Chapter 9 She won... again

I quickly pushed her and blocked her eyes in front of Theon. The expression on her face changed automatically when she looked at me. I raised an eyebrow at her and crossed my arms again. What did she think? Will I let her flirt with my friend again? If that was her goal, I would not let her succeed.

"What are you doing? Why are you getting on my way, huh?" She asked me angrily.

"Why? Are you interested in him?" I turned to Theon for a moment but he was just looking away.

Chloe looked at Theon as if she wanted to claim it right away. "Yes! He's so handsome and I want him to be mine."

I smirked. "And do you think I will let you take him away from me?"

I feel like Theon is looking at me now but I just ignored that. While this Chloe is just a little bit like it's about to explode. I will never let her take even the handsome man next to me. I won't let that happen no matter what!

She took a deep breath and then looked at Theon. "Can you tell me your name, sweetheart? I want to know your name, my love." Chloe said softly so I laughed.

That tone of voice did not suit her, she looked like a flirty and slimy woman. It's funny that she wants to know Theon's name, I just don't know what her reaction will be about that when she finds out that.

Theon looked at me as if asking permission. I just nodded and smiled. "I am Theon Jayce Sevilla... 2.0?" He Introduce himself.

I laughed at his last words. Really 2.0 really? He doesn't need to mention that but I think that's better. I turned to Chloe and saw how surprised she was, as in. Her eyes widened as she covered her two palms over her mouth as if she didn't expect what she would hear. Her friends and the other students watching us reacted the same way.

"So," I took a step between us, "do you still want him to be yours?" I asked teasingly.

She didn't answer right away so I laughed even harder. I approached Theon and adjusted his collar, confused by the tug Chloe had been doing lately. I looked up at him and smiled broadly.

"You are no longer an outcast and weird guy in Villareal High School. Now, you are my friend." I laughed softly. "You are so lucky that your friend is an angel."

I looked up at them all and tall as I looked around. "Theon Jayce Sevilla is now officially my friend! I'm warning you guys, don't ever bully him and gossip about him or else you're dead."

They couldn't answer but I knew they understood what I said. They can't fight me, because a guardian angel like me also knows how to fight and doesn't back down in any fight. I was already walking and as we were going up the stairs I heard the last thing Chloe said causing me to lose my smile.

"I still want him to be mine! I will make him tp be mine, I swear it Scarlet Feyre!"

I will not let that happen. When we got to the room the women immediately attacked him and asked what his name was, where he was from and whatever. I just left there because I was just going to get stuck. Cathy and Alexa were about to make a fuss when I pulled them back into the chair at the same time. They looked at me badly.

"Why? I want to see his face!" Alexa excitedly said.

"Yeah, me too! Let us go, Scarlet. He might notice my beauty so I should go there, too." Even Cathy is so excited about that.

I just took a deep breath and then dropped my bag on the chair. "Don't bother. His name is Theon Jayce Sevilla. Okay now?"

I sat in my chair when they did not answer. They brought their faces close to mine at the same time so I immediately back away. I stared at them before standing up and crossing my arms to face my classmates who to this day are still crowding Theon. It looks likes that he was an actor with a very handsome face.

"Hey!" I shouted and they immediately returned to their seats.

I just sounded a smirk when Theon looked at me as if he didn't understand what he was going to say. She probably didn't expect his classmates to attack him like that. I went to the front of the table and hit the table with my two palms. They looked at me.

"He is just Theon Jayce Sevilla, our outcast and weird classmate." They whispered. "But, he is no longer an outcast and weird guy. He's my friend so don't bully him and gossip about him. Understand?"

"YES, MISS PRESIDENT!" Simultaneously they agreed so I smiled and nodded before returning to my seat.

Theon sat down as well. Chloe and her friends arrived with Sir Alvarez. I feel a little taken aback by Theon because I can see that Chloe actually intentionally hung her arm on Theon's arm the whole class. Every time I cut myself, we end up in a fight. We would have almost got into a fight if the next teacher hadn't come.

The class always ends like that so I can't focus on what the teachers are saying because of this flirtatious woman. Break time came and I immediately went in front of Chloe.

"What's your problem, huh?" I asked her annoyingly. She stood up and looked at me wickedly.

"I don't have a problem! You! You're the one with the problem! You're too caring!" She shouted back at me while slowly pushing me using her finger.

I burst out laughing and then looked at him with a smile. "Me? Are you serious? You should, because you're so immersive! It's all just that, you want to have it even if it's not for you!"

"Because I want people to pay attention to me. It's always like you! You! You! It's always you... How about me? Am I not existing in this freaking world?"

I could not answer immediately. I averted my eyes and then let out a deep breath before looking at him again. Her few tears were already dripping causing me to stare at her face. I now see her as kind, fun, gentle-faced and not full of make-up.

I nodded slowly. "You want people's attention? You already have it a long time ago, Chloe. You just didn't notice it because of your anger and jealousy."

"Did you just say... jealousy?" She laughed angrily. "I'm not jealous of anyone, Scarlet."

I smiled. "Really? Why do I see differently? Why are you interested in Theon all of a sudden? Because of his new looks... or because of me?"

Suddenly her face became serious so I closed my mouth. "It's none of your business. Don't you ever get in my way again, Scarlet. I won't let it pass this time." She said as she rolled her eyes at me.

"As if that I am afraid of you. Listen carefully, you will never feel the feeling you want and you will never have the people's attention, kindness, care, and love if you are still keeping that anger and jealousy inside you, Chloe."

"W-whatever!" She just said before leaving the room.

I just rested deeply while watching the door he came out and I did not realize that my tears were dripping. I immediately wiped it so that no one else could see, and then I went straight out. I ignored whoever called my name, all I wanted at these times was silence. I went rooftop and there spent time, I didn't eat either.

When I returned to the room and they were all there and when I sat down, our teacher entered. The class was quiet, as well as in subsequent classes, none of us spoke except the teacher who was speaking in front. I don't know why Chloe and I have such a big deal with other students, because every time we fight like this the class always gets quiet.

When it was time to go home, Chloe left quickly and Hailey and Trixie were left behind, but they immediately followed. I just sighed because I didn't know what to do first. When I looked down at my desk, my notebook and bag were gone. When I looked in front of me, Theon was standing there, smiling broadly while holding my bag.

"Here! I've fixed your things so don't worry." He ruffled my hair and smiled before leaving the room.

I looked at Cathy and Alexa with her arms crossed. "We won't ask you. We know that you aren't in a good mood," Alexa said.

"Let's go?" Cathy, who was standing on the door jamb, said with a smile.

I just nodded and then left the room. I said goodbye to them when I got in our car. I leaned my head back in the chair and then closed my eyes. I feel very tired and I want to rest right away. So that's what I did when I got home. I ate for a while, rested and then slept.

The next day, I was in a good mood so I quickly took a shower and went downstairs to eat. I don't want to be hungry again when I get to school. I remember what happened yesterday and it was really not good. Honestly, whether I admit it or not, I know in myself that I miss my former friend Chloe. From childhood we were friends until we went to elementary school, we were fine, but when we went to high school his behavior suddenly changed, he quickly became frustrated and you can't understand the behavior he had then.

I didn't want to go back to that because it was painful for me to suddenly lose my dearest friend. But to this day, we still can't help but remember the thing that was at the root of our quarrel. And the anger and jealousy she feels is compounded by the problem from her family.

Their family is rich and it cannot be denied that they are richer than us but we know more and our business is legal compared to her family. Her daddy's business is illegal and I'm not sure if he also uses Chloe, I haven't confirmed that then and until now.

"Here!" Theon gave me water and drank it quickly because I suddenly choked.

"Go to the bathroom and fix yourself," I said to the woman and then looked at Alexa who was supposed to accompany her before looking at Chloe.

She smiled at me and applauded, no wonder that. "You're late a minute, huh?"

I crossed my arms. "Cut the nonsense, Chloe. I told you, If you want to fight me, I'm free... anytime."

She raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Then, I will call you for that, soon." She smiled foolishly before leaving in front of me.

I could do nothing but go back to my seat and eat again. No wonder all the students here are bullied by her today. She has always been like that! I looked at Theon when he suddenly sneezed.

"Do you want to say anything?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

He immediately nodded so I smiled before nodding. "I just want to ask about you and chloe. But I think, you don't want to talk about it." She smiled.

I swallowed my chew first before letting out a deep breath and then looked at him seriously. "Do you want to know who I am? Do you want to know where it all started? Do you want to know who was Chloe in my life? Do you want to know everything about us?"

I asked a series of questions that surprised her, as well as Alexa and Cathy. I noticed Theon swallow before nodding at me. I looked down. Take a deep breath a second time then look at him.

I nodded. "Fine! You will know about it." I stood up. "Let's see each other on Saturday in the rooftop."

I left after I told him that. There is nothing wrong with telling me this for the first time. I felt that Alexa and Cathy followed me and they both followed me. When we were in the hallway, Chloe stopped me, it wasn't new to me but her eyes seemed to glaze over with anger.

"What is it?" I preceded her.

She quickly approached me and grabbed my arm tightly and then pulled me hard against the locker.

"How dare you to tell others about the past? Do you even ask for my permission?" She whispered, apparently not wanting to be heard by others.

I raised an eyebrow. "Why would I ask for your permission? Are you that really important?" I ask for an answer.

"You bitch! Are you trying my patience?" I just stared at her and then loudly removed her hand from my arm.

"I'm not a bitch. I'm a teller of unfortunate truths." Slowly and in a whisper you said that caused her to frown.

"What?"

I didn't think she would be able to quickly rush me and tweak at the same time as she slapped me. And because of what she did to me, I also pulled her even harder and twice as hard as she did. She thought I was going to lose? Never.

"How dare you, you bitch! You think, I'm a fool? Huh?" She shouted as she was on top of me and tweaking me.

I turned around because she was at the bottom. "I don't care what you think! You know, my middle finger salutes you!"

She turned around so I was at the bottom again. "Ugh! I don't care about your middle finger! I will never fit in. That's one of my best qualities!"

"Then your quality is so low! Stupid bitch!" I shouted but someone immediately separated us so I didn't get to slap her.

It was just Theon. This time, he grabbed both my arms as I continued to struggle. "What? Let me go!"

While the other man is holding Chloe who is also continuing to struggle. "Hey! I will make you all pay! Let me go!"

I stopped and then looked badly at Theon. "Let me go." He immediately let me go when he saw that I was serious. I approached Chloe slowly but quite far away.

"I wish I could understand you, dear... but I don't bark." I smiled saying reason for her to stop and look at me.

"What did you say?" I just shrugged. "Do you think I will let you win?" She raised an eyebrow in response.

I smiled at her and clapped causing her eyebrows to meet. "I already won, Chloe." Her eyebrows met even more. I laughed softly and crossed my arms.

"A lion doesn't turn around when a small dog barks." I smiled. "Remember that!" She was pulled away from me as she struggled again.
