Chapter 3 Emergency

"You're trying my patience" Asher said with an evil smile. He stood up from his seat and move closer to the lady and the lady shift back in fright until her back hit with the wall.

"Talk now!" Asher yelled to her face.

"Sir I didn't... know anything about it" the lady stuttered and Asher eyes darkened immediately.

For what seemed like forever he was just standing there staring at her, without saying a word. The lady was already feeling uncomfortable with the awkward silent. His silence was really making her uneasy.

He started taking step forward, his deadly gaze not living her. The secretary was just praying that the ground should just open and swallow her, because she has witness Asher brutality once, and she doesn't pray to experience something like that again.

She stepped back in fear, as her body started trembling. He finally stopped walking, and the next thing his hand flew to her neck tightly shocking life out of her.

"Please!" The secretary struggling to go, but Asher is way too stronger than her. Asher released his hand from her neck and the lady cough out.

" Are you ready to talk now?" Asher asked and the secretary shake her head. She muttered something like.

" He is gonna kill my parents, if I didn't do it" but it's loud enough for Asher to hear.

" Mike!" Asher call. "Boss" Mike replied. "Take her to the car" Asher said and walked back to his chair. "He sat on his chair and crossed his leg. " Please don't take me away" The secretary said and Mike drag her out.

"Boss, I think that lady is innocent" Mike said. "Who told you she's innocent, that lady is a criminal, she knows where my document is" Asher said.

" How did you know sir?" Mike asked and Asher bang his hand on the table angrily.

" Don't you dare ask me f00lish question, I know what am saying so go and drop her in the the house and lock her up in the torture room" Asher said.

" Am very sorry sir!" Mike replied. " Sorry for yourself, get me a new secretary, first thing tomorrow morning, because I can't do all this work alone" Asher said.

" Alright sir" mike replied. " One more thing, arrange some b*tches for me, it has been long I had fun and fun is good for the body" Asher said and Mike rushed out.

" I think am done for today" Asher said and stood up from the chair. he carried his briefcase and walked out.

"Have you called your boss?" Kingsley asked. "No I just finished eating I will call him later" princess replied.

"Call him now" Kingsley said and princess muttered some words before dipping her hand in her pocket and pulled out her phone, she scrolled through it for a few seconds and dialed a number. She waited impatiently for a while, then the person from the other end finally picked up after a few rings.

"Hello, good evening sir" princess said. "Princess how are you and hope you're fine?" Mr Thomas asked.

"Yes, I am, I just wanna inform you that I won't come to work tomorrow, I wanna go for check up tomorrow" she said and walked to the kitchen to drop the plate she eat with.

"Alright, but make sure you come early next tomorrow" Mr Thomas replied. " Alright, thank you sir" princess replied and end the call.

Princess P.O.V

"What did he say?" Kingsley asked me when I get back to the sitting room. " He didn't give me permission to go, he said there are many work for me to do tomorrow" I replied, don't mind me, I just love giving people high BP, I won't be the only one suffering from sickness.

"Give me your phone let's me talk to him" Kingsley said. " He won't be happy, if I give you my phone to talk to him, he can even sack me and I don't wanna lose my job" I replied.

"your health come first, you will have to sacrifice your work for your health" Kingsley said.

" yeah, you're right I said and burst into laughter. "Why are you laughing? and what's funny?" Kingsley asked.

"Nothing, my boss gave me the chance to go" I said and stick out my tongue at him.

"I will so punish you for making a f00l of me" Kingsley said and I ran to my room and breathe out in relief. " Kingsley, is going to punish me tomorrow, but let me enjoy my freedom before tomorrow, the money for my Operation isn't complete and we have few days left, I think it's tomorrow, I guess Kingsley have forgotten that it's tomorrow, I don't wanna remind him because I know he doesn't have the money.

My phone ring out loud and Gabby name flash on the screen, why is she calling me now?

"Watsup girlfriend" Gabby said and I roll my eyes. "I know you're rolling your eyes right now" she said, stop it.

"Why did you called?" I asked. "Hey, don't try and turn the table, I am the one angry not you" Gabby said.

"Was that the reason why you left me to myself today" I asked. "Yeah, that's because you deserve it" Gabby said.

"Yeah, and you aren't my friend again, you aren't a good friend" I said, I can imagine her rolling her eyes too. "So how's your health?" she asked.

"I am not fine, I am feeling pain on my chest, I don't wanna tell Kingsley because he will be damn worried" I said, and am actually saying the truth.

"you have to go for check up tomorrow" she said. " Yeah, I need it, I hope I get the money before the operation date, because am not okay" I said to her.

" You will be fine, that money is huge" Gabby said. "Yeah, that was why Kingsley and I are working our ass out" I said.

" I know, I am also working towards it" she said. "I am scared, I don't think we can get the money before that time" I said to her.

" you don't have to be scared I believe you will be fine" she said. I suddenly felt a pain in my chest, as if they hit hammer on my chest and I shout out in pain.

"Princess, don't tell me this is one of your silly joke?" Gabby shouted from the other end of the call.

"No, my chest.... it hurt" I shouted. "Princess, stop this joke" Gabby shouted. "I am not joking, I said and cough out blood. " Help!" I shouted and my phone fall freely from my hand.

I felt a lump on my throat and I can't shout again. God I hope I won't die today. God I knew i am a sinner but just give me this last chance, I don't deserve to dîè like this, not when we haven't find our real parents.

Kingsley pushed the door open and rushed to my side, my vision became blurry and my eyes close on their own and I passed out immediately.

AUTHORESS P O V

Kingsley was about to go to his room, before he heard princess voice shouting for help, he rushed to her door and kicked the door open with his leg.

He walked inside her room and met her on the ground with her blood flowing on the floor.

"Princess, what happened to you, f*cking talk to me?" Kingsley shouted and carried her on his arm. "Don't do this to me, princess Walter, look at me, what happened to you?" Kingsley said and carried her to the car.

He dropped her in the back seat and rushed to the driver seat and speed off.

Kingsley parked the car at the hospital garage and rushed down to carry princess.

He carried her and rushed to the hospital. "Emergency!" Kingsley shouted and some nurses rushed out with pusher.

They carried princess on it and wheel her to a ward.

"Doctor what happened to my sister?" Kingsley asked. "Hope the money is ready?" the doctor asked.

"The money isn't complete, I thought the operation is next month" Kingsley said.

" Mr Walter, why are you like this, I told on is the 10th of November, what's today date Mr Walter?" the doctor asked.

" Today is 9th of November, $hit, f00lish me, what are we going to do now doctor?" Kingsley asked.

" Go back to the house and bring the money, so we can start fast" the doctor said.

" To be honest with you doctor, I don't have half of the money" Kingsley said. "Mr Walter, I will advice you to be fast about it, I need to attend to other patients" the doctor said.

" Doctor, can you kindly help me give her some drugs to use, I will get the money in two days time" Kingsley said.

"Are you sure, you will get the money, before the time you promised?' the doctor asked.

"Yes doctor, I will get the money by all means" Kingsley replied. "Alright" the doctor replied. "thank you very much, doctor I am very grateful" Kingsley said happily.

"Gabby what happened to you, you looked worried?" Thomas asked. "I have a feeling that princess isn't fine" Gabby replied.

"Really?" Thomas asked and Gabby nod her head. "Why don't you call her, to be sure, if she's fine?" Thomas said.

"I just spoke with her" Gabby replied. " Why are you worried, you don't have to be worried, since you just spoke with her" Thomas said.

"She shouted and dropped the call, she told me she's not fine" Gabby said.

"Am sure, she's fine, you know princess joke Alot, maybe she's playing prank on you for leaving her in the restaurant today" Thomas said.

" She's not fine" Gabby replied. " let's sleep, don't worry, we will go check on her tomorrow" Thomas said. " Alright" Gabby replied and lye flat on the bed, but she because restless and stood up immediately.
