She was in anger and moved into the restaurant leaving her mom alone outside, "it hasn't gotten to that Selma, I just said that so you should be very careful with your life, you know we live in a very horrible street, please don't get angry after me," Mei voiced out, she was a very calm woman and she never loved seeing Selma in anger that's why when she got angry Mei pleaded she restored her good mood. Mei tried entering the restaurant when she received another client, it was a lady who was standing not far and who watched everything, she was amazed seeing a lady defend herself so well. "Can I have fried rice?" the lady asked, "Yes madame, please have a seat we'll serve you in some minutes," Mei said as she was getting into the restaurant to go serve the lady. Selma hearing the ladies request from inside had taken a plate and was serving her, when she was done she placed her plate of food in a clean tray and went out to serve her, "welcome to our restaurant madame, here is your food wishing you a good appetite," Selma said as she placed the food in front of the Lady. "Thanks, I'm impressed by your words, do you study marketing in school?" Mrs. Cujoh asked as she was called. "No madame, I'm a student pharmacist and I'm in my fifth year of studies," Selma said with a gentle voice. "Wow," Selma was done discussing with the lady and went back to the kitchen of the restaurant, they still had unfinished food and it was time to preheat them as they were still receiving customers. She checked in the pots and they had ground nuts sauce which wasn't finished, tomato sauce, and spaghetti sauce which were still available, she had the gas turned on and preheated them. Her mom starting at her outside approached her and asked if she was still angry, she told her mom she wasn't and her mom was glad to know she had finally forgotten about the issue, her mom went back outside while she was still inside and it took her 30 minutes to get done at the kitchen, when she was through she got outside and sat close to her mom, her mom asked if she was tired and she said she wasn't, "if you aren't tired why to behave in such way?" Mei asked. "I got a lot of things I'm thinking about right now, but I'll be fine no need bothering yourself," Selma said. "Things like?" Mei said while looking straight into her eyes, "Forget about it." Selma was now concentrated on the Lady and once she was done eating, she instantly removed the plates from her table and took them to the kitchen then she brought potable water for her and placed it on her table, then she went back to her seat. The lady was done and called Selma to know her bill "22$ madame," Selma said. The lady brought out 50$ from her bag and gave it to her, she tried going inside to go get her balance but Mrs. Cujoh asked her to keep the balance, she was so happy and she thanked her for what she just did, but Mrs. Cujoh asked her not to bother about that and after that she left, she promised to come eat constantly at their restaurant, they had good food and were welcoming. When Mrs. Cujoh handed over the money to Selma and asked her to keep the balance, Mei wasn't around, she left to go see a friend who could borrow her 100$, she needed to pay some textbooks for Selma who needed them, but when she arrived at her friend's place she told her she never had 100$ to lend her, Mei had no other choice than to come back to the restaurant all disappointed, but when she came back Selma jumped on her while smiling, this made her forget about her broken heart and asked what made her so happy. "Guess what?" "What? Please tell me, you know I'm not good at guessing," Mei said while taking a seat. "The lady who was at the table before you left for madame Kayse's house gave me 50$ and asked me to keep 28$ as balance, and a customer equally handed me 15$ today, and my friend in school promised to give me 50$ in school tomorrow so I can buy the textbooks, so now you are just gonna give me 7$ to complete it to 100$," Selma said while smiling. "Are you serious? You just made my day you can't imagine how I'm happy about all this, I can't believe you made almost 100$ because of your kindness I'm so happy," Mei voiced out. She was so happy seeing her daughter happy, she knew if 100$ wasn't given at school the following morning, she was gonna be driven from school and the money she had wasn't enough to give her some, she had a bad market day, Hearing this from her daughter gave her so much joy. Initially, it wasn't the first time Selma received some dollars from a client, this was because she was a lovely soul, every client appreciated her for the way she treated client, and how she welcomed them in their mini restaurant, Mei seeing her daughter growing up into a responsible and a well-educated lady gave her so much joy, though they had no money the neighborhood always envied them because they lived happily even when things were difficult on their side they always found a way of getting out in such situations. Lynne was still conflicting with Jenny at Liam's corridor, she told her she never wanted them to talk about it anymore, and she told her if anyone was to know about what happened at Liam's corridor she was gonna lose her job, Lynne promised never to repeat what she saw and she left for her office. This time Liam was still in his office with the lady, "so can I know your name so we can open a file," Liam asked. "Krystelle, that's my name," the lady said. "Wow what a beautiful name," Liam said. He opened a file for the lady and wrote all the symptoms she felt and prescribed some drugs for her, he asked her to go get the drugs at the pharmacy, he added saying if the symptoms still affected her she could come back, Krystelle took the booklet but she was lost, she never knew where to but the drugs as it was her first time in the hospital. Liam had nothing doing after her consultation so he decided to show her the way to the pharmacy, he accompanied Krystelle to the pharmacy and helped her with the drugs she needed and later he walked her out of the hospital gate and was about move to his office when Jenny fell on him, "hello darling where are you from, been waiting for you for a while," Jenny asked while throwing her hands at him. "Can we respect ourselves, we are in the hospital here and not in a private house okay, I'll appreciate if we keep it strictly professional shall we?" Liam said while looking straight into her eyes. "How can you ask us to keep it strictly professional, my parents call themselves darling why not us, and besides we are soon getting married or have you forgotten that?" Jenny responded, "Your parents you said, they are married couples and we aren't yet married so I prefer we keep it professional," "Are you afraid your colleague take you not for example? Don't be disturbed by that, you are here in my parent's hospital and as such, you ought not to be afraid," Jenny voiced out. Liam was not comfortable with Jenny calling him darling even when he was in front of his superior, he never wanted them to think he was disrespecting them, coupled with the fact that he was no longer interested in her. Jenny asked if they could go have lunch in a restaurant but he told her he could not as he had other things to attend to, "Oh really so you can't take a break for me but you can do that for a stranger, I watched as you held that girl to the pharmacy to go buy drugs, by the way, who is that girl I hope she isn't your girlfriend like she won't love what I'm gonna do to get," Jenny said while looking straight into his eyes. "You can't be serious Jenny, I don't get you anymore do you mean you were standing and starting at me while I have a consultation with that lady? You are medical personnel so I need not remind you that it's completely illegal," Liam said as he was surprised, he couldn't believe Jenny could do such. "Of course I know it's illegal but I won't allow any girl to approach you, you are mine and for me alone," Jenny retorted. "Please I need to be alone, be kind enough to leave now," Liam said as he was in anger, "What? Did I hear you well, this is my dad hospital and I choose to be where I wanna be okay, I'm gonna stay in here with you till you tell why you were touching that girl in such manner," Jenny said. Liam hearing what Jenny just said got more angry and left his office leaving her alone, he went over to his secretary office he told her to cancel every appointment he had with patients as he was taking his leave. Lynne knew him so well that she needed no one to tell her he was furious, "are you angry doctor?" Lynne asked. "I'll be fine, have a nice day and please don't forget to lock up my office when Jenny is out of there," Liam said as he left her office. "Since miss Jenny returned doctor Liam has not really been himself, he is always angry because of what she does whereas he was always smiling," Lynne mumbled. She got up and went to check if Jenny was still in Liam's office, and when she arrived, Jenny was still in his office she taught he went outside to take some air, she never knew he left for the house. Jenny seeing Lynne got her mad and she scolded her, "what do you what here?" Jenny yelled out. "Doctor Liam on his way out asked me to lock up his office when you are gone, so I came checking if you were gone so I could proceed," Lynne said with her hands folded behind her back. "Do you mean Liam left for the house," Jenny asked all surprised, "Yes doctor Jenny," Lynne said. Jenny in anger she instantly left Liam's office for hers, she wanted to inform Liam's mom what just happened and how he shamelessly ran without giving her an explanation. She was now in her office and took her phone which was in charge and scrolled through her phone and once she found her number she called her through the phone, and she answered, "good day mom how are you," Jenny asked, "I'm good and you?" Mrs. Zheng asked, "I'm not good, I had a little quarrel with Liam this morning and he was unable of facing me, he shamelessly ran away and left me in his office and asked his assistance to lock his office when I was gone, can you imagine that," Jenny said with a calm voice. "You mean Liam did that, I'm sorry my girl once he comes home I'll talk to him about that, and please don't get angry okay, and also don't talk to your parents about this," "Yes mom I promise not to get angry and I won't tell my parents about this but he needs to apologize," Jenny said. "Okay."
