Chapter 4 My dilemma

had mixed emotions because of the sudden turn of events. I allowed Ethan to touch me because I thought he will just spend the weekend and I will never see him again. I never imagined that my husband will ask him to stay without telling me.

Goosebumps filled my whole body. Indeed, Fred doesn't usually stay at home, but if Ethan can have sex with me under his nose just now then he will do it again. Fear of losing my marriage gripped me. I made up my mind that I will stay far away from Ethan, even though I knew it will be difficult but I was determined to do so.

I took off to work as early as 6 30 am the next day. Fred was still sleeping when I left the house. I refuse to allow him to touch me at night, after several attempts he gave up and slept off. He thought I was still angry because of what he did. But what he did not know was that I was not myself. I felt guilty about cheating him under his roof.

Fred had been faithful to our martial vow, several women always came to him, seeking his attention but he chose to ignore them. His immediate workers were male. His bodyguard doesn't allow those women close to him, not to talk of granting them the opportunity to go out with him.

I told Fred that I loved my freedom and cannot be going out with any bodyguard. He agreed and let me be without any guard.

I drove into my office and locked myself up. I went into my world of fantasy thinking about the great sex I had with Ethan. My phone buzzed, it was Ethan.

"My love, how was your night? Hope you slept well. Lots of kisses from me to you." It reads.

I smiled, that's one of the things I loved about Ethan. He knew how to melt a woman's heart and put her under heat.

I'm fine, hope you slept well too.

"Yes, I do. Please come to my room, I need you now I am Horny now' he said.

"I am not at home, I am already at the office. I said

"Why did you go to the office so early? Is there any problem? He asked putting a lot of concern emojis

'I'm fine, there's no problem I just needed to be alone.' I replied.

"I See," he texted back.

How can I tell him that I have decided to avoid him to save my marriage, as soon as I dropped my phone, it started ringing. It was Fred.

"Honey, where are you? I searched everywhere in the villa for you. Where can you possibly be at this early hours, you are not even in the gym" he said.

"I am at the office, I am sorry I didn't inform you. I don't want to wake you up" I said

"Just be careful okay' he said and hang up.

I sat down and started working on a design for our upcoming fashion festival.

I am indeed the head of procurement, but I still love designs. I designed sometimes to keep myself busy. I always brought to life my best design anytime I am emotionally disturbed like today.

Suddenly my door opened, it was Ethan, l was horrified to see him.

"Sweetheart, I brought your breakfast," he said coming closer to me. I gazed at the time, it was already 7. 30 am. Soon my staff will start coming in.

"What are you doing here? I Inquired

"And who showed you my office? I queried

"I told you that I brought your breakfast for you". He said pulling me up from my sit and embracing me.

" I needed you last night. I couldn't sleep. I can't even think straight. You're messing up my mind" he whispered

"Ethan, please let's not do this here" l pleaded with him

"How can I leave you?" He said and he started kissing me real hard. Before I knew what was happening, I lost all my self-control. It is always like that anytime I am close to him. I thought I can avoid him but that was a big lie I told myself.

Before I knew what was happening, I started moaning and gasping for air under his kiss.

He was about to pick up my lingering which was on the floor when the door opened.

He gradually grabs it and put it inside his pocket. He stood up and his gray eyes met with Fred's deep nomad blue eyes which speak nothing but power and wealth, revealing his stoic demeanor

"Why are you here so early Ethan? He inquired, in a deep voice that was cold and rigid like never before.

I became so restless and my heart throbbing very hard that it was threatening to bust out.

Ethan was calm and composed. Still looking into his eyes dared him to do his worse.

"I am her assistant remember? What kind of assistant will be on the bed while his master is working? He mocked him.

"Of course your right, no assistant does that. But it always ends badly when a servant left his lowest corner and jumped to his master's table to eat his food, I am sure you are not such a servant." He groaned.

This was the second time Ethan ran to her aid when he was supposed to be the one doing that. Yesterday he succeeded in taking her food to her room. Today again he came to know why Rena came to work early only to find Ethan before him. Ethan's attitude made him look incapable of taking care of his wife. And that has begun to annoy him.

"If you don't mind, I want to speak with my wife," Fred said

A part of me wants to stop Ethan from going because I was not myself and I am not ready to face Fred.

"Sure", Ethan replied and left the two of us alone.

Fred came to me, he tries to pull me in his arms but I moved away from him. He ignored me and pulled me forcefully. He brings his mouth close to me but I shoved my head away from his mouth.

Fred was hurt by my attitude, he moved a bit away from me and his hands inside his pocket.

"We are going to dinner party tonight, get ready before I come back home". He whispered to my ear before he left.
