Chapter 2 Head on with a Goddess

Aragon

"Is she awake?"

I couldn't stop thinking about that amazing s*x. I couldn't stop because I enjoyed every second of it. No seductress or concubine could satisfy me the way she did. My body demanded more.

I tried sleeping with my favorite s*x slave to get full satisfaction but she didn't succeed, so I killed her.

"No, my Lord."

It's been three hours. How could she still be asleep?

"What did the doctors say? When will she recover?" The dragon hesitated to speak. My red hair and eyes flashed when he didn't answer. "Do you want me to repeat myself?!"

"No, my Lord."

"Then answer me before I lose my temper. What did the doctors say?!"

The brunette dragon gulped. "She has been confirmed dead, my Lord."

On hearing those words, I stood and black fire escaped my mouth. The dragon screamed in terror until even his ashes were burnt to ashes.

Akira was dead! I was fuming. All the other soldiers had bowed their heads, fearing for their lives.

My body trembled and my skin turned to scales. My black horns grew out of my head.

I quickly took a sip of my healing gin and returned to normal. My dragon was furious. He wanted to kill everyone in sight. To pacify him, I burned every dragon in the throne room.

I sent one that I kept alive to summon Azar.

My dragon wanted to kill even me but that was impossible. Dracul stepped into the darkness and I couldn't see or feel him anymore. I wished I had stopped when she fainted so I could have more...

Azar looked unterrified at the sight of the burnt ashes and bowed. "Yes, my Lord?"

I crashed on the throne and he stood. "I have sent you to deliver a message to the Ridius pack."

"Yes, my Lord."

The next words hurt my manhood. "Take the body of my mate with you and dump it on the way there."

He was quiet for a second before replying. "As my Lord wishes."

He turned around and walked out of the throne room. I got what I wanted but why did I regret it so much?

One minute I was screaming in pain from my burning holes and in another, sudden peace came over me. I found myself surrounded by blinding white light. The pain, suffering, and sadness that was once over me were gone.

I searched myself and there was not a single scratch on me. My golden skin that used to be paler because of my suffering shined brighter. I wore a white flowing gown that glowed just like the light.

"Hello, is anyone there?"

Confused, I walked around but it felt like I was moving in circles. Then a thought hit me. Was I dead?

"Yes, Akira."

I looked behind me for I heard the soft words come from there. Slowly, a wolverine sitting on a platinum throne appeared. She wore a dress made of white wolf fur. She had long white hair that was just as long as she was tall.

Her pale white skin complimented the white light but her grey eyes were sharp and focused. She was the prettiest thing I had ever seen.

The white light around us disappeared and we were on bare ground in a desert.

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"I am the one you pray to every night. You are where you've always wanted to be."

"I don't understand."

"Sit."

Unexpectedly, a chair made of sand and brick erupted from the bare desert ground. I sat as she commanded and I began to understand things.

"You're the moon goddess?"

"Yes," she replied. Her voice was soft like marshmallows.

"And I'm in heaven?"

She laughed. "Not exactly."

"Then what am I doing here?"

"It's not your time to leave yet."

I shook my head, laughing sarcastically. "But I'm dead. It's over."

"I'm in charge. I can change the rules if it pleases me."

I stood up, angry at her words. "Take me to heaven or hell or wherever right now!"

A force came over me and I was forced to sit again. I tried to stand but I couldn't.

"I control this place. This is my world."

The bare desert ground shot up shrubs and trees. Soon, the whole desert turned into a thick tropical rainforest. The chair I was sitting on turned from dried mud to wood and greens.

"I'm meant to be mad at you. You gave me such a horrible fate." She didn't say anything. "Why did you do this to me and still not let me die in peace?!"

"Do you know how you were killed?"

I remembered the continuous thrusting I was given. I closed my eyes and tried to delete the terrible images.

"You killed me. Why did you give me such a horrible fate?"

"Your story is not over. There are some things I have to explain to you."

"What is left of my story? What more could you possibly explain?! It was nothing but pain and suffering from the very beginning."

She changed the topic. "Have you ever wondered who your mother was?"

I was stunned. My mother? I was already dead so why were all those details important now? "I'm not interested."

"She was Duchess Matilda, the daughter of a dangerous Dragon Mafia who was a cousin to the Dragon Lord."

Everything around me stopped, even my functioning organs. All I knew and thought was true became lies. I didn't know who I was anymore.

"My mother... was a dragon? But my father..."

"He was Alpha Logan of the Glowpaw pack."

"B-b-but how is that even possible? How can... It's not possible."

"Would the moon goddess lie?" I hesitantly shook my head. "It happens once every millennium that a wolf and a dragon come together, and succeed at producing an offspring. A hybrid. You are a product of that, Akira."

I couldn't close my mouth on hearing that. "I'm a hybrid?!"

"Your wolf couldn't come out because she always hides behind your dragon. You are unable to fully unlock your wolf powers because of your dragon powers."

"I'm meant to be more powerful. Not weaker!"

"True. But did you ever challenge yourself to release your inner powers?" I never actually did. "No. I cannot waste a precious gem like you. You have a lot to accomplish, Akira, that's why I'm giving you this second chance."

"What if I refuse?"

My question surprised her. She looked at me as if I had said a forbidden word. "You can't."

"Why not? It's my life."

"But I make the rules."

I could see the desperation in her eyes. "What would you lose if I didn't return?"

She looked at me carefully, sensing my suspicion. The trees and shrubs of the thick tropical rainforest disappeared and water shot from the ground. It covered us up. Fishes and underwater creatures popped up from nowhere.

We were under the ocean but I could not feel water on my skin. My chair turned from wood and greens to coral and seaweed.

"I have nothing to explain to you." She blinked for the first time since I saw her. "You have to move out of your comfort zone. Speak to your wolf and dragon. Be friends with them, release your inner powers and your story will only get better."

"What if I'm not able to? What then?"

"You will." I didn't have that much confidence, what if I failed? "Do you have anything to say before I return you, Akira?"

I paused, noticing some things about her that I didn't see before. "How dare you make Aragon my mate!"

She laughed softly and waved her hands. "Goodbye... Akira."
