Chapter 4 Bad day

"What the hell?" Lily blurted out, standing up.

"I thought you wanted a shortcut?" Max looked at her and casually said. "And you shouldn't use that tone when talking to your boss."

"Okay, sorry, sir," she conceded, squeezing her hatred inside. "But is this your office?"

"So what? Are you shy?" he asked, nodding toward the door. "If you're afraid, just close the door."

What the f***? Lily heard her scream in her head. But then she quickly realized, this was a good opportunity to kill him. Especially without Ray Baker's presence.

Pretending to be obedient, Lily walked over and locked the door. Then she walked over to Max, taking a deep breath before sitting at his leg. Despite being mentally prepared, her body temperature was still strangely high, her heart racing – not from excitement, of course – but from fear. Dammit. She has never been this close to a man.

"Take off your shoes, I don't want to get in the way," his voice said right behind her ear, startling her.

She reflexively bent down to undo the straps of her high heels. When she lost her balance and thought she was going to fall off the chair, Max's hand grabbed her waist and held her back. Lily jumped, her face burning hot. But for the plan to work, she tried to stay calm. When she was able to take off her high heels, she felt a sudden heat because he began to kiss her neck. One of his hands caressed her breasts through the thin layer of clothing. Lily struggled to bear it, her heart racing from embarrassment and worry.

As his other hand slid under her skirt, caressing her sensitive area and pulling her panties down, Lily suddenly realized that he really wanted to do it right here.

Dammit. This was beyond expectation. Although she wanted to sleep with him for a chance to kill him, she didn't think it would happen in this office. Worse, there was no gun in her bag. When entering this building, people will be scanned to see if anyone has brought a weapon. Carrying a weapon on the first day of work is suspicious, of course-

Lily's thoughts were interrupted when Max grabbed her waist, lifting her to face him. She panicked when she realized since when had he pulled down both his trousers and his boxer. With one decisive movement, he ripped off her dress and threw it on the floor. Lily wanted to slide off him, but his arms were as hard as steel holding her back. He spread her legs apart, pulling her close to him.

"Hey, wai- Whoa!"

Lily's words were replaced with a scream as he pushed his hard object inside her.

Extremely painful. It felt like her lower body was being ripped apart.

"That's hurt. Pull it out!" She cried out, tears welling up in her eyes. Her hands cupped his chest. She wanted to back away, but behind her was the desk that stopped her.

She regrets it. She should have listened to Uncle Leo and not acted hastily.

"Oh sh**. Are you still a virgin?" Max's voice was full of surprise. "Relax. The more you stress, the more painful it will be."

In pain, Lily could do nothing but listen to him. She tried to relax while he kissed all over her neck and her collarbone. His hand unbuttoned her shirt and slid behind her back to unbutton her bra. With nothing to stop him, he buried his face in her chest, kissing, sucking. Lily felt a little less pain in her lower body. He slowly pulled the thing out, she thought she was free when he pushed it back in, deeper than before.

"Ah..." she yelled.

"Sorry," he reassured, his voice hoarse. "But you'll feel better soon. I promise."

"No, I--"

Lily cried out, but her sentence was not finished because he covered her mouth with his lips. His tongue, like a snake, slipped inside her mouth, wrapping around hers. She put her hand on his chest, and tried to push him away but couldn't. He pressed her against the desk, lifting her legs a little, his thing still sliding in and out of her sensitive spot, faster and stronger.

Lily had no choice but to endure. Gradually, she didn't know because her body got used to it or the mucus secreted from her body helped her reduce the pain. Her mind slowly returned. She thought it would be worth it if she endured this a few times and killed him for revenge. Next time she will bring a gun. So she pretended to enjoy it. She hugged his neck rod, moaning as he pulled away from her lips to breathe. He snarled softly when he heard her voice, pulling out and thrusting hard.

"Ah... be gentle, please," Lily exclaimed.

"Moan more," he said through his teeth, his breath heavy on her lips. "Your voice is great."

It'll be even better when she carries a gun. Lily thought while continuing to moan,

"Ah... Hmm... Max, I... I love you."

She knew it sounded disgusting to say that, but she had to act. She had to make him fall in love with her. The more he didn't guard against her, the more likely she was to succeed.

Of course, it works. Lily saw Max smile as if pleased. He kissed her deeply, while his lower body moved incessantly. She felt her whole body go numb, clinging to him.

Not knowing how much time had passed, when he came and pulled away from her, Lily breathed a weary sigh. Lucky for her, he used a condom.

"Sorry. I'm being rough," Max said, wiping the sweat off her forehead with a thin towel.

Now, she was still sitting on his lap, but the two of them were dressed properly. Lily didn't understand why he was being so kind after doing that to her. But Lily did not object. She leaned wearily against his chest.

"Do you always treat female staff like that?" she asked, trying to sound coy but feeling nauseous by herself.

"No, of course not," he said, chuckling. "I only do that to people I'm interested in."

Looks like last night's pretense of innocence worked.

"Don't blame me either, because this outfit makes you look so sexy," he laughed. Hot breath fanned her forehead. "And don't you want to be a bodyguard? Why are you dressed like this?"

"As you said, if I dress like this, no one will think I'm a bodyguard. I would protect you better," she said, feeling a little regretful afterward. Did he suspect that she had other intentions?

"Haha," he laughed, lifting her chin, his voice low. "It's just you who thinks so. But I don't need a girl as a bodyguard."

She was a little startled when she heard that. His blue-gray eyes looked straight at her as if there was magic power that made her body involuntarily stiffen.

Did the plan fail?

"So..." she said, trying to sound calm. "What do you want me to do?"

If she can't be accepted as a bodyguard, isn't today's effort in vain?

"I like your innocent face," at Lily's concern, Max smiled nonchalantly. Then, he leaned down and kissed her lips. Kissed her hard for a while, he answered. "I have too many bodyguards. You can be my secretary."
