta got a good look at the girl's face. It was none other than Fiona, which made Lucasta feel extremely painful; she remembered Fiona's conversation with her assistant. Fiona said her boyfriend specially came to visit her, Athelstan is her boyfriend, and he came here for Fiona and not for her, that's why Lucasta didn't know anything about his schedule this time.
