Chapter 5 The Plan

"How was the math quiz" Becky asked sipping on her water

"I'm getting another C definitely. You?"

"A+ as usually" she smiled smugly,

"You sure you don't want some help with reading?"

"No thanks, I'm good" she saw it as a waste of effort trying to be the best at something you hated.

Just then for some reason she caught herself looking up to catch Raynold Price walking in. He moved up to the table by the working water dispenser where the football team sat. Raynold fucking price, she growled within her. He was the only guy that didn't follow the system and was allowed just because of his looks and the fact that he was best friends Jason Bell.

There wasn't even that much about him to call pretty: Jet black hair that shimmered without much light and bounced in the wind, chiseled chin and a well structure nose, pale green hazel eyes and then the cutest one-cheeked dimple ever known to man.

She agreed, he was beautiful, but that attitude of his, the extreme worst. To top it all off with a big juicy cherry, he had fucked with one of her people, her best friend.

"Gosh, I hate that guy" she grinded her teeth stabbing her lunch continuously with a fork

"Yeah, but don't take it out on your sandwich" Becky's brows furrowed with remorse for the bread already torn to pieces. The question she had wanted to ask was how the fork was involved in eating a sandwich.

"I mean, just look at him, he gets to seat at the best table with the football team just because he's a pretty face."

"Not just that, he's super smart and the a genius on the piano-"she shut up instantly on feeling her intense glare.

"You're not helping, Bee."

"Sorry. I get what you're saying, I hate him too."

Despite her words Gianna doubted if she was truly giving the guy enough hate he deserved. That was just how it worked out for him; he'd break a girl's heart and she'd still be stuck under his charms unable to fully hate him for what he did.

The power he had just cause of his good genes, it made her just want to bash that face against the wall and loosen a few teeth and see how pretty he'll look after. She watched him laugh hard together with the guys at something Jason said

"He doesn't deserve to smile and laugh as he pleases when he just broke your heart 24 hours ago in the most heartless way."

"I know, but there's nothing we could do."

"I could go up there and punch-"

"No, Gianna, nothing violent at all"

"But he's gotta pay one way or another. He's not just going to stop with you, he's going to break a ton of girl's hearts and keep walking away scot free and doing whatever the hell he likes because of his pretty boy privileges." It all infuriated her

"You're right. He's not going to stop till he knows what it feels like. Maybe then, he'll think twice about breaking hearts over texts" she sniffled remembering the day before.

"That's the issue. No one is going to break up with that pretty face willingly. He has 80% of the girls charmed with his looks and charisma and that god awful flirtatious tongue of his. That would only be possible with someone that doesn't think he's all that."

"Yeah," Becky sighed sadly,

"And the only person I know that doesn't think he's great is you and the remaining 20% that aren't into guys."

"I'm bet he sleeps with a mirror and he tells his complexion goodnight before he falls asleep."

A moment of silence passed between them the background noise encompassing the environment. She took a bite into her lunch again glaring at the football team's table again till a light bulb suddenly sparked on. Her head swerved to Becky instantly.

"I just had a very crazy idea that might not work but we have to try"

"What?" Gianna leaned in, close to her ears.

"What if I get Raynold Price to fall helplessly in love with me and then mercilessly dumping for the most bizarre reason over a text?" She pulled away to gauge Becky's reaction.

Her eyes had widened like saucers and stared back into her. From shock she raised her voice loudly forgetting where they sat and responded finally

"WHAT?"
