Edward could not believe what had just happened. The strange encounter of her glancing his eyes oh this strange girl had left him burning in desire.
This mind obliterating experience had made butterflies to fill his stomach in a fashion that had never occurred in his lifetime.
In so far as he could remember, no other girl dared to resist him in his entire lifetime. He had just transferred from Greatwood High school where the nouveau riche residents of Savanna took their kids.
This was plainly because he wanted to get far from girls who always were in his case trying to win his attention.
It had even taken the intervention of the school's administration who were concerned by the frequent fights that would emanate among the girls on who was to have Edward as her own boyfriend. He was a very hot guy that it would make one proud to have him around herself.
His heart was outrageously thumping in his chest as he remembered her snow white smile which would quickly fade away when she would face him.
He was appalled at what exactly she was smiling about in the few times that he had glanced at her.
He really wished that he would have reached out to her in an embrace but decided against it when she stared at him with her razor-sharp eyes that would pierce his soul.
The unnerving effect that this new girl had left in him made him so nervous that words failed him. He also noted that she wore unfashionable clothes in a bid to hide the beauty that lay underneath her.
He was so sure that he would do anything to get this girl to be his girlfriend and finally marry her. The gleam in his eyes was nothing that he had seen before in his life.
He knew that his parents knew him as a celibate fellow who disliked the ladies who milled around him wanting him to give them a chance. He would overturn this in a short while as he had found his better half, he told himself.
He was shocked that in just the small amount of time that they had met, he had developed interest in Sarah whom was pushing him away to the furthest corner.
" Continue pushing me my love, you can do anything to me including beating me up. I do not care as long as my life is preserved so that I can spend an eternity with you." He thought to himself amused to himself by what was occurring in just a day of him arriving at this school that was not as big as Greatwood.
He remembered how he maintained a deep gaze into Sara's eyes which made a feeling of warmness to sweep over him. A sense of irritation vibrated through him as he thought about anyone who would dare approach Sarah.
The fact that Sara looked shy in his presence was making him uncomfortable. I need to stop this before it even begins. He was the first friend that was going to soften her heart and he was not going to let any guy snatch her from him.
He swore this to himself as he headed to the hostel that his father had secured him in the school.
His father was a rich man whose influence spanned across all spheres in the entertainment industry, aviation industry, real estate and the banking sector. His father however believed in discipline and hard work. He had taken the initiative of cultivating these values in his children. He had started off as a poor man and did not hesitate pushing his kids to give the best of themselves.
Edward was the only son and he had two sisters. One was older than him and had already gone to study at the university abroad as an aeronautical engineer. She was particularly interested in inheriting her father airline as a pilot and versed with experience she would ensure that her dreams come true.
He was interested in joining the university to study a bachelor's degree in economics just as his father had been constantly advising him. Transferring schools also had the benefit of giving him a lot of space s that he could concentrate on his studies.
It was however amusing that he was going to bury that idea far away as he believed that destiny had arranged for him to meet the beautiful damsel that could make his life interesting and fun.
This was evident by how wildly his heart was racing at that time.
