Chapter 4 4

Ethan for a moment was filled with rage, to protect this strange lady, he didn't know why he wanted to save her, maybe it was the act that disgusted her in itself.

Walking over to the desk where Mr. Robert still contemplated on whether to leave his prey alone or just yell at the top of his voice, he barely had the chance to react because Ethan was swift enough to knock him off balance.

"You bloody son of a beast, attacking a woman's privacy is one mad thing that should never be done," Ethan breathed out angrily, and at once, he glared at his knuckle, feeling pain there.

He might have hit the boss hard enough if that simple act had made him feel so much pain, then the effect that it might have caused on the man's face would be a different story to tell.

As expected, a bone in Robert's nose had been maliciously fractured, and lifting his head to stare at his face, he cried out to him furiously.

"A gangster with a positive morale to protect a lady? wow! that is a first," Robert burst out saying blatantly.

Robert's words were sick, it got Ethan infuriated, and as he dashed close to the door shutting it from any intruder, he watched how the young man on the door had a moment or two to get a stand for himself.

When that was done, Ethan stole a glare at the pretty lady still in shock from her possessive boss who almost had her raped, and the thief who might harm her if she doesn't do as planned.

That apart, taking a few steps towards Robert, Ethan saw him aiming for the alarm button, to make a public announcement.

"Don't you dare, dude, I swear, this gun is loaded and in a second, it would have your brain crashing on the wall," Ethan said his voice thick and filled with one emotion__ anger.

It was a choice for Robert to make, and in this situation, he is not going to put a hold on anything other than the one that was in place.

"What do you want from me?" Robert asked rubbing his nose faintly.

"Where is the bag?" Ethan's question was soft, and it made her grit her teeth in fear as she stared at him wittily.

"What bag?" Robert demanded feigning innocence.

This is one game that annoys Ethan the most, having to hit his prey before getting what he wants.

In two strides, he stood in front of the young man, grabbing his knotted tie and squeezing it till his eyes shot red and he had to beg for a release because it pained him so badly, agreeing that she could barely breathe.

It is obvious that the fairest part of it all is setting his objectives, and with force.

"Trying to pay the hard target right? well, that wouldn't be for long," he said, and at that instant, he used his knee to hit him hard in the stomach.

There was a sharp cry that filled the air, it wasn't from Robert since the voice might have been hoarse. The only person in the room was the mysterious lady that had almost been violated.

Swirling his attention to the lady, her tear-streaked face and running nostrils caught the young man off balance. This is the kind of woman Ethan had always envisioned to have, the soft and docile lady that wouldn't nag as Rudy would in any given opportunity.

It was a brief discretion because at once, Ethan was back to glaring at Robert for hitting him badly.

"I want something you have, and that is money, the one that is here, and do not try playing the innocent because you know better than me what a loaded gun can do to a mere mortal like you," Ethan's thick voice penetrated the man's ears.

It was a minute before he cracked up, putting his hand above his head as he led the way. Removing the black bag filled with dollars worth ten million, he pushed it to Ethan's chest, begging for his life in the process.

"Please, take the money and leave me alone," he cried out as he took deep breaths and released them very often.

Ethan had the money secured in his hand but for some reason, leaving was a no for him.

He just wanted to stay there for a while staring at this goddess, this is all he has got left as of the morals in his body. Well, that wouldn't be as promising as though it seems to be.

"Leave? Just leave? you must be kidding me," he blurted out in anger.

That might be freaking confusing to what Ethan needed, Elise stood there her eyes shedding more tears than usual, even though just sticking her eyes out to him, her heartbeat accelerating even harder than they all thought it should be.

Walking close to the young man, he held the man by the hand and pulled him away.

"Let go of me, where do you think you are going with me, huh?" Robert inquired.

He is a stoic man, an offensive potbelly, and the grey suit he wore was just a caricature of himself to perfection, Ethan would be on the floor rolling with laughter if he glares at him twice.

Well, he escaped that action of his and stopping just in front of the young lady, Elise for the first time jumped in fright.

"I will pretend like I didn't hear what you just said, but before I leave you would do one more thing for me," Ethan blurted out faintly.

Robert had his head bubbling with a lot of confusion in it.

"What else do you want?" Robert's question popped out in a fierce manner.

A small smile pursed across his lips, that was the best thing that crossed his mind and despite the fact that such a thing had happened when he is around, it is just to use it to his own advantage, and more.
