Chapter 10 A Good Girl

Vivian walked with a bit of a skip and rhythm this time. She met up with Kila who was currently on guard duty downstairs.

"You look happy."

"Of course, I think my love will bloom soon." Vivian grinned.

"Then, what are you doing here? Your clothes are too bright for this dark prison atmosphere."

Vivian smiled again and touched her lips with her index finger, making Kila shake her head. "The boss will scold me if he knows this."

As Vivian entered, she opened a metal grate using a key. In front of her was a middle-aged, paunchy, mustachioed man. The man who was her target last month, Vivian managed to catch this man the next day.

"Hi! Do you remember me!"

"What do you want from me?!"

"Ah sir, please don't shout, the others want to sleep, and I didn't come with a gun either, did I?"

That's right, unlike the previous people who forced the old man with various weapons, this young lady in front of him didn't bring anything dangerous except for a meal.

"Since I caught you, you are my responsibility. At least you can't be tortured all the time, right? I bought this food and drink at a fast food shop so it must taste good."

"Huh, you're finally treating me as a human being? I don't know what you're looking for but if I get out of here I'm sure you'll all be dead!" The man was Jason, Vivian's real target. He immediately took the package of food from Vivian and started eating it, finally, he could taste humanized food, not just shapeless vegetables and rice every day.

"Ah sir, you'll choke, please eat slowly."

The old man-Jason didn't listen to Vivian's words and continued to eat, but after the meaning was half gone, his body was burning from the inside. He couldn't help but drink the glass given to him by Vivian.

"You know what, sir? Today I was upset because I couldn't help my friend."

Vivian re-entered the room, and saw the old man trying to breathe while holding his chest.

"You Alpa's can't think a little more humanly huh? the type of you guys just a piece of trash." Vivian didn't care about Jason.

"It's hot!"

"Hot!"

That was the only word Janson kept repeating each time. His body was burning and blistering, and she was thirsty to death, so he grabbed another drink from the water container in front of her, only to find that he was still burning.

"H-help." This was more painful than being whipped once or twice, it was more frightening than having a knife right on his neck. They wouldn't kill Janson because they needed him. But, if he had to taste death itself, it was so scary! This time he felt like his life would be over in a matter of seconds...

"Ah I was right, the effect is buried in the body, right? I don't know if your body will become blistered or not, I'm curious but please wait for five more minutes. Don't worry, you won't die, I have prepared the medicine, just pray that my concoction will work."

"No, help me, help me."

"Hmm, I will consider it if Mr. Jason wants to tell us, about aaaall the things about slavery." Vivian smiled sweetly, she then sat down at a slightly distant place while watching the old man who was already writhing on the floor.

At least, this could reduce her anger at those damn Alphas.

Vivian cried in Zion's arms. The guy had now returned to school after being absent for more than two weeks.

"No problem. You won't be able to go to my house anyway because my family is all over the place."

I continued to hug Zion not letting him out of my arms, Marrel who had been here for a while decided to separate us.

"He's just recovering, don't bother him."

"So what? You're bothering him when he's sick! That's worse!"

"I didn't do anything." Marrel defended.

"Oh I told you that you came to visit. I'm sorry you got kicked out that time, and thanks for the fruit."

Vivian stared at Marrel in disbelief, and with a disgusted look at her.

"Are you going in there? really? You know that Zion doesn't just have a fever."

"I wasn't planning on going in, I just wanted to give him some medicine." Marrel defended herself.

Bullshit I thought, then looked back at Zion on the side.

Knock knock.

The three of us looked towards the door.

"Vivian, let's get started."

Zion patted my hand and grinned, "You should get going." he said to Vivian's excited nod.

Marrel and Zion watched Vivian's departure from the classroom,

"I can't believe all the commotion yesterday was just because you guys wanted to see Vivian's prey," Marrel said while looking at Vivian's behavior trying to be cute.

"Vivian is not someone who falls in love easily, even when she is seduced by you, the playboy," Zion replied.

"You're equally ineffective at that." Zion laughed.

"But Vivian's taste is good, the new professor is very handsome indeed."

"You think so too?"

"I have eyes you know."

Marel pouted, feeling defeated that her two best friends had chosen the old man over her, Zion laughed out loud and encouraged her by patting Marrel's back several times who was hiding her face on the table.

"Where are we going today, Prof?" She now was getting used to being an assistant.

"Just keep helping me with the report for the first semester students. If you don't know the answer, ask me or read a book."

And so far her job was to check the assignments of the first-semester students. It was quite boring since it was not Vivian's favorite subject.

"Again?"

"Since your grades are quite low in biology, I think this is the best way, you can read over and over which answers are wrong and right and then you will remember them."

Vivian could only accept the fact that she wished she could do something else with the love of her life. Professor Xavier also sat in front of Vivian, he then prepared the children's exam files that seemed to never run out from yesterday.

"Because there will be midterm soon so more papers will come."

Wow, don't tell me that this handsome professor in front of her is dealing with this all by herself? Hah, now she knows the reason why professors are so particular about the quality of their students' assignments. If I were alone reading thousands of papers and they were all trash, I would give them an F.

"Let's begin." Xavier took off his glasses, put them on the table, and brushed his hair back. Making Vivian have to check her nose many times in case she had a nosebleed.

"Very Sexy."

"What?"

"Huh?"

It seemed like her thoughts were spoken.

"This! Someone wrote about Sexi... whatever this is."

Professor Xavier seemed to think for a while. "You mean Sesil? Strangely, why my student would write a term for an attached animal on a quiz about plants."

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know."

I'm so lucky, I don't know if there is such a term in biology at least I don't have to be too embarrassed for saying that she is so sexy.

"Ah Sir, can I come again tomorrow?"

"I'll be here tomorrow, but you have the day off."

"Yes, but I also want to study, is it okay if I accompany Professor for a while here tomorrow? I'm also in charge of being an assistant."

"Are you sure?" I nodded. Of course I won't waste such an opportunity.

"You can come, but don't push yourself. I don't want to take away your vacation."

No, Professor Xavier is wrong, instead, my entertainment now is to watch Professor's face silently.

"Of course, don't worry!"

Again, Xavier's ultimate smile came out, making Vivian feel dazzled by it.

"You're a good boy," Xavier said.

Vivian replied with the usual smile displayed when she was looking for an advantage.

"Sure."

At least she looked good in front of Xavier.

"Thank you Professor Xavier!" Vivian waved from outside the car, she had just been dropped off by Xavier at the nearest bus stop. Xavier replied to Vivian with a brief smile on his face. After that he closed the car window and drove on the city streets that were always congested every day.

As usual, his days as a teacher could not be empty, he always woke up early, prepared questions and class materials and then left for campus.

Once on campus, Xavier had to stand in front of the blackboard for several classes for about five hours without stopping, if there were night classes of course he would not go home and choose to sleep in his office.

Xavier parked his car in the courtyard of the office, he got off there and an officer immediately took over his car keys to park. He entered the building, and all the guards and employees there slightly bowed their heads to Xavier as he entered.

"Sir, the Chairman is currently in his office."

"I know."

Xavier entered. He did not want to be noticed any longer and be looked at like that. He did not like it.

"Didn't I say I would not be receiving guests today?"

The cold, stern, and pressing voice frightened an employee who was standing at the entrance.

"B-but he said it's v-ve-very important."

"I don't care about that. I said DO NOT ACCEPT GUESTS. And you're completely incompetent at taking care of that, huh?" The clerk apologized and quickly left with a pale face.

Xavier hesitantly knocked on the door.

"WHO'S THE F*CK IS THA- Oh it's you."

The man with an irritated face and messy slicked-back hair began to relax his expression once he realized that it was Xavier. The younger brother-Elder and backup leader of this place, let out a tired breath while swearing several times in annoyance.

"This damn job never ends."

"You've worked hard, Walt."
