Chapter 2 2

The incessant ringing of his cell phone, made him look at Rudy who was in cloud nine and thinking to himself whether he should go out of her and pick up the call, he could feel her legs, catching up on his waist as a sign that he was going nowhere and shouldn't even think about it.

"I have to take this call baby, it is about work," he spoke out but Rudy did not bring that understanding to want to let him go, she held on tight to his waist still but Ethan had to choose between making money or fucking her. He chose to pick up the call of course and that action made her so mad at him. She was so angry because he had cut her fantasy halfway just because of some stupid job and Ethan not liking what she was saying, moved away from the room a little before taking hid call in order not to get her to talk in the background.

"Hello, I think you can rally up your house and start reading here, the boss will be here in some minutes and I want it to be a smooth operation," the caller said and Ethan followed every information that was being given to him, he told the caller not to worry himself as he was going to be there with his team. The conversation was closed and all he wanted was to go to work and make the money which he was going to spend on the same girl who was denying for him to pick up the call which could land him some good deal.

Walking back into the room, he could see her looking all angry and having full consent for her, he approached her to apologize for doping out so soon but Rudy had taken the thing so personal that she began to yell at him with her mouth calling him all sorts of names.

"Are you seriously going this right here and now?" he asked feeling awkward and Rudy still nagging him, giving him no choice but to leave the house to his friend's place where he could have a clear mind to plot whatever her had going on in his head. Picking up his stuff and heading for the door, she stood there asking him where he thinks he is going to but Ethan knowing the kind of fury he has, preferred to leave that morning, other than for him to do something which he may regret.

Walking back to her seat, Elise Marley Travis is loved almost by everyone at the office especially for her kindness and hood skills at work. Not only was she beautiful, but she also has an intelligence that was very contagious and intimidating at the same time. Her words were very inspiring while her workload always piled up because she was too good to even say no to anyone.

She had her moments of distress and just like every other young lady, she was going through a tough time which only she could tell anyone. Her life was good and getting an office was her second home and she had arranged it in a way that it was very comfortable for anyone who gets into it.

Sitting on her office seat and looking around, Elise felt sad knowing that she was going to leave the place any time as she was due for a promotion. Her heart had already accepted that space but it was rather unfortunate that things had to be like that and transitioning was essential in life

Placing her hand on the files that were on her desk, her office line immediately gave out making her attention to be diverted towards it. Thinking of a way to dodge the call so that she could at least rush over those documents which have been pending on her table, the incessant ringing of the phone made her stop.

Picking up the call, it was her bigger boss and he was asking her to come to his office right away. Without any discussion, he hung up the call. Elise could not tell what was going on actually but deep down in her heart, there was something that she strange and she could feel it.

Getting to her heels, she led the way for her boss's office so that she could know what was going on, and on her way there, she met her friend and colleague Zoe who loves to joke around and tease her often like she was a baby.

"Zoe, not now, I have to get to Mr. Roberts office he just gave me a call," she spoke out having a smile on her face but Zoe not wanting to let her go, told her to stay a bit longer as she had news for her. Elise could not wait and though it was as though she was going in a circle with her friend, she told her to let her go first and that she was going to be out in some minutes.

"Okay, I will be editing for you, so you better come out else I will come and smoke you out like a fish," she mumbled. Elise smiled at her friend and wondered what she had done to deserve such a mad friend, her heart was at peace knowing that Zoe was always there to make her laugh.

Knocks on the door and waits for a second...

"Come in," Mr. Robert spoke out looking all happy at the sight of Elise. He always loved to see her and with his lustful stare, she always felt uncomfortable in his presence. Her boss was a pervert and he was not even the owner of the company but just an intermediary but his actions were always nerving as he felt like he could to anyone to anyone at any time.

Ethan and his boys were already at the location and looking at the building, he had hesitated for some minutes, with his eyed screening through as though she knew the place.

"Boss, is everything okay? are you having second thoughts about the plan?" one of his boys asked but Ethan was tongue-tied and could not tell them exactly what he was feeling inside. Why was his reaction that way as soon as he had reached the appointee's place and was he going to carry out the plan successfully?
